    If somebody is thinking lifting gas pressure to 4 bar, you just need to buy 4 bar gas regulator because stock is only 3 bar

    rather than sourcing the random parts necessary to build an intake like in this video get yourself: 1x silicone 90degree reducer 3" to 2,5", 300mm 3" aluminum pipe, 3" podfilter. Now its your decision if you want to pour oil vapors on the ground and all over your engine bay or vent them back into your intake, if so get a 19mm hose takeoff fitting meant for installing into hoses (usually for boost gauges etc) attach the fitting into the 90° reducer and run a new hose from the fitting to your breather.
    for hoseclamps you will need 1x 50-70mm, and 2x 60-80mm, i recommend marine grade stainless + looks better

      @@grubydzban6132 ah ok. The 8V is not limited by the intake manifold. You can use the 2.0 manifold but you have use the silver plastic "Schaltsaugrohr" manifold. The throttle body is big enough and same as the 2.0. there are different exhaust manifold versions. The steal one is the best for flowing. The 1.6 and 2.0 crossflow were limited by the original camshaft. A good Aftermarket camshaft and a good exhaust manifold will bring the Engine to a much better HP Output. Both Zylinderheads have a good airflow (for a 8V) there is No need to Change. The original VW "G" Camshaft should fit to, but can't say if its better. Please check out your fuel pump. Many Golf4 were driven by dead fuel Pumps. No power by high rpm and Lambda goes beyond 1!

    • @blastfromthepast3073
      @blastfromthepast3073  8 месяцев назад +1

      I forget to say. Don't use a Aftermarket exhaust Setup with more than 55mm . You will lose to much torque on low rpm. You only have 4 exhaust valves and the Abgase (sorry don't know Engl. word) need some Speed threw the exhaust to clear the Brennraum (sorry) to get more space for fresh air and fuel . Its better to replace the first silencer with a pipe than a bigger exhaust Setup.
