To answer the question of “why do you relax at home?”: time and money. Due to school, my schedule changes every 10wks and my stylist only works Tues-Fri. As of now, my income isn’t consistent and I’m growing out shaved sides, so I’m needing to relax more often. Oh, and bc my hair is growing so quickly right now, I’ve been scratching. Most def can’t get a relaxer from anywhere then 😂 I do plan on getting my stylist to do it once my hair grows out more and when life balances out some

Hard professional kind hearted ❤people like u I thought didn't exist anymore! I was wrong😂u even do it without compromising an I have never seen ur videos before . I might be white but I work with African American in a jail setting as well as white pple an 😮wow u have taught me many things as I set up all night taking notes for my ladies. My little African women deal with there hair being so dry that her twisted hair fell off they can order coco sticks an I supply as much as possible as a Cristian volunteer . I appritiate ur pride an hard work in wat u do. I'm working on more funds threw the community .I really do the best that I can. U inspired me in ways u will never know can't waite to order some of ur products an to show parts of ur video to them❤I really appritiate the example that my ladies will get to see in hard work pride an ethic thank u dear❤
When I used to get perms I would oil my scalp and edges to prevent burning and it work wonderfully.

For some people, it's HEREDITARY, some have SEVERE SCALP CONDITIONS due to their diet or MEDICATION and some people have found that due to their HEALTHY DIET or general life style, their hair quality has improved ie Going to the gym and sweating, eating lots of Kale and Spinach; which promotes hair growth, fish for Omega 3, drinking plenty of water for hydration and fresh fruit and veg; which promotes healthy skin; including that on the scalp and lastly ensuring they get a goodnight sleep.
All the above helped me regrow my hair. I went from bald to neck length hair! So DO BELIVE THE HYPE!

Her hair is really Pretty, but for me, myself I hate curls! I prefer body. I have long hair, that is a mixture of White, Gray, Silver and Black. I have had 5 inches of new growth, at one time. To each his own, though. I always say, live and let live! Beautiful job, Crystal!

every stylist has a different technique but I would never want my hair cut after curling... Makes it look choppy when it's blown straight 🤔🙄

Reasons: I don't put the relaxer straight on my scalp, and I don't use the comb teeth on my hair when I'm relaxing and it's so delicate, and I can't with beauticians chatting online while doing my service either. That would be the end of me

Crystal im sure you mean well with examples of why we are not at our appointment like we should be.........well my reason is my relaxer get my hair sooooo straight im afraid if I return every 6 to 8 wks my thickness will leave & my beautician be saying why are you not on time.....guess I should tell her but I don't.......trust you got your regular who no-matter what gonna be on time😂........its just no me😊 plus I go to my wash & sets.......its just my relaxers be delayed:))
Crystal thanks for input about values we possess. I would love to have a professional cosmetologist in my hometown that does hair like you do. They are amateurs hair care people and they want to charge top dollar for service, but they are nothing like you. The waiting time for me (past experience) was 8 hours. All day???!!! Had 9am appointment and left the salon 8 hours later. People came in after me and were waited on and their friends dropped by for retouches and were taken immediately.

Crystal, I'm not in the Chat, but I have always done all my relaxing and coloring at home, myself. I only relax, to thin my roots. They become too thick, with the new growth. I have NEVER had any problems. You're a great stylist, so I'm not taking anything away from the stylists and their expertise. However, it has always worked for me, so I just do it myself. Thanks.
