24:20 made me so much emotional. The boys of his age whine in front of their parents for chocolates or electric gadgets or whatever you name it. At the age of 15, he is already back from work abroad and has brought gifts for his family. Not only that, he walked all the way from Surkhet for days instead of taking a ride on a vehicle. He feels the responsibility for his family. You are a star boy, you will shine. God bless you.

@@harrisonwandera9184 Yes thats what i thought. Because the employers or the contracts will deduct their food allowance and accommodation and they give them very less money. My heart broke when he brought presents for their family which is just a pair or clothes and shoes and im sure he spent half of his money buying them T_T but this is life the world has to change

That young truck driver is a kind-hearted person. He fed the nomads and the little boy who worked at a construction site. Also i felt for that little boy who brought presents he was more happy he brought them than the recipients i suppose.May god be with them and keep them safe.people who are less fortunate are more compassionate.

Many thanks for sharing this documentary. I have been blessed to visit Nepal many times and whilst living there & traveling in the mountains, we discovered our motorcycle had a puncture. We gratefully accepted a lift in one of those lorries. The motorcycle went in the back along with my friend. I had the pleasure (as a privileged foreigner) of sitting beside the lorry driver for the duration of the journey...which took 3+ hours to get to ground level. I KNOW there is a God having survived that one.....although I now have white hair.
The bus roof thing is worth experiencing too...
Shanti Shanti to the good people of Nepal, the most beautiful country on the planet.
    Namaste.

I think my favorite part is Tilak and his friend, he’s very generous and kind and obviously brave and of course the cameraman who risked his own life to film this. Hopefully, they (the people who are interviewed) could watch this documentary and see many people loved and hoped for them. I can’t do nothing but wish them all a good luck. Stay safe you all.

A decade has gone by since this documentary was aired in France, and nothing much has changed for the people of this region. Hats off to Tony Comiti Production and the Crew. And the English narrator is simply amazing The documentary Series was titled "The Routes of the Impossible" Drapeau du Népal : the damned of the precipice ( Karnali Highway ) ( January 3 , 2009 )

Wish we could do something for them... So Innocent and yet so matured and Brave. Salute... !! The Kids I see here in Toronto are so protected and some of them are so used to a comfortable life and that some parents will not even allow them to cross a Road and look at these kids!! Blessings to them and their families!!
