colbster901 I know kindred was perfect it reminded me of some clone wars arcs but I realy hated crawling commander's its like rebels makes one episode for older fans and one episode for kids but whatever.
Kanan and Hera finally kissed, but it seems like that might be their goodbye. Also super funny how excited Sabine got. She was like look look Zeb! Would have been funny to see that they had abet going or something.
It was cool to finally see what Rukh looks like . The first episode was great especially the stuff with the wolves. Much like Bendu in the last season, I want to know more about them. The second episode, while entertaining, was not as good as the first one. I wouldn’t necessarily call it filler but a detour. I still can’t believe Ezra said a 90’s type one-liner after that guy died.
I'm surprised that they didn't say they showed the design to Timothy Zahn to get his input on the design choices for him. He is the one who created him after all.
I was always under the impression that Hera and Kanan were in a relationship all the way back at the beginning of the series. She calls him "love" the first time she ever talks to him in the series. Then they met Ezra, and Kanan had to back off from Hera to be a Jedi again, or she backed off to be more active in the Rebellion. Oh, and seeing Pablo charging his phone off a Gonk droid was just delightful.
When they went through the teleportation thing with the wolf's the water looks the same as in the card art for Ahsoka, maybe Ahsoka teleported off Malachor
I can't believe that Ezra wasn't more startled about how Kanan changed his name. I honestly thought that he'd ask questions for ten minutes straight. But I was still happy. I'd hoped that Kanan would tell Ezra his real name before the show ended.
At the beginning of the episode when Kannan was talking about the rebels connection with lothal. I think he knows that there fate is on lothal and I believe they are going to die here
This was my reaction: *Kanan and Hera try to kiss but get interrupted again* Me: Oh c'mon! Is this going to become a thing? If so, that's- *they kiss* Me: Yes!
okay okay okay. I've been thinking about this, and I think it'd be SO cool if after the attack with just a few fighters fails (which it obviously should), and everything seems like it's going to fail, Admiral Raddus' ship, The Profundity, comes out of hyperspace, along with some CR-90's and some Nebulons. Just imagine that! It'd be sooo awesome!
My predictions for rebel assault: Green Squadron, led by Hera, will launch an attack on lothal. Hera wears the flight helmet she last used in "Wings of the Master" given by Quarrie. It's now painted, probably by Sabine. Mart Mattin, previously seen in 'Iron Squadron', joins Hera's squadron. Wedge is not a part of this fighter group, neither is Hobbie. We know that Ezra, Sabine, Zeb, Kanan, and Jai are on Lothal. Vizago and the other crawler slaves will help out with the ground assault. Hera's fighters will launch an attack on Lothal, but they have to get past the blockade. The blockade consists of 7 star destroyers, 7 gozanti freighters, and 9 light cruisers, which totals to a minimum of 802 tie fighters. We know at least one tie defender elite is utilized by the empire. Thrawn is also commanding the fleet with Vult Skerris. Green Squadron fails in its attack and crashes down on Lothal as Capital City burns. Mart likely dies, and Hera will be the sole survivor of her squadron. Thrawn will also send Rukh to capture Hera, and they will fight in single combat. Hera will likely be captured, as it would set the scene for the second half of the season and establish just how dangerous Rukh can be. We know that by the end of the season, Lothal will not be liberated from the empire w because Lieutenant Sai from 'Lost Stars' graduated from its Imperial Academy after the first Death Star was destroyed, as well as the fact that the first major victory for the Alliance will be the Battle of Scarif that will happen in about a few months after this. And even without knowing about material outside of Rebels, the goal was always to destroy the Imperial factories on Lothal.
That Forced Unleashed concept art at 8:40 should of been the driving force of development on a star wars show. The game was so epic and should be canon
Maybe the sheer number of capital ships in such a small space will be a huge disadvantage for them? I mean, what are they more likely to hit, one of 11 tiny targets, or one of some 30+ enormous targets? Especially when those tiny targets are in front of those huge targets
YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone was just waiting for Kanan and Hera to Kiss and It Finally Happened! I Love Rebels Recon SO Much!!! I Miss It I Wish they would keep doing this for The New Shows. I LOVE THIS SHOW SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
Don't you dare kill off Kanan. Don't do it. You've got us high up on him and Hera finally pursuing a relationship, and I want to see that evolve. And to all you folks who say he has to die... screw you. It's pure laziness to go the route of convenience. Find another way. I know you can. Just... *Dew it*
Also, I think that clip at the end emphasizes one of the major differences between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire, in terms of space battles: The Empire puts greater emphasis on capital ships, while the Rebellion puts greater emphasis on individual fighters/interceptors/bombers. Just play the Empire At War games and you'll see what I mean. When I'm playing as the Alliance, I always make sure to have at least four to five or six squadrons of EACH fighter (X-Wings, A-Wings, Y-Wings, and B-Wings in the Forces Of Corruption Expansion) in every fleet I've built (X-Wings and A-Wings come in groups of five, while Y-Wings and B-Wings come in groups of three).
PFFF you are telling me that that single squad of XWings and a few Y wings are going to get past that massive friggen Fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers, Fighters, and Frigates Xwings are not blockade Runners like Correllia Corvettes
William Aguilar + X-wings are and only starfighters so a single squad stands little chance against that fleet without any kind of real support so I'm thinking they have something up their sleeve
It's no more ridiculous than the X-Wing and Rogue Squadron games (both of which were considered canon in the old EU) and what they'd pit you against. You could destroy entire Imperial fleets single-handedly if you knew what you were doing. Video game power fantasies aside, we only saw a small part of space in that shot. There could be more Rebel ships outside of the frame or part of a follow-up wave.
gregzz55 I mean, we got an entire mini arc about the B-wing prototype, and a Y-wing episode. The X-wing needs all the love it deserves. I seriously hope it’s not treated like the U-wing, where it just appears like it’s been around the entire time.
They're definitely not modelled after the Tie-Defender. It's way too short of a timeframe to come up with a new fighter design let alone produce several of them.
I honestly thought they were having an off screen romance. In past episodes she calls him "luv" with longer hugs and how they acted when they were alone i figured they were already establidhed
Peter Roberto No its about Lothal. They are clearing out the Imperial presence. They did do the same thing on Jedha, before the Death Star destroyed the city. So they are likely planning on bombarding Lothal or something.
The kiss was worth the wait
Kindred is a stunning episode, everything from the animation to the music...loved it.
colbster901 I know kindred was perfect it reminded me of some clone wars arcs but I realy hated crawling commander's its like rebels makes one episode for older fans and one episode for kids but whatever.
The kiss that sealed Kanan's fate
Yep. It's a sad day for the Republic. *cough* I mean the Rebellion.
Oh yeah he’s gonna die no doubt
*Loved these episodes, Hera's speech was astonishing, can't wait for The Battle of Lothal*
Jordan Garcia I know, I applauded it
Actually, Hera and Chopper are confirmed to survive. Sorry bout that ;)
“Oh, they did blown up, blown up big time” -Pablo Hidalgo 🤣
The way his eyes blew up when he said that. I laughed for sure.
That was gold
😂
Kanan and Hera finally kissed, but it seems like that might be their goodbye. Also super funny how excited Sabine got. She was like look look Zeb! Would have been funny to see that they had abet going or something.
It would have been hilarious if Zeb handed Sabine a few credits and Sabine said something like 'I told you so'.
Loved the episodes, the two of them. I was waiting for that kiss since the show started. Just loved it
Pumped to see some X-Wings
I'm confused that they just came out of nowhere. I thought there'd be a big introductory episode.
It was cool to finally see what Rukh looks like . The first episode was great especially the stuff with the wolves. Much like Bendu in the last season, I want to know more about them. The second episode, while entertaining, was not as good as the first one. I wouldn’t necessarily call it filler but a detour. anthony leach Same here.
I'm surprised that they didn't say they showed the design to Timothy Zahn to get his input on the design choices for him. He is the one who created him after all.
If we don't get it beforehand, I _really_ hope we get the behind the scenes footage of Warwick Davis recording for Rukh in the Blu-Ray.
Oh, you know he'll bring it up with Filoni at the next Star Wars Celebration. 👍
Pablo: OH DEY DUN BLOWN UP!
That kiss was not the Jedi way...
Obi-Wan Kenobi And? *May the force be with you*
Just like how you boned the Duchess of Mandalore and schemed to run away together earlier in life?
Obi-Wan Kenobi no wonder your jedi order failed. Luke's academy was way better.
Like your Padawan cares. Or you for that matter. *caugh* Satine *caugh*
Darth Caedus
Kylo Ren would say otherwise.
nice "Hello There" meme in crawler commanders too :P didnt slip by me
I just want to see Rogue One cross with Rebels already!
im still in shock from that kiss
* *happily shook* *
I actually stood up and cheered at the kiss. Took the Rebels writing team long enough.
Finally the X wings!!!!!!!
Let's hope Wedge is in one of those. I'm actually pretty satisfied with the way they're developing Wedge and the voice actor they're using for him.
When they went through the teleportation thing with the wolf's the water looks the same as in the card art for Ahsoka, maybe Ahsoka teleported off Malachor
Before 'Kindred' I actually thought that Ahsoka had somehow been reincarnated as the wolf. Now, I don't think she'll show up on Rebels again.
Good theory
IDK to me it was mainly a pretty obvious Mononoke reference...
She have to be in Rebels again!
Feloni had shirt with AHSOKA LIVES! Celebration so...
If you look at Ezra's eyes as they are going in it looks like the inside of hyperspace.
The shot where Carrie played with Warwick is *so* cute
Yup. I could TOTALLY tell that was Warwick Davis...
I can't believe that Ezra wasn't more startled about how Kanan changed his name. I honestly thought that he'd ask questions for ten minutes straight. But I was still happy. I'd hoped that Kanan would tell Ezra his real name before the show ended.
I like how Rook acts like a predator mixed with a high skilled bounty hunter.
8:26 Kallus has a new rival for the Most Epic Mutton Chops in Star Wars.
I loved how he plugged his phone in a Gonk droid.
7:44-7:50 is gold
At the beginning of the episode when Kannan was talking about the rebels connection with lothal. I think he knows that there fate is on lothal and I believe they are going to die here
Hera and Kanan kissed!
This was my reaction:
*Kanan and Hera try to kiss but get interrupted again*

*they kiss*
Me: Yes!
But it was not the Jedi way...
@@Obi-Wan_Kenobi You had a love interest too. (Satine Kryze)
Laughed so hard when the Trandoshan tripped and fell into the furnace.
So 6 X-Wings and 4 Y-Wings up against an entire Imperial Fleet? Hmm... don't think this is going to end pretty for the Rebels.
7 X-wings
Dont worry, they have plot armor :))))
To quote Ezra Bridger, "We've done more with less."
Simons James thanks captain obvious, didn't knew they were gonna die anyway.
8 X-Wings and 4 Y-Wings. I believe 12 is the typical squadron size in Star Wars anyway. Guess this is Green Squadron.
okay okay okay. That preview...OH HECK YES!
That Forced Unleashed concept art at 8:40 should of been the driving force of development on a star wars show. The game was so epic and should be canon
As long as they ignore the second one...
It's good Hera and Kanan finally kissed, because I've almost forgoten they are "together" :D
I assume Rebel Assault is the mid-season finale.
shame this is such a short season.
You're getting double episodes.
The episode is supposed to be 30 minutes long.
which is good but still... goes now sooo fast!
Yeah, seems like it
Best part of both episodes, Hera and Kanan kiss
6:35 when a kanera kiss gets interrupted
I like how two scaly bois did a better job of fighting the rebels than the death troopers did
Kindred was probably one of the top 3 rebels episode. It's a wonder how much Rebels has evolved.
Everyone's losing their minds over Kanan and Hera's kiss while I'm over here geeking out at the Mining Guild's baby World Devastators.
0:16 Well, you certainly took your time, you two! It's been three freaking seasons!
They talked about bringing Rukh to the show longer than he was actually in the show. Good thing that this is the last season.
Only 7 episodes left in the series! I'm excited and sad
It's about time, they teased us so many times!
man i swear these episodes keep getting better and better now i cant wait to see the ending for rebels
Okay, they finally kissed.
Now:
1. Kanan shall die
2. Ezra shall fall
3. Hera shall stay single for her rest of her life, and shall live long
I cursed out Ryder for ruining the scene earlier but cheered when they finally kissed
Awesome. I'm so excited they chose my question. Hoping Yavin IV will be further explored in the new canon.
I really shout YES behind my screen
I like how everybody notices the small number of X-Wings but not how that mining guild ship looks like a World Devastator.
That episode was sooo funny I loved it!
I'm an old man........that's absolutely *STOKED* about next week's episode(s) !!
A couple of x-wings and y-wings vs a ton of imperial star ships
Shipmaster Rtas 'Vadum: "Then it is an even fight."
+roderickuw Halo 3!

We honestly didn't enough Rukh in these episodes. Anyone else think the same?
I am hoping that they include more Rukh, honestly I loved him a lot
SYLO: Star Wars were going to see more of him don't worry ;)
SYLO: Star Wars Yes, but I know why they did it. Warwick Davis is kind of an expensive voice.
It felt pointless.... the miner Captain added more to the plot.
Crawler Commando's was kinda blah considering the streak of good eps
Hold on! Is it just me or did the show make the Mining Guild transports look like the World Devastators from Dark Empire?
dm7111722 That's what I got from it.
I was thinking the same thing. It's probably not a coincidence, seeing as how the show often draws inspiration from the old EU.
Not just you, my thought as well. Hang on they are World Devastators!
Adi B Well, these machines could still devastate Lothal, just very slowly.
Was it coincidence that she stood in front of the force unleashed poster at the end of this recon?
LITERALLY THOUGHT THE SAME THING
Yes.. Yes it was. Stop trying to make Starkiller happen it's not happening.
So that is the Hidalgonk. Now I'm waiting for some Pablurrg gun action.

Andi! Is that a Meseeks funko on your desk?! Hahaha, that's great!
6:43 Left side of the phone.
6:37 Chopper is a cat confirmed.
TIL Pablo Hidalgo has a car wallpaper on his lock screen xD
This was an awesome set of episodes.
Thanks a lot Hera. You just put a death flag on Kanan.
Every time I see a Gungan "oh Nooo" - Jar Jar Binks
Mesa love Jar Jar. Jar Jar great.

I mean, how the hell did they destroy the death star????
Please please please do not skim over how the rebels got the T-65s. Seriously, I’ve been waiting on the canon origin for the x-wings since episode 1.
redclark831 Same thing here. After seeing Tie Defenders I thought X-wing's were going to be the Rebellion's answer to those fighters. Guess not.
gregzz55 I mean, we got an entire mini arc about the B-wing prototype, and a Y-wing episode. The X-wing needs all the love it deserves. I seriously hope it’s not treated like the U-wing, where it just appears like it’s been around the entire time.
I believe X-Wings are getting reveled in the show.
redclark831 The X-Wings might have been made using data from the TIE Defender that Hera took to rebel command on Yavin 4
NOVEMBER 13TH IS MY BIRTHDAYYY!!!
Happy birthday! For my birthday I got the loth-wolf!
To you, Happy Birthday. Much fun you will have. Hmmmm.
Is that gonk droid really a charging station in the office?
I see Admiral Konstantine came back to life and grew a beard.
Warwick nailed it!
00:02 Mesa back!
Hello there.
DarthDroid1 General Kenobi!
You are a bold one!
Yes!
I've read, listened to and reread the Thrawn books and I think the way Rukh is quite accurate and they are steel-gray
That’s rather a large Imperial fleet those fighters are up against. Hera is awesome though!
Yay Kanera Happened Loved Rukh cant wait
Is the Protocol 13 that was mentioned the one involving Jedah?
Peter Roberto No its about Lothal. They are clearing out the Imperial presence. They did do the same thing on Jedha, before the Death Star destroyed the city. So they are likely planning on bombarding Lothal or something.
Lothal gon’ get Death Star’d
Who remembers the "Rebel Assault" games back in the 90's !
I still think that Clan Wolf will eventually make an appearance.
I gotta say, the part where the wolves walk on water really reminds me of the deer god in Princess Mononoke doing the same thing.
So excited for the "Rebel Assault" coming episode!
Those X-wings are nice, but I'm not sure that's enough to get through an imperial blockade of that size.
Bring back chopper cam
They did blown up. Blown up big time. - Pablo Hadogo-
Wasn't there a species called Noghri or something similar in the original Marvel Star Wars comics?
How did Jai meet up with the others when they went through the wolves' cave? I thought he left before the empire got to their base?
I really want a GNK power droid to charge my cell phone with.
I have a feeling that Lothal will be the next list of the planets that the Death Star will test fire on because of that Protocol 13...
Except the Death Star's first test was on Jedha.
Great two episodes
Did they actually make the Gonk droid a charging station for phones? Because that would be awesome.
Was the mining guild ship inspired by the World Devastator from the Dark Empire comic book series?
Did I just see a Mr. Meeseeks on Andi's desk?!
Thrawns Assasin was awesome In the trilogy.
So the U-Wing that Hera flew to Yavin 4 is the one that is stolen by Jyn in Rogue One?
