The Mortis mythos canon expansion here is one of the coolest additions to the lore I've seen in some time. Filoni's really hitting these last episodes out of the park.

I loved the background dialogue in this episode, with dialogue from all 3 trilogies in it. This series does an amazing job connecting different things in the SW universe together, and tying it in with the show itself
Right??!?? I have always considered all of canon as one, as LFL say they do, but it was so satisfying to actually SEE/hear them all connected as one. That was amazing.
I love when the sequels refer to the prequels. I loved hearing Luke say "Darth Sidious". It is all one universe so of course there should be no separation.
This episode was absolutely astounding from start to finish. From the world between worlds, stretching across All eras, to the unexpected but not unwelcome return of Ahsoka, to the highly anticipated return of the original Emperor, Ian McDiarmid. After 13 years, he brings his iconic voice back to Emperor Palpatine, haunting out minds again. It was so hard to see Ezra unable to save Kanan without losing himself and the others, it is the saddest decision, but we can't always save the ones we love, though as we all know, no one is ever really gone. Forever one with the Force Caleb Dume! I'm counting down the days until next week, when this fantastic series comes to a fulfilling end. #Rebels

She was "teleported" back to her original timeline on Malachor, in which she will play out the Topps Cards that we were introduced to by Dave in the past. She will be guided to a "Loth-wolf Portal" by her friend Morai (the Convor), and seek out Ezra and the Crew (maybe) after a certain amount of time. If she seeks them out before her savior Ezra helps her, there will be major timeline consequences that follow.
What more does Dave Filoni need to do to get a live action movie? Did anyone else watch this and think it was better than The Last Jedi? No one has a better grip on Star Wars and how to tell a Star Wars story than Dave Filoni.
Lucasfilm clearly knows Filoni's talents. That's why he is overseeing all the animated projects. Filoni understood Star Wars storytelling after Clone Wars. He studied at George's side. Maybe I'm wrong but I think the majority of fans want the George Lucas stories but directed by more capable directors.
I think the better word would be influence. She's not the Emporer. That said, I think Dave does a better job of connecting the Star Wars eras with reference than what we have experienced in the new saga movies. The saga movies really hate the prequels.
Honestly, I care more about Ahsoka than Rey. Why? Because Dave can write good, strong and FLAWED female characters that are relate able, even as a male.
I've got nothing against Rey, I disagree that she ISN'T flawed, or that she's poorly written, but I love/care about Ahsoka like a million times more than I do about Rey. Ahsoka can even get me sad thinking about stuff she's gone through, while I just feel sorry for REy but don't care that much.
Too be fair, Ashoka has a whole tv series and now rebels for you to get attached to her and Rey just has two movies, so Ashoka had more time and scenes to her advantage anyway, but yeah I'm with you on caring more for Ashoka.

Remember how in the last card it formed a circle of wolves around Ahsoka? Notice how the portal on the Lothal Temple resembles the circle of wolves Ahsoka found? I wonder... I wonder indeed.
The show had a great run, we saw great development, completed some story arcs from characters and learned much more about the force and its abilities. Characters such as Kanan and Maul have rose and fallen, while others like Ahsoka, the ghost crew, Thrawn, Wolffe, Gregor, and Rex still have an amazing journey ahead. I await to the next Star Wars series that takes its place or any other project that will make the galaxy far far away a real story to be told.

Dave really should be the center of Star Wars, he's completely Lucas's apprentice, really we can complain about Georges's scripts but he's almost impossible to match as a world builder and storyteller.
I don't think I have ever been made to feel so strongly about characters in a show before. I am not sure how to describe how unsettled I am knowing the series finale is coming. I am truly sad to see the series end. I have enjoyed immensely getting to know all these characters, learn more about the force, and that nothing is impossible. Thank you Star Wars Rebels team and Dave Filoni for a wonderful journey. I hope we can see some of our beloved characters again in another series. My grandkids and I would be elated. AMAZING!
Not sure what the demographic is for most Star Wars Rebels fans. As a 32 year old man who got the box set of the original trilogy on VHS for christmas some 25 years ago, I flipping love this show. Kanan Jarus is my favorite character of all time.
While I would love that, I'm sure their budget got in the way. If they had more money they could've shown wayyyy more in the portals. But to show a film scene they have to model the whole thing, texture it, etc which is a lot of work for 2 seconds or so of screentime.

The Mortis Arc episodes were some of my favourite from back on Clone Wars and one of my favourite moments in all of Star Wars, so fantastic job for bringing that back into action.
These two episodes really made me appreciate Star Wars and Dave Filoni even more than before. I really hope he continues at Lucasfilm and gets to write a live action trilogy. There was great action in these episodes, a spiritual mysticism, excellent lessons, and character development. So, so, so good!

The Mortis Arc episodes were some of my favourite from back on Clone Wars and one of my favourite moments in all of Star Wars, so fantastic job for bringing that back into action.
This better not be the end of Dave and Star Wars!! Disney better be working with him in another series!!

These two episodes really made me appreciate Star Wars and Dave Filoni even more than before. I really hope he continues at Lucasfilm and gets to write a live action trilogy. There was great action in these episodes, a spiritual mysticism, excellent lessons, and character development. So, so, so good!
This was such a huge risk of jumping the shark but it worked so well and was fresh and unexpected

I love Dave now. it all makes sense and this finally explains how prophecies and visions work in Star Wars since everything and everywhere at all times works all at once through the Force.

2008-2018 Dave Filoni has done an amazing job with the clone wars and rebels. Hope they give him the opportunity to give us a third :)
