Excellent video which I really enjoyed watching. Many years ago, I used to go pike fishing with boys from a coarse angling club here in Fife. I was never a member but used to listen with interest to stories of their catches of all species of coarse fish. The most hardcore members were obsessed with roach and they used to catch the very best specimens on sliding float rigs in a harbour and a drop net was required to land them. They used to get them over 2lb consistently and the best roach would always take fish of the year over any giant pike or large, dinner plate perch. It took me years to get where they were coming from. But I do now.
Was nice to meet you guys at the last PAAS lake day , well done on the big pike there .... enjoyed the video and hoping there's skate video in the pipeline if yous managed to get footage!
Cheers Richard, hope your well mate. Yes we did indeed, alot of its my out of breath and hanging on for dear life. River trent edit up next then the skate trip. 🎩👌
Magic moments like that make all the hard work worth every minute, keep up the good work, and keep the videos coming, tight lines lads, I just upgraded my coarse ticket to a full member on the big yin, it has a lot to offer
Often the way of it, go for one species and its another thats feeding. Big G did well again though. Lomond is a place dreams are made, but it can be awfy hard work!
