I love that one, something about the OM body that just makes it even better
I just brought one home just like that one and I could not be happier with it. It sounds amazing and is by far the most comfortable guitar to play that I own. I have a Taylor a Gibson J-45 a couple of Takamine's and a PRS, I enjoy all of them but if I could only have two it would be the Furch and the J45.
Thanks so much for sharing! We've been nothing but impressed by Furch's.
That freaked me out was looking at the guitar in the first seconds that sounded like a mandolin. I just bought a vintage 1 yesterday. Amazing guitar
They are incredible!
thats a beauty-got some grunt too
I own a Furch red deluxe OM. Sounds as good as my $5k+ guitars.
Do the vintage series actually sound different to the color models? I love this vintage 2 though!
They definitely do, they are built with a more traditional martin style tone in mind and we feel they do reflect it.
I don’t think the Furch necks are thinner than the Martin modified low oval/performance taper profile. I had a reimagined D18 that measured .850-.930 1st and 12th fret; my Furch Vintage 3 D-SR measures .856-.912- so very similar. So, a tiny bit thicker at the first fret, a bit thinner at the 12th but very close.
Sounds like a Collings.
Please don’t compare them to a Taylor. They sound more like a Santa Cruz to me.
I have an Orange GC, and I feel it is very much like a Taylor 800 series, only far more VFM...there's a reason Bob T. is the only luthier with a private jet.
Don't compare them to Santa Cruz either please
@@ricardosotosan2279 Might make the Santa Cruz owners nervous I guess after all the $$$ they spent. Good point.
@@marcusvaldes nah not nervous. Santa Cruz owners would just roll their eyes and think "this guy doesn't know what he's talking about."
@@ricardosotosan2279 I’m mostly joking and I love Santa Cruz. But My opinion is these guitars are VERY good. They punch WAY higher than their price tag.
The guitar player ruins the whole video
