went to the store to buy a martin… tried the 000-18, OM-28 etc. great guitars… but ended up buying the Furch Vintage 2 OM-SR instead! It plays just so easy and is great for finger style!
The first tune is called don't think twice buy a furch guitar lol, I'll be getting one for my 60th birthday this year, let's hope I'm around long enough to wear it out lol.

Beside the aesthetics and tuners does vintage models have anything more than standard models that would drastically affect the sound? Do you get torrefied spruce for exemple?
The differences between the Vintage and Color Series are mostly visual. The Vintage Series features full-pore vintage hand-brushed finish & a vintage design head, these can affect the sound.

Is this Furch VIntage 2 OM-SR the same as the older version of Vintage OM-35-SR?
Almost, the The Vintage 2 OM-SR replaces the older version of the Vintage OM-34-SR.

The grade of the woods is higher in the Vintage 3, as well as some of the appointments and materials used. We cannot say it is “better” as the Vintage 2 is a wonderful guitar in our opinion, but the 3 is definitely more eye-catching.
