I have the venue and love it my tuner works but after 2-3 minutes it turns off so I have to reset it to use tuner again but all in all it is great di pedal.
Maybe I'm stuck in a traditional style of guitar playing, but I think effects outside of reverb should be left to just an electric. It's like putting an effect on a piano. I just hate it. I agree with the LR Baggs choice though. Nice video.
thanks for the tips. Just got my new Taylor , Blackstar amp (which has a built in Reverb and Chorus) and thinking about some other pedals. Do you ever use a chorus effect?
So the way you have this set up is all of the pedals that you're running are in the loop of the venue? Is that right? Did you try putting any of them before or after instead of in the loop? I'm just building out an acoustic board right now and I have the venue. I've been playing it out a ton but I have a huge collection of pedals that I use with electric so I'm just getting my ears wet with building out the acoustic board.
The boost function footswitch on the LR Baggs Venue has a volume knob on the back, to control how much you want to boost your sound.
Good video and shift from the routine guitar reviews. I love seeing acoustic pedal boards even more then non-acoustic pedal boards.
Ian..fantastic walk through of your pedal board! Just what I was looking for for my acoustic guitar. Bravo!
Thanks Ian. Love the Lex for that cool sound!
Lovely tones coming out of that set up Ian. Thanks
Nice. Your enthusiasm and passion for what you do shines through, as it does in your playing.
Ian, check out the Albie (Big Ear). So many options and great, quality tones. You might (likely) fall in love.
What pickup is installed in the guitar you used for this video? I have a few guitars with a K&K mini and another with a LR Baggs Lyric
Ive been looking for this content. Perfect.
Well done 👍
Very informative and punchy as well
Gracias!
Very nice set up,and tones...

Nice job! Very tasteful.
Super useful vid! Really clear and concise demo of your gear....thank you!
Nice set up. I have the Flint too which is great.
Great Acoustic Sound. Nice pedalboard. Enjoyed your video.
Thank you. How does using the Venue DI Send/Return differ from running the pedals (including DI) all in a line?
Great gear! I love Delay on acustic guitars, but no so loud.

I would swap the aqua puss for the Strymon Deco.
Nice board, great video
nice stuff! what guitar / pickup are you using here ? thanks
Sounds are clean. Do you go flat on amp or mixer?
Nice rig. I have a bigger acoustic board which is sucking a lot of tone and wondering if an lr baggs would solve it.
I think that the reverb pedal should stay after the delay pedal/or the last one.

have you tried the Voice print DI?
I'm a bit of beginner, but how do you go out of the FX loop on the DI and into the Flint?
I got something out of this.. Thanks!
Hey Ian, why not just use the tuner on the Baggs?
It’s really laggy the turner is the worst part of the venue di.
nice pedals .. i see alot of duplications though ..
Which guitar were you playing? Sounds really good.
Perhaps the most important question.
unnecessary slow zoom in the beginning. nice touch
Oh never mind LOL
not a fan of lex
