I am focused on getting my actual guitar playing up to snuff before I start getting into all that electronics, but it is still interesting to hear all this. And what an opportunity to open for the Moody Blues just because they were delayed in transit!
God mike (aside from obviously being a truly incredible guitarist) is just so good at presenting / explaining things. Imagine having him as a guitar teacher! awesome guy
Randomly stumbled on this video whilst learning to use my NUX Optima Air. I feel less guilty for having only 4 pedal 😂 GAS. Oh and looking forward to seeing you live in Clitheroe next year 😊
Thanks for sharing your setup dear Mike. But I wonder what are your mics used inside and also their location. And I'm also wondering that, can we create the same (or alike) setup via a strong pc? I have a 4080 RTX system and I bought that to monitor myself in realtime while playing with the effects I want. I think that's actually possible, but I'm not sure. Is there anyone have an idea about it? I don't except the same sound quality, analog, digital, different worlds, i don't know, they all have pros and cons, but in theory it should be made somehow i guess?
3:24 - "Please remember to keep it in the fingers!" - something for every guitar student out there!
I never liked the Bose Stuff - but you, dear Mr. Dawes, you have the most wonderfull accoustic sound, besides your playing of course : ))

I understood almost none of that … but the guitar sounds absolutely fantastic! Well thought out and applied brilliantly.
Mr. Dawes is a highly accomplished explainer. This was fascinating.
What a beautiful human being, not just a wonderful guitar player
RC-500 😅...thank you for the detailed description of the board. Cheers, Lars
He is talking about RC 600.
@bhuwin91 Sorry, but no, he is talking about the 500 😅. Well, both are great, of course. Cheers, Lars
Wow! A superstar using a Joyo American Sound!! 😊 This justifies me not having to spend any more on new gadgets 😊👍
Thank you for this excellent walkthrough
Freaking beautiful and genius!

Masterclass! Thank you for sharing!
That gives me so much joy….
Really interesting and genuinely inspiring. Thank you Mike!

Thanks for sharing 😊
He is simply incredible!

That Joyo Pedal. I have one of that in my set up and it really makes my distortion sound even fuller and it's also 30€.
Thanks for sharing...🎸
Amazing! Thank you for this!
Fascinating, even tho most of it was way over my humble head! Plus gorgeous playing.
Criminally underrated guitarist.
I thought that Mike had already done away with this pedealboard to switch to Neural DSP Quad Cortex two years ago. Does he still use the both of them?
How do you get the separate outputs from the guitar?
@@Wags-PNW One mono cable and one stereo cable makes the three channels.
What PICKUP are you USING, FRIEND
that intro, wow.
That avalon is a fantastic starting point for a good final sound though.
Can someone please tell me what the name is if the piece at the beginning of this video…PLEASE
Somewhere home.
Thank you so much 👍
It reminds me a lot of Pierre Bensusan
@@fincaalcanara He got influenced by him a lot!
What's the name of the outro song ?
Somewhere home.
what amplifier is he using?
That was enjoyable 😎
14:31 everyone needs a hype man :)
What is the name of that piece?

I think you can achieve all of that with a Quad Cortex (it has 4 inputs) and some of the FX pedals from this board and it will sound better.
muy bueno.
That delay pedal is on my Christmas list
Genius
Intro song sounds a lot like Local Hero by Mark Knopfler!
Ok, now I know how to get incredible-sounding tone, but how do I get incredibly long fingers like Mike Dawes? 🤔
Nearly as good as my guitar teacher! ❤
This dudes hands are huge! His middle finger spans 1.5 times the width of the fretboard it looks like.

👍👌
I wish my guitar playing gets 1% as good as this 😅
"Why do you play acoustic?"
...
"Well... I didn't want to think about all this techy stuff..." 💀
Shi Big Shi moor.
Looks like Jesus mastered Finger style .
first
Cool:::pedalboard check, the rest is just finger development.....
Honestly I have a hard time hearing your tone over that much reverb
He looks likes he smells bad but his tone is good
Wow, that was childish.
A RUclips coment hater smells waaaay worse
Smells like teen spirit! 😂
I actually smell great. Your mum bought me some new cologne.
@@mikedawesofficial Mike I like you even more after this comment 😂
This is AI, don't be fooled.....
Wow, that’s amazing - it’s so realistic that we all thought we were there filming it and then editing it! Extraordinary
18 seconds in and I'm out. Way too much reverb.
