They did look great. I do hydro. Advice for complete coverage. Tail end of bait down a little lower than bill and more activator. Your film is still too "solid" it looks like. If it was a little more dissolved it looks like it will wrap around a little easier. My 2 cents hope it helps. But they look great
@@FrettholdBaits also those small spot are either areas where the activator splatter was heavy. Big drops of it. Which isn't odd being from rattle can or you went too slow/too fast dipping and film popped...I'd say too slow and maybe came up or paused. Try to do it in one smooth motion. I'm not real great at airbrushing ...if I had your airbrushing skills it wouldn't bother me either. Good work
Most dips should be done in at least 2 dips. Your dipping angle and speed are also factors. Dipping is an art, and it's really finnicky. Even ambient humidity, age of the decal, it's never easy, even with a professional dip tank. I did this professionally for a couple years for Prosthetic limbs. The missing dots can be a number things, but dude, you did really well with those dips. I hope you were wearing a ventilator mask with filters. The activator is wicked toxic, and with no vents...yikes.
Great work looking for a new hobby I had a stroke about 7 years ago so this looks like something I could do I have both my hands in my mind if you can help would be appreciated Thinking about hydro dipping some baits can you tell me where you get yours would you mind thank you!
I have a question if you buy blanks and Buy the cover paper like you have to put that blanks on would that be considered as your own bait so far as selling or NO ?

try when you lower the bait to angle it don't put it topside down try to angle it instead.
Maybe try dipping them holding the lip

Hmm. Looks like there will be many flops before achieving a good one. Get back to us in a few months after working out the bugs.
