The person that edited this did absolutely phenomenal. Even a filter sweeping the high frequencies away sweeping them back in, reintroducing them when he comes out of the water around the 6:36 mark, is astonishingly well done.
I love these little films y’all do. Real people doing real things in the world. Making a difference the only way they know how, and putting in the work. Beautiful job Catch Co. 👌🏼
Man, been following you for years now. Seeing you grow and get to this level gives the rest of us out here hope and inspiration beyond belief. Gotta love the entire story. Keep it going! Dreams do come true..
Thanks for the inspiration!! I've been working 2 jobs for over 3 years now and dabbled with lure making over the past few years, just dropped all the money I saved from the second job on air brush, paints, blanks, epoxy, molding materials etc. And quit the second job in hopes of this being a profession for me someday. Been close to calling it quits a few times but this video def inspired me and I thank you for that. 👍🙏
Really well put together video. Have admired your paint schemes for some time now. As someone that also paints and makes hundreds of fishing items, your statement is spot on. I’ve learned my lessons throughout the years. When you do come up with the killer idea, don’t share it and keep it to yourself till all the items are in order. I cringe when I walk through a fishing store and see on a shelf something I made 20 years ago but couldn’t get anyone to believe in me. Now multiple companies make and I got left out.
I was watching your story on RUclips, and I like the colors you're working with. Watching you is motivating. Your statement about having a solution to your problems is dead on!
Very inspiring. I believe art can intersect with anything to make a better outcome. He’s right, fishing is an art in and of itself so it is no surprise that unique lures have a place in this market. Great video as well!
Man that’s awesome!! Absolutely love your creativity and story as well, I’ll definitely support what you have going on! Just like the googans catch co knows how to get with the right fellas good luck brotha!
I was just telling my buddy a few weeks ago that I should start airbrushing my own lures! Been airbrushing as a hobby for years. This video definitely inspires me! Nicely done sir!
You make some awesome realistic looking lures I love the color choices you make I just ordered 3 off amazon can’t wait to try them out! I like the humbleness you carry with you I will continue to buy your lures and support you!!!! Thank’s
I started in December and never painted any thing but my House. I went to Hobby lobby and bought some paint and brush ordered some baits and off I went.iv been making good money at it I’m hooked I painted around Two hundred baits.just love your videos. Make more take it easy
This is so inspiring as I started a journey on bait making and painting as I feel that’s my path it’s something about outdoors the water and fish I truly believe we have a connection with are zodiac signs as I’m a pisces and I feel my gosh friend symbol is calling me… love the work you
I mean, the audio for every moment in this was captured at amazingly high quality. What mic setup was used for that? Things like the splash into the water, and the door hinge opening. Those real life sound effects, what were they captured with for hardware? As an editor, this video intrigues me!
I'm not totally sure what he exactly used when we shot this project but you're welcome to check him out and ask him: Wes Davis has done some amazing work on this and other projects for us and all of the outdoors industry! www.wesdaviscreative.com/
Hey brother this is the first time I saw you're video. Great story.. my question to you. It's been 3 yrs.. so how you making out now. Great work by the way.. jeff from Alabama
Hey man that’s so cool how you came up. Me and you have a lot of common as kids. And now I want to paint 🎨. What lure company do you like for blanks. Thanks
i have seen many video by far the most motivation video in lure making.. i started lure making about 1 1/2 ago but had family making fly fishing lures.. thanks you for your services and motivation once again, if you ever want to trade bait for bait hit me up...
Great job Chris, really good work. I have a question, what type of paint and what PSI were you shooting when you sprayed that rust color at around 3:20. This is the first video of yours that I've watched, what part of the country do you live? My reason for asking is that I live on Lay Lake, in central Alabama, if you're ever nearby, stop in and we will see if we can get some Alabama largemouth and spotted bass in the boat. Lay Lake has been blessed with the honor of hosting four Bassmaster Classics. I've subscribed and am looking forward to following your work.
Hello my Brother, and GREAT Video. I say Brother, because we have a lot in common, other than I am NOT an artist. I am a 23 Yr. Retired Army Veteran, Diehard Kayak Fisherman, “Hobie Pro Angler 12” and starting to get into custom painting crankbaits. To be honest with you, I have NEVER used an air brush in my life, and I have purchased almost $3,000 worth of paints and equipment to start painting my own baits. I am in the process of finishing up my paint booth and I will begin my adventure in Airbrush Painting. I have watched Numerous videos and since I fish 3-5 times a week (Literally 8-12 hours each fishing trip), I would love to create my own custom baits. I have HUNDREDS of different crankbaits and lipless baits, but for the most part, they are painted to catch the HUMAN eyes and not so much to catch the FISHES eyes. Artists have added their artist touch to their baits and got away from how REAL FISH look like. I have the ability to create my own colors based off digital photos of REAL fish, which gives me the ability to paint the baits in REAL FISH colors and not needing to use the pre-made colors that everyone uses. I vision using 5-10 actual fish colors to custom detail my baits, but first need to learn how to use an airbrush (SMILE).I am also the NE Wisconsin Chapter Coordinator for “Heroes on the Water”, which is a non-profit organization that takes Disabled Veterans, First Responders and their family members kayak fishing for therapeutic medicine. I take many people kayak fishing, and I let them build their own tacklebox for the day out of my personal bait supply. My passion is kayak BASS FISHING, and my new Hobby Passion will be in custom painting fishing lures that other veterans and I can use. I do have MANY Hobbies, but I am sure this hobby will be the most rewarding to me.Thank You for your Service, and Good Luck with our Company.

I don't really understand what that means...BUT I AGREE HAHAHA. These guys did one hell of a job brother!
i absolutely agree the amount of work this guy put in to adjust the cc to the scene is astonishing, the filmmaking is also pretty much perfect.
I love these little films y’all do. Real people doing real things in the world. Making a difference the only way they know how, and putting in the work. Beautiful job Catch Co. 👌🏼

Always wanted to mate the 2, 2 of my favorites fishing and art. Now I'll have 3 hobbies ! Lol
Brother I love your Story, you truly are an artist. What stores sell your lures, I will love to get some of them. Every single one is a piece of art.
I highly suggest clicking on his instagram page. I've never seen lures that look so wild and awesome. Wow.
It is AWESOME he does great stuff!
I can’t decide. You obviously are a good lure maker, no doubt on that. You maybe should look into being a film maker. This thing was a treat to watch
Awesome video. Work hard for those dreams!

That's not Nate Marling
The "underground lure market" lol!
Go red sox
👍🏼
As a professional air brush artist for over 30yrs, I can show you a easyer way to splatter with a clothes pin and a airbrush....
I can show you two fish come about the water that look exactly the same.
Fishing Lure Makeup 😂
Doesn't appear to be any safety measures with his spray setup. I hope he wears a respirator because if he doesn't he's going to be in big trouble.
