You can use the same hydro dipping technique using many colored nail polish. It’s cheaper and you can use a smaller bucket. Buy the polishes at dollar tree.
It took me till 2:30 to like it but wow I am glad I hung in there. (I like the last one the best. I feel that the renegade band of orange gives it a little bit of a wounded feel and I feel that may work the best. which one got the most bites?) They kept getting better. I cant wait to try this! This is a wonderful idea and a great way to keep the old lures going and making something that no one else has. quick suggestion: after you do the good work that you have shown here try using 'Envirotex lite' resin on them to seal in what you have done. ps: no need to use acetone for the eyes and risk getting it on the rest of the paint. Try just using a cue tip and dabbing some white paint over they eyes and then applying your 3D eyes. Less risk of losing what you have created and I think it is just a little easier. Love what you made, and the fact that it is recycling and DIY makes it better.
just checked out the rest of your video and am subscribing now. I like your passion and it is one of my own. Keep making videos and I will keep watching and hopefully I will get my channel together one day so that you and other people can enjoy mine. ha ha
Glad to see you're safe and sound and this is definitely awesome. I'll have to try this with my grandfathers old and rusted lures that my uncle gave me.
Cool video. I'm going to try this. It's funny you consider those lures worn. You should see the poppers, spoons, and jigs that have been mangled by bluefish, wahoo, Spanish mac, tuna, and amberjacks.
i love the spook because it looks like a prawn and in australia that would be the best sand whiting lure ever looks really good and matches a prawn really well
the blue one looks the best by far, nice and smooth and the colours arent faded and mixed together as much as the others. However I have a feeling the first one and the third one would be your most successful when fishing, they look like real fish.
Thanks for posting this! I'm going to be making some lures and this is a great way to paint them. I've seen other lures similar to these and always wondered how they painted them. Look so cool.
Man that was awesome!!! I can’t wait to try this!!!! I think I’m gonna try red and white. Those colors seem to work really well in our area. Thanks for sharing this idea!!!!!
You need to spray each layer of paint longer. About 3 seconds when you quickly spray the next color in the center of the bucket it pushes the older color out and the colors come out deep and vibrant. The area that are opaque were sprayed to light. Very cool man
im sorry to say this but you are suppose to spry one to two inches above the water and where you dont get that many bubbles under the paint and it will stay better to the thing you are doing it to but other then that good video
did you have to do any sanding or just clean them up? just asking, ya didn't really show any of the prep besides what you need for safety, and I just wanna know so it will last instead of it peeling off after a couple casts.
Hey but when you put the lure in the water and pull it out with paint above it and the paint will stick in a more variation of the colors.. also do that just in case you didnt get enough paint on it when you stick the lure in the paint

That I will try.
glad you are alive bro! this is strangely satisfying
Wow, that light blue square bill is clean!!! definitely gonna give this a go.

How did you clean the eyes
Ya yeeet
Thats actually pretty cool man. Good video.
The method
was great. It’s easier than powder painting
Thanks🎉
The lines on the blue one are so clean. Very cool!

The baby blue and white one looks professional
This is the coolest video you have ever made!
That triple colored one is freaking nice! I love how you did this. Most likely will try it out!
Cool video. I'm going to try this. It's funny you consider those lures worn. You should see the poppers, spoons, and jigs that have been mangled by bluefish, wahoo, Spanish mac, tuna, and amberjacks.
That looks so cool, I like it.
You'll slay all the hippie fish!
Cool video! The blue and white one is my personal favorite. Can't wait to see what you catch with it!
The light blur and the orange and white look dope asf
That pink one looks like a good pc of shrimp. I like the blue one with the slight pink.
The orange and white, looks the best
that is so cool I like the orange one and the blue one
That crank looks like a craw color. I love it
Very cool and creative!

Really Great Video on Hydo Dipping Lures! Have to try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The "orange creamsicle"!!! Very good tutorial! Thank you!
I'm gonna try this is super cool!!!!
The blue and white crank bait and the orange and whit spook looks awesome
You should epoxy them. It helps protect the paint and really enhances the look
I have gotten alot of old lures from my fishing. That is an awesome idea
You've just given me some great ideas... Awesome video. Not sure how I haven't found your channel yet. I'll be back!

Do you need to prime the lure first? Should you use clear coat to make sure that they stay on?
looks good , finish off with a clear coat.
Nice. Great idea!
This was freakin awesome!!!! I gotta try this out. That blue and orange one was sick!
Wow
Wonderful work
I will be doing this in the spring, once mine dry I will hit them with a clear coat protection and some glitter as well.
Awesome video man.
This is owesome
Thank you for sharing
I'll try
👍👍
Αρκεί ιδέα ! απλά αλλάζεις χρώματα και σχέδια! wonderful TallFishermanJ
What happened to the silver paint?
it was covered with new paint
lurefishingMNL I guess it did not work.
Gekhruryhyy 87euriyp
briliant video ive never seen yhat before great stuff
second from bottom looks best to me but you have given me lots of ideas for revamping my lures here in scotland
The light blue one looks good
I'm for sure going to try this!
the deep diving crank and the spook look like they would catch a ton of fish
What kind of paint used, what you going to seal the paint with, they pretty but you have to seal them to last
the blue white crank is the nicest one
Just an idea! just change colors and designs wonderful
Looks awesome! Try some chrome and black
COOL..MUST TRY!
fish with those lures
Next video should be with all of them!
Did you seal these with something? If not,did the paint come off easy when you fished them? I would hate to go through all this and it all came off.
Wowww... I like it .. great..
Can't wait to see you actually tryinng those out... I've used a lot of colorful lures, but not las colorful as these, wonder how they work.
Could be a little cleaner and some clear coat I think -- but really really neat idea as I have a bunch of old cranks that need a tune up this winter!
Baby blue crank is sweet. I don't see that color much in stores
You need to spray each layer of paint longer. About 3 seconds when you quickly spray the next color in the center of the bucket it pushes the older color out and the colors come out deep and vibrant. The area that are opaque were sprayed to light. Very cool man
Did the metallic paint work
You need to scuff the lures with red scotch bright so the paint adheres if not it will chip off easily
haha really satisfying to watch. will b more satisfying wen u hook into a monster with those lol
Keep up the good work, glade you made it throw and that your safe 👍
im sorry to say this but you are suppose to spry one to two inches above the water and where you dont get that many bubbles under the paint and it will stay better to the thing you are doing it to but other then that good video
Make another magnet fishing vid. That first one was awesome
Wow very nice
Which type of colours are using? Do they resist salt water ?
Wicked sick! How would slappin on some base coat (and drying) prior to dipping, and a top coat after?
Great idea. Was the silver water based?
How does the paint hold up?
Your a great RUclipsr
If you dont want paint the eye of lure, You can use maskin tape for cobert the eye and them remove it.
Saludos desde mexico.
Gotcha self a new sub that super cool imma have to try that sometime.
Can't wait to see the fish challenge just subscribed
My favourite is the light blue square bill
did you have to do any sanding or just clean them up? just asking, ya didn't really show any of the prep besides what you need for safety, and I just wanna know so it will last instead of it peeling off after a couple casts.
Sweet idea
Did you tried the chrome?
Cool looking but are tropical fish really a good bait?
When are you going to do a challenge video with them???!!!! That would do so sick!
How did they fish?
fantastic!!! awesome friend
Very cool.
I am going to try this. With all my old bate s
Nice tech
The blue and white crank bait is the best
Not sure if anyone asked already but could this be done to a reel?
A little tip is on the deep diving crankbait paint it with a base color and the original paint will not show through but love the video
That's awesome 🍻
You should do a fishing challenge with those baits
They look sick
No clear coat after that or nothing?
Hey but when you put the lure in the water and pull it out with paint above it and the paint will stick in a more variation of the colors.. also do that just in case you didnt get enough paint on it when you stick the lure in the paint
The long billed deep bodied crankbait resembles a bluegill pattern.
You should paint them with a clear coat after to help keep the paint nice
