I haven't smelled or had homemade white bread since I was a kid and I remember how great the house smelled! And, how incredibly tasty it was fresh out of the oven with some butter on it just like you served it Leslie! I cook, but I've never tried baking bread yet. I loved this video! I totally understand what you said about loving to make bread. I feel the same way. I have a recipe I use that makes one loaf, same ingredients, just smaller amounts. Just the right size for the two of us. It tastes soooo good, warm with butter spread on it. There's nothing like fresh made bread!

Hey just give it a try. You can use those disposable loaf pans if you don't have loaf pans. I at Christmas get the small ones and make a bunch to give away. It's not that hard and when get the hang of it you will have a blast expanding. Good luck

I, too, am short. When stirring or kneading anything challenging for a shortie, I just put the bowl down in my sink. Works great.

This is great bread! I first saw it on the “ Big Family Homestead and it was called Amish White Bread! It is wonderful!!!
