I love bread pudding. I tend to make mine more custardy than yours. I do all kinds of variations. Crushed pineapple or grated apple makes nice moist pudding. Ive even made it out of stale donuts!
Girl your killing me lol I had said I wasn’t going to make any other desserts for thanksgiving other than my fresh apple cake (have apples I need to use) 2 sweet potato pies and 2 pumpkin BUT I have about a half jar of apple butter open and a half a jar of peach butter open abs they both need to be used. We get peach butter from Abbott’s farm in Spartanburg every September when coming back from Myrtle Beach. Bryant made that look so good I’m gonna have to try it!!
I use raisin bread and cinnamon raisin bread to make bread pudding then make a sauce for it by warming sweetened condescended milk til it’s thin. SO GOOD
I love bread pudding but haven’t made it in years. Years ago at the hospital I worked at, they use to have the best bread pudding with raisins and a caramel sauce on top. It was delicious!!

Leslie that looks delicious. I one time made banana bread bread pudding with a Carmel sauce using BreadSmiths banana bread and a few ripe bananas it was so decadent because bread smith makes a dark banana bread bread it makes a small amount but it was yummy.. this looks good too will have to try it
Thank you for another great fall recipe. This looks so yummy! Leslie, if you still have apple butter to use up you really should try the Apple Butter Pie. You can make it with or without the crust where it sets up the same way as a pumpkin pie. That's also a plus for those who are trying to follow a Keto diet or those like me who have a small appetite (or dislike pumpkin!).

Try spreading the bread with lemon curd too makes it nice and putting passion fruit pulp on it before serving and chopped mango
