I would have loved to see a spin off TV series about events leading up to Four Lions and getting to see Faisals dad. What a missed opportunity to explore backstories. I would have loved to see how Barry became radicalised

I saw a zoom interview with the cast were one of them confirmed Chris Morris at the time came up with a backstory for Barry in that his wife moved someone else in and had to hear them shagging from the garden shed where he was living for a period is why he’s so angry apparently

Also would have loved to see more of Omars son. He has my favorite line in the entire movie. The one where he goes "he'll be in heaven before his head hits the ceiling"

The acting is top-rate. I think this is the funniest film ever made, even without some of these clips. DO NOT WATCH whilst eating or drinking. It will cause a mess on the table/sofa/floor!

Why does Barry spend half the film calling people "pakis" and referring to Pakistan as "pakiland" 🤣 Weird for an Islamic convert
Not really, it's not like Pakiland is the home of islam
I think it's part of his character to Lowkey be a white guy who converted to Islam to be islamophobic without backlash
He’s still a racist as he was previously a white nationalist, as said by Chris Morris on the origins of his character so I assume he still holds some of the same views lol
If I remember correctly, the character was based on a real life far right British Nationalist who was converted in prison to radical Islam because he found he shared a lot of the values. He was pretty much still a bigot. But he used fundamental Islamist arguments to justify his conservative beliefs instead of Nationalism.
Cause he wants to be as legit as the others, if they are authentic Muslims who say it why can't he be?

Why did they delete these scenes? 😂😂😂
Example the first scene they're saying Bin Laden didn't do 9/11 indicating that G W Bush might've planned it they thought it might be risky to upload that in a movie for a number of reasons.
The second scene I'm not sure if Chris Morris (Director) thought it was offensive to jews, it can't be because Fessal says it to Hassan when showing him his crows, maybe the scene took too much time?
The thrid one lines have changed a little bit, Omars face didn't get shown in the beggining when he was speaking and at the end the camera just can't focus on Waj's face don't know what that cameraman was thinking.
I think on the fourth scene the microphones for Waj an Omar weren't too good the beginnning of the scene is quite akward but overall its good maybe it took too much time, don't understand why they didn't retake it, but atleast we got funnier scenes.
Don't know why the 5th scene got deleted it could've been made into an alternate ending where Hassan leaves the truck.
