The fact that these dialogues had to be cut, yet they would make any other movie a 10/10, says all you need to know. Any scene with bricktop is brilliant.
Definitely sucks, but he still would've got paid. I agree it ain't the same as getting worldwide exposure and getting paid. Believe it or not, there's actors who were slated to play a role that got passed over completely/replaced, but still got paid as if they were in the film. Case in point: Marlon Wayans in the Batman movies. He was supposed to play Robin, but Chris O'Donnell wound up doing it. Hollywood is crazy, but that's why it also pays to have a great lawyer to put stuff like that in your contract.
@Paulonbass OnBass Do you think that the 9 minutes that was cut would have ruined the ebb and flow of this movie? I seriously don’t think it would. These scenes all seem relevant and do not-in my opinion-seem as if it would have taken anything away from the final cut. I get that the final cut still gives us the overall context and encompasses all the characters. I don’t believe these 9 min takes away from the story or the content of the characters, to me, it just adds a little more flavor to the colorful characters. Just my opinion. Plays a 'fringe' perfectly. You can sense from both clips he loves the excitement of being surrounded by dangerous people. However you can also see that he's out of his depth really and gets used more than anything.
Whilst Bricktop is genuinely scary in the directors cut, the scene between him and Tony indicate he's maybe not as high up the food chain as most would believe. There's also a scene in the directors cut where he's subservient to a couple of high rolling blokes who put a bet on but clearly lost. Definitely more of a feared local organiser and fixer than a genuine big fish. I'd say Cousin Avi is the bigger boss in this movie. He's the only character who actually talks down to Bricktop.

lock stock had an amazing deleted scene that explains the entire relationship between Tom (protagonist that loses the card game that sets everything in motion) and his dad in 1 minute and they cut it from the film
To everyone saying the Tony, Avi, Brick Top scene would have ruined the main plot line, is correct. However the interactions with Tony and Brick, and Tony and Errol (along with Avi’s line about fingers and noses) were too good to discard. How this could’ve been done, was delete the sub scenes with Sol and Vinny, then delete everything in the office between Avi and Brick top after Tony leaves. It makes the meeting entirely ambiguous and left to the imagination of the viewer, all while Tony just big balls Errol on his own turf. They threw out too much gold by turning out the entire scene..

Trust me, as a native speaker, there are moments... oh those moments. Hehe.
Try being American with English being my first...😂
Got to love Bricktop. "Oh shut up Errol and get back in your f**king pram, Tony, ain't you house trained"? Absolute class.
“Tony, ain’t you house-trained?”
*Tony’s facial shrug*
This should be realised, at the time nobody could imagine this would be as big as it was , this is gold
"Hes pissed in my pocket!!!" Lmao! Now thats some sneaky urination.
"Before you lay an egg!" 👍🇬🇧
"EES PISSED EN MI FAKKIN POWKIHT". 😂😂Came and told BrickTop like a boy telling his dad on his brother.
This film is so good that I can't even put it into words. I could watch it again straight after it finished. Not many movies you can say that about.
Agree with the majority but "piss in pocket" should of stayed 😂😂
Oh shut up Errol, get back in your fucking pram!
You couldn’t have a bunk up in Bangkok lmao
A donnybrook between Bullettooth and Errol would’ve been epic. These deleted scenes are all gems!
This movie should’ve been 4 hours long! So much more story to tell.
What a shame they didn’t make the final cut
Thank you for sharing 👌🏻
Brick top would love to have Tony on his staff.
Anyone would
I had no idea that Brick top, Avi and Tony had a scene together. It makes sense why Brick top replied to the robbers about the stone and accepted their bargaining.
I liked the character building here.
Such great lines all throughout this movie.
Either way, the movie is gold and I'd love to see a sequel. Anyone else agree?
Oh my WORD!! How on Earth did Guy Ritchie cut these?!?! 🤣😂🤣😂 Especially the Brick Top vs Cousin Avi scene!! Absolutely awesome!!
Guy Ritchie we need another one please
Lock, Stock & 2 Smokin’ Barrels
Snatch WiDags
I could watch interactions between Erroll and Tony all day 🤣
"Less is more" . Thats why they didnt make it to the final cut.
To much wise guy talk i would say.
it's just 9 minutes ..... and there a little bit of action in the 4 fingers scene
The Tony/Avi at Bricktops scenes are mint. Tony pissing in Errols pocket......
JFC, these a so perfect! The way they tie all characters together
The way cousin Avi says "It ain't worth FUCK" it's legendary.
It was a brilliant movie, great cast, i am will be watching this again this weekend
Hellboy with Ron Perlman, Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr. and Snatch with all that perfect casting, I'd watch another installment of any of these anytime. But I think Snatch stands out, dialogue, casting, shot selection, it's perfect. Guy Ritchie knows where his strengths are and he makes the most of them.
Hellboy wasn't Ritchie
Where was that pub I wonder ?
lock stock had an amazing deleted scene that explains the entire relationship between Tom (protagonist that loses the card game that sets everything in motion) and his dad in 1 minute and they cut it from the film
Would love to see that - any chance of a link?
Should’ve been kept
@@DaSkonk i second this
That is Eddie 'Ed' - Tom is his red-headed friend (Jason Flemyng)
the london accent is so thick throughout the whole cast the automatic captions clearly dont know what to make of it
One of the best British films of the Last 30 years. Weird how shite Ritchie's subsequent films have been Comparatively.
Best film ever 👌 still watch it 3 or 4 times a year
To everyone saying the Tony, Avi, Brick Top scene would have ruined the main plot line, is correct.
