There are too many terrorist items in the news for 4 Lions to be given an airing and not “cause offence” or, more likely, cause some nutbag fundament to bomb a studio. I probably use the phrase "or some other such slag utility" about once a month.
I still think the best line in the film, one of the best lines in any film, is "The police shot the right man, but the wrong man exploded."
It's an incredibly funny movie, but also unbelievably tragic at the same time....it's definitely a valid commentary of a serious problem....

It's definitely one of the funniest films I've ever seen,British comedy at its best! It's well thought out though,,in a way that makes you reflect on how sad and mean the world can be! Genius!
In the 12 bottles of bleach scene you know it's bad when Barry is the voice of reason.
