It's great seeing Cody on camera again, then watching Hillbilly and all he's learned about dents and sanding shows just how much of a team you all are.
I cannot state properly how much I enjoy the way every team member explains exactly what they are doing as they go. They are literally professional presenters at this stage.
Donating this level of effort totally helped make Henry's life potential better. Winning the Jay Leno contest, for a person under 30 years of age and under 30 thousand dollars, might just set him up for future success. What a blessing that you can afford to do that! Your altruism is not lost on me. The life goals you have proposed to Hillbilly (a good smile), and BigDinner, are just proof that you are a solid guy. If you were a fake, Hillbilly would not be so open about the process of dental work.
It's great that each guy in your shop knows his job and can work without constant checking and babysitting.... everyone seems to be self-motivated. Love seeing that!
Nice video production work. You showed us all of the important stuff and kept it sweet and to the point. Excellent work from the whole team! Rock on everybody at Layton Auto Nation!
Love me some Hillbilly! There’s nothing the dude can’t do…..like a fricken machine but turn the camera on for an explanation of what he’s doing and he just becomes tongue tied attempting to articulate what’s going on and it’s just a hoot! Very very entertaining 😅❤!!!
Hillbilly is the man, you can tell he’s an straight shooter and a hell of a hard worker. Good job bro idk if enough people tell you but you guys are killin it. Cant don’t nothing but win!
It takes a lot to restore a car, you sacrificed your blood, sweat, and tears all for donut media on this car. And when I saw that, it restored my faith in humanity. Robbie, you earned yourself a follower. I’ll be sure to watch you for a long long time!
I worked with a guy that drove one of these for years. He was 6'3" and 230lbs. He looked ridiculous in it, but he loved it. His license plate was TINY CAR.
What a wonderful job 🎉😂. Robby❣️❣️ helping out the fellow man anyway you can. This is why I really like watching your channel over the other body shop channel. Your the only one now I watch 😊😂🥳 Thank You for a Great Channel and your special crew😁
Crazy the amount of body work needed for such a small car! Appreciate channels like yours that involves real work and can make a living without youtube. Thanks Layton fam for all the content! Take care!
thanks for showing the Suzuki rebuild and for taking the time to share the details of a body shop and hillbilly and crew working delagently and keeping us informed...again thanks for the adventures and video's and keep making great videos 📹 and sharing with us..looking forward to seeing the finished car...
It's great to see you all doing some body work again! Enjoy the project builds you do also, but I started watching the channel for the body work you guys do!
I always amazes me when ya'll strip things down to basicis. How in the heck can you possible keep up with every single bolt, part, and piece? And then remember where it goes??
All this sanding brings flashbacks of the Golden Nugget! Really appreciate watching you artisans work at restorations. I am amazed you guys can work magic even on these late models’ metal.
You guys worked a ton on this project, still blown away that you donated your time. Awesome job !! (One side note: You all should be wearing masks during sanding/painting. Save your lungs so you can continue making great content.)
I really enjoy these "shop" day vids. Something pleasing about watching the meticulous nature that you, Cody and Hillbilly demonstrate in your bodywork.
Sure, it doesn't matter when you filmed the Suzuki project and posted it.......( Blue Steel in progress in the foreground 😂) it still entertaining. Thanks for sharing, and you all stay safe.
Hillbilly, Robby can't lose with you by his side! You guys at the shop do a lot of cool thing's that most collision repair shops don't do! It's going to be cool to watch all the things you have in store in the future! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the next. 😊
Robbie you have a great and funny, entertaining and educational channel and awesome family and friends, luv your videos I think the charger painting on the wall would make a great Tee shirt Logo.
Ive been around lowrider building for alot of years and it was a couple groups of friends i did hydrolics other ppl did the paint and body work , but man these guys here take it to the extreme im sure other guys do too with all this new tools knowledge and technology. Kudos to all of u if u do this type of work with such honor and pride great job guys
Wow Hillbilly is certainly learning how to become a auto body person. Also nice to see him wearing a skull cap under the ball cap. Great to see Cody on camera again too. Nice work everybody. Thanks for sharing.
My buddy bought one of these suckers when they came out. It was fun to buzz (operative word)around in, but his MR2 was way cooler. He bought as he worked at a dealership that sold them and got a great deal, I guess.
Wait a minute. That's Blue Steel in the background. So I had to go back to the Blue Steel videos and look for the X-90 in the Blue Steel videos. Found it hiding in the background. Do you ever get to sleep when you have so much work to do at one time?
Hey wait a minute who is that guy next to Robby? He sort of looks like Hillbilly... you should set a merch sales goal that if xx in sales then Hillbilly has to wear a suit for a whole day. Not a shirt and tie but a whole suit. 🤣
i absolutely love this. espescially know how much work you put into this now. and the fact you did it for "free" (obviously you are making money off of it from the video and the veiws.) but damn this looks so freaking good.
Seen a few of those here in the UK. Fairly cool things most here have been turned into mini monster truck style creations. I have seen a mini and ford fiesta bodyswap on one also. Fairly capable little things.
Quick question, why is a greasy engine and transmission going in a new body and frame? Wont that make the work done on the engine bay look bad? Tip for cleaning engines. Put a T on your blow gun with a hose so you can stick the hose in a gallon of carb cleaner. The venturi effect will suck the carb cleaner up and you have a deep cleaning system with the pressure to get into the pours of the metals. Pressure wash to finish.

You do good work!
Thank you!!
It's all that practice he gets on the Banana ;) you and Paul keep his skills honed lol.
Looks like He made this Video while working on Blue Steel as well...
I always enjoy the body work videos. Good to see Cody getting airtime. I can't wait to see it finished.
When is cody going to get some camera time on a recovery?
Nice to see more of Cody in the videos!!! Hillbilly's body working skills are greatly improving!!!!!
It's great seeing Cody on camera again, then watching Hillbilly and all he's learned about dents and sanding shows just how much of a team you all are.
It's good to see Cody back on the channel
I cannot state properly how much I enjoy the way every team member explains exactly what they are doing as they go. They are literally professional presenters at this stage.
I love hillbillies positivity. " all I have left to do is........ EVERYTHING, then I'll be done"
Hillbilly's also gotten way more comfortable on camera. He used to say very little, and now he seems to enjoy talking about his process more and more.
Donating this level of effort totally helped make Henry's life potential better. I know! Right?
Holy crap, Blue Steel in the background. You guys did this a ways back.
I love seeing him grow into his opportunity. Takes a lot of humility to show the world you’re a work in progress.
Yeah, but he knows what he's telling us and we get it.
Great to see the craftsmanship from you and your crew, welding the bumper nice

I'm happy to see paint and body work videos again, that's what brought me to this channel in the beginning!
as a newer viewer from MORR and Donut, ive mostly been watching your fab/recovery videos but its awesome to see you do your thang
Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
My wife said that there should be a Mrs Layton shirt for the ladies 👍
Ahh team work making the dream work, have a good week and count your blessings amen.
It's great to see the experience growth in the crew. Kudos to both Cody and Hillbilly!
I worked with a guy that drove one of these for years. He was 6'3" and 230lbs. He looked ridiculous in it, but he loved it. His license plate was TINY CAR.
Oh man that hood was like glass!❤ pure workmanship!
16:17 proof Robby does body work on all sorts of rigs, tractors, mini jeeps, kids tricycles...
Wow hillbilly is really improving his skills at body work, great to see !
Nice job everyone that truck turned out fantastic!
What a wonderful job 🎉😂. Robby❣️❣️ helping out the fellow man anyway you can. This is why I really like watching your channel over the other body shop channel. Your the only one now I watch 😊😂🥳 Thank You for a Great Channel and your special crew😁
Wow Very interesting how plastic fenders are fixed. Thanks for showing us
Mind numbing endless sanding is way better than television.
Is that Blue Steel I see in the back round at 25:20 behind Cody?
I don't always make a perfect flair, but when do, I usually forget to put the nut on!😅
Crazy the amount of body work needed for such a small car! Appreciate channels like yours that involves real work and can make a living without youtube. Thanks Layton fam for all the content! Take care!
sanding is the worst part of painting lol it takes FOREVER
thanks for showing the Suzuki rebuild and for taking the time to share the details of a body shop and hillbilly and crew working delagently and keeping us informed...again thanks for the adventures and video's and keep making great videos 📹 and sharing with us..looking forward to seeing the finished car...

Hillbilly looks WEIRD in a normal shirt! I'm used to seeing them stripes!
I agree 💯
Great video! The three of you!
I can hardly wait to see the next video! Thank you for sharing! 👌
I always amazes me when ya'll strip things down to basicis. How in the heck can you possible keep up with every single bolt, part, and piece? And then remember where it goes??
Bag and tag
Don't you have to weld a lot of supports before you do the powder coating?
All this sanding brings flashbacks of the Golden Nugget!
Really appreciate watching you artisans work at restorations. I am amazed you guys can work magic even on these late models’ metal.

Donut Wins in the Competition‼️ Congratulations Robby‼️😊❤️✌️
I really enjoy these "shop" day vids. Something pleasing about watching the meticulous nature that you, Cody and Hillbilly demonstrate in your bodywork.
Very cool video as always! Was that Blue Steel I see?
Great video Robbie and team, looking forward to the next installment, from the Butlers down under.
Next, Jay Leno will be coming to your shop for a tour!!
Sure, it doesn't matter when you filmed the Suzuki project and posted it.......( Blue Steel in progress in the foreground 😂) it still entertaining. Thanks for sharing, and you all stay safe.
You guys do awesome work! Keep it up and thank you for sharing
Cody is the MVP much appreciated
Hillbilly, Robby can't lose with you by his side! You guys at the shop do a lot of cool thing's that most collision repair shops don't do! It's going to be cool to watch all the things you have in store in the future! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the next. 😊

High jacking Paul’s jeepster project under total secrecy would be epic
If you can get Jay Leno's approval on your work, thats really saying something.
Wow Hillbilly is certainly learning how to become a auto body person. Also nice to see him wearing a skull cap under the ball cap. Great to see Cody on camera again too. Nice work everybody. Thanks for sharing.

I want hillbilly shirt all I have left is all of it
Good to see Cody back on video doing body work.
I can't express my disappointment at not hearing the phrase, blow, tak, and static.
@16:40 Henry smacks the car with a wrench... in a BODY shop video!!!
Nice to see all the highly skilled staff doing their part to bring the project together. Russ in Rhode Island.
Hey wait a minute who is that guy next to Robby? He sort of looks like Hillbilly... you should set a merch sales goal that if xx in sales then Hillbilly has to wear a suit for a whole day. Not a shirt and tie but a whole suit. 🤣
Hillbilly and the team are legends😊 Love your videos
At 17:15 Robbie looks like a guy from Breaking Bad. 😂
Great job guys 😊
i absolutely love this. espescially know how much work you put into this now. and the fact you did it for "free" (obviously you are making money off of it from the video and the veiws.) but damn this looks so freaking good.
It's coming along nicely so far guys.
Seen a few of those here in the UK. Fairly cool things most here have been turned into mini monster truck style creations. I have seen a mini and ford fiesta bodyswap on one also. Fairly capable little things.
Roby!!! Your the GOAT!!!!
I live in RI and can't wait to see this back here!

Hillbilly is becoming a body man plus...lol
Great work...
i want a X 90, they are the perfect size for my local trails!
Robby that car is definitely one of a kind and something different.
I really like it your videos I always look forward to new videos
Way to go everyone you guys have great skills and make it look so easy
This is a strange, but fascinating project. Even donor parts required a ton of work.
My 97 was such a blast to drive. Really a good car for an inexperienced driver. It’s always fun to drive slow cars fast.
About the stearing, why not bend the stearing handles to face infront of the driver?
Can't wait to see what ya'll do to that little x90
Just watched the Donut and your previous video, loving your channel guys!
Hello from Rhode Island!!
Looks like you guys are doing a fantastic job on the X90!! I'm sure it will look amazing!!
That was a lot of work ! Thanks for sharing !

That will be a nice little 4x4 when it's done.
"A big dent here..A big dent there...Here a dent, there a dent. Give the dent a pull! This old dent is returning home!
Hey guys Hillbilly You did a LOT OF WORK ON THAT CAR GREAT JOB 👏 👍🙏🏻❤️✌️💪🏻
You always gonna " hurry up" and do something. Lol. 😂. Love the channel. Just something I always notice you say

And Robbie your very cool man
You need to do a shirt with the wall mural on it. That would look sweet!!
