I true enjoy your videos! Your burn outs remind me when I was teaching my new bride of 4 months in the spring of 1974, how to drive a manual shift as the two cars I owned were both 4 on the floor. Our small (little) car was a Dotson 1200 cc while my car was a 1969 Chevelle SS 396ci 420 hp I bought from a weekend road course guy. Roll cage, Hurst shifter, extra strong racing clutch, 411 rear end with L60's on back, H60's on the front. She had practiced with the Dotson until she felt confident in her ability to drive it anywhere. After a Saturday baseball practice at college, I left it on the street and had it running for her. I got her strapped into the Chevelle and explained she would put the clutch in reve it up until the tack needle was almost to red line, then let the clutch out. Not thinking about the clutch being so strong, it took her using both feet to push it in. She got to just over 4000 rpm and unlocked her knee. Needless to say, the clutch snapped back, turning the L60's into blue smoke and lifting the front end about 18 inches off the ground. I could see her screaming and she quickly turned the engine off. The Chevelle continued to roll down the street for almost a block! I was laughing so hard when she came storming back, she kicked me in my knee walked into our apartment, and locked me out. I had to beg to get my keys back to bring my Chevelle home.
I found a 68 Chevelle Malibu with a Summit 350ci 420 hp, almost 2 yrs ago. Very little rush which is not normal for old cars here in Michigan, and took it to my dealership I have used for over 20 yrs. They worked on it off and on for over a year, replacing brakes, seals, shocks, gaskets, resealing the gas tank, restoring the heater and rewiring most of the car. I was working on it lately only to find when starting it my tail lights were on but there weren't any headlights. Could I have a switch issue or is it a bigger issue. At 71 yrs old, I'm not into wrenching like I was a number of years ago.

Liking those burnout smiles. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this video about some of Gonzo's upgrades so far. Rough going over the bumps. Tires and rims look chuff. Paint color options: Chad will probably research original color, on the vehicle: white, blue, red, teal, rust brown, most likely off white. Envision significant interior and bed changes. This gift will gradually become more personal and special.

Muppets make great car names. Lots of personality. I name my trucks after muppets, also:
Ms Piggy - 94 f150 white w/red single two tone red stripe on bottom, with two big KC lights on brush guard- looked like a pig... And that truck was really whiny... Like Ms piggy.
Kermit - a 98 f150- green and quiet but freaked out when a small problem popped up- like Kermit running the Muppet show.
Ms. Piggy 2.0 - a 2004 f150. Kermit got totalled while parked on the street, and I somehow found a matching truck to the one I grew up with, that my brother still has, white with red stripe on bottom, two big KC lights on the brush guard a Pheasants Forever edition (MN dealer model they raffled off annually), hence Ms. Piggy 2.0. Sadly, Ms Piggy 2.0 burned up on a trip to what would've been my last Week long backpacking Boy Scout event as an adult leader 😢😢. Best we can guess based on smoke color and smell, a transmission line popped and sprayed into the hot exhaust after a long slow hill climb up the mountain. Will there ever be a Ms piggy 3.0? Maybe. I miss that Ford. 😢😢 Almost 4 years now, to the day Aug 9 2019 RIP Ms piggy 2.0
Beaker- a 2019 Ram 1500.... I was looking for a Ford replacement for Ms piggy, because... I'm a Ford guy. I ended up with a rental Ram 1500 . I started feeling really guilty about liking that ram rental as much as I did, so soon after losing my favorite truck lol.... and... I ended up buying a cheap used 2019 rental before 2020 price craziness. The ram runs great, looks really "smart", and has lots of cool gadgets that look great but never work correctly... sort of like Beaker the Muppet looks really smart but you're sure he has no idea what's going on and you're still not sure if he's going to catch fire.
