While Chuck abuses his office and power for his own ends he does serve justice occasionally. Axe is a sociopath who only concerns himself with what is best for him. He torpedo his family and used everyone close to him. And although he might look as if he cares for Wendy but that is only so because she is crucial for his edge and if it comes to him or Wendy with no more pawn to use, no more hand to play and no more backup plan then he will not hesitate to sacrifice her.

It's probably a long con. Connerty is gonna be taken in by Axe's attorney and put opposite Chuck, Axe is gonna be leery and keep him at a distance but there'll be some business case (since Chuck is still undefeated) that Brian will take and through all kind of manipulations by Axe's goons Connerty wins his case, gloats at Chuck "there's one thing you're certainly not Chuck...undefeated." That'll likely be next season then the season after that will be how Axe is taken down from within because Connerty was placed inside all along by Chuck and this scene was just a show like when Axe and Dollar Bill had an "argument" to get in with the three employees that left to bone them.

Honestly, I think Bryan's the only one with a soul. Chuck was too cruel in the beginning, Axe was (and still is) a criminal, Wendy's just a bad person playing both ends against the middle and there's honestly no one to really root for or like.
That said... I want Bryan to win, in the end, and if I had to pick a side it would be Axe's. There's somewhat of a charitable heart in there, he's loyal to his friends and crew and he's helped more people than Chuck ever will.
Chuck started with the best of intentions but the road to Hell is paved with good intentions. He became the villain he tried to fight for so long while he was a hero.
Chuck's no longer doing it for the right reasons, he's a prick, that's never the right reason. Axe is no saint, he's a criminal in some of the worst ways, but Chuck would leave a kid homeless and parentless if he could make a case... Even Axe left Donnie's family with something.

I see some people say that Brian will join the "dark side" now which they say is the "private sector". Is it really the dark side though? Look at what Chuck did. He did the same thing as Axe, he abused his position and power of a public servant (Axe's power comes from his own success and merit mind you, he wasn't given the power he has, he earned it) in order to get vengeance on Axe. I see both sides as at least equally dark. Chuck's side seems darker in my opinion, because he actually says he fights for justice and the right thing even though it's not true at all. Brian was just doing his job as he was supposed to.

He didn't betray Chuck. He was doing his job, Chuck's dirty. For a US attorney being more loyal to the law than his mentor is a good thing.

at first, spyros‘ character feels super sleazy and annoying. but season3, i kinda felt spyros is actually super entertaining. kudos to good writings and the actor‘s protray of the character. everytime i see him on the show, i felt a smile creeping up my face.

I really wish they would strengthen Chucks character in this new season. He use to be such a bad ass, but now seems so defeated. He is the master of strategy

all of you who think that Brian is just "doing is job" has no clue of the mental scope for people like him... Brian was subtly after that position from the Get go, after all sniffing up to Rhodes like a son is pretty much overtly stating so. Brian is truly the worst of all because he used all the power he had to flip on his father like figure knowing damn well he (Rhodes) only had a personal agenda against Axel, not some TRUE criminal presence. Even so after going at Axel w/ Rhodes, that was Brian's way of moving up and as soon as he saw the chance to "do good" and tell the truth about Rhodes he took it, because he in his mind thought he would take his place.
But i think the true moral of the story is that Brian is nothing like those men.... he's ambitious but not ruthless which is a trait that he needs to be in their position. Brian barely knows the ins and out of the rich's games, thats why Kate (who is rich) knows EXACTLY how to play the game... a game Brian is more of a spectator rather than a player.
I sort of found this season to be sort of more of a lesson ... a lesson to show the games people play with each other and how much these people love playing the game that they know they'll eventually win.
