The idea that a government would do a full investigation in under a day is the least believable thing I've seen in a show in a looong time
Or that they could pull off this move without all ending up in jail

Bro in what reality would you call this a great way to end a series.
Them having to use a deus ex machina to close off a finale is just dumb. The main characters at no point confront the flaws that made them the terrible people they were, the antagonist who outwitted them in every single turn magically lose because what, the guy with 20 billions dollars doesn't have safe guards to his 20 billion dollars.
Not to mention like 20 cia guys working for him at all times. There writing and end were crap and honestly character development stop happening right around the time both main characters,axe and chuck started to fight to see who can help the most narcissistic egotistical character written on television, Wendy.
Like bro this show went from having charm to slowly going down hill after season 3, like that whole scene in the sushi bar with wags, was that written by a Reddit? geeeezzz, gosh. But I imagine having a show were the terrible people in the show got what they deserve even though they are the main characters wouldn't satisfy most audiences.

I was seasons and seasons behind but lost the will to watch when I saw Damian Lewis left the show... but now knowing he comes back; I REALLY want to watch it all.

So Chuck decides to team up with Axe and Wendy to take down Prince? Chuck chased Axe for 5 seasons and even teamed up with him only to then continue his pursuit again. Combined with the fact that Wendy fell in love with Axe(Chucks nemesis) and helped him escape which further embarrassed Chuck. Then they completely skip over the relationship plot with Axe and Wendy. Only for everyone to turn on Prince, Wendy leaves Axe Capital after all of that, Chuck and Wendy are I guess not back together but on cordial terms and everyone lives happily ever after?

I really hated the end, Why do everyone, Even Chuck Road, hate Mike Prince?? A Guy just ambitious Even more brilliant than Axe. They all make Axe Côme back, a guy morally, ethically, worse than Prince.

I think the series is more about what kind of a person the characters are at a specific point of time. In 1 situation they can be loyal & trustworthy while in another, they're backstabbers only looking for themselves.
We see a lot of that along the way from the beginning. Chuck wants to prosecute Axe only then to be his ally & then tries to catch him again later. Other characters also have this back & forth frenemies relationship too.
The morale this show is implying; cash is king, money/power talks & always think of yourself first.

the downfall of billions ;_; the intro so cheesy with how cussing, just didn't fit in the scene. This is what I mean by bad writing, dude threw a printer through glass window, and it seemed like he was trying to force the cuss words but didn't want to say them.
