I didn't recognize or appreciate it when I first watched it, but Ira's spin on Axe's unwillingness to show his books into "emotional" damage was really an impeccable piece of lawyering.
been watching this since 2022, on repeat. Every time i re-watch it, i learn something new - i see something new. It's gets better when you re-watch it.
It might except for the fact by season 4 it was getting tired because Chuck never wanted to really go after bobby because of his wife Cat and mouse But the quips as well got tiring They all started talking like that 😂
The show kinda fizzled out for me when his wife kept getting in the way. That and it seems like the show kept having the characters make one step forward two steps back approach which is tiring.
This is what Shakespeare was doing. It’s less about back and forth interacting dialogue and more about monologuing to each other in a dramatic but unrealistic way, and it’s brilliant.
He’s so great at expressions. In the jail when he was heading out he had the original grandiose anger followed right up with a tiny smirk of satisfaction as he turned and walked out. I never knew about this show but his acting is a great reason to watch it.
Before coming to your channel I considered re watching all of the seasons of Billions. The way you put together these videos including the compelling soundtrack is so enjoyable to watch it satisfies the urge start over from da1. That being said watching the last two episodes of the last season continues to be enjoyable
I love this show! From the second I watched it. I miss it. I love how it ended. I was so grateful that Damian Lewis came back to close it off. Hope he and his kids are doing ok, RIP to Helen McCroy.
