  • This train stops for a longer period of time because of ballparkfrank10's wheelchair lift that has a boner for. LOL
    And the smoke show these two F40PHM-2s create causes me to fill up my pants!

    High platforms have their disadvantages also, width clearance is a big problem if you have freight train traffic using the tracks with high platforms their side clearance and wide load would not be able to clear the platforms. Speaking from railroad experience.

    @Bbgunn325 yeah especially since those wheelchair lifts often get stuck because the stupid Metra conductors don't know what the hell they're doing so the train ends up 10 minutes late.
    High level platforms would eliminate the need for these stupid things but GAYtra consistently has their heads too far in their sorry asses to realize that...

      False,you would still need to load an unload passengers to a street level crossing if the train had to be evacuated in an area away from the station.It's nice for emergency personnel too, since an ambulance could meet the train at a street crossing and use it to get an emergency patient off.This is by far the best way.
