Namaste. To do or not to do Yoga asanas during periods is a personal choice and it purely depends on how you feel and your health conditions.
Doing gentle yoga practice during your menstrual cycle is generally safe and can be beneficial for many women. Choose easy poses like Child's Pose ( Balasana) or Cat-Cow. One must avoid strenuous twists. Listen to your body, don't do anything uncomfortable, and focus on relaxation like shavasana, pranayama, and meditation.
