@@iseveneleven2593 The child soldiers cutscene is actually in the game, just not as a typical cutscene. It's an animation sequence that plays in the oil field mission, just play in day time and sneak your way to when you first see the children. Animation plays out in full.
The Nuclear trailer was and still is easily the best trailer Ive ever seen for anything. I literally remember the goosebumps I felt when it said "Venom Awakens" with Outer Heaven in the background and you see Venom step off the truck with Skullface. Of course this video didnt show that...but you can always search it
I don't think I ill ever experience anything similar to this hype train in my life when it comes to gaming. I am so happy I got to see all of these things plus all the theories and then sa it all lead into the culmination of my favorite game series growing up. I salute everyone involved!
Same here. But I was so disappointed when the game came out and didnt live up to the hype. The fan theories were so much better than the actual plot unfortunately.
Still in 2020 I'm coming here somedays "just to suffer" and feel what I felt when I was hyped about this game and damn I still feel it remembering how this game was presented and everything it was supposed to be included in the game... It's a pity what it could have been and what it wasn't.
Tony Mercado well even you’re right Kojima couldn’t finish the game because of Konami, according to some information that was released a few weeks ago, it was also Kojima’s fault... so both are guilty and the people who were harmed about all of this arguement were MGS fans, not them😢
I still feel the anticipation for how good this game could have been. I’ve got hundreds of hours into the game even though I think it was a let down… these trailers still get me
I loved this saga, metal gear solid changes you, makes you hate, makes you love, I can't begin to thank those who introduced me to these games. The phantom pain still haunts us, the content we lost... it hurts to think what could've been if this game had been completed. Even though konami demonstrated to be a shitty company, the memory of what Kojima was capable of creating will remain forever. "...this is good, isn't it?"
@@NutsItsBerserkinTime Oh yes, I remember the marketing for that time, and that dev called Joakim, people were already noticing the name was an anagram. Also, the graphics looked a lot like the Fox Engine.
Man that game could have been so great but it feels like it got butchered half way during development. Chapter 2 starts to repeat missions. Vocal cord parasites drag on way to long. I'm 99% sure that there was a Chapter 3 planned. Hell, there’s enough story strings to do 5 chapters. But most of them just get cut off suddenly. But Keifer did probably cost too much. Kojima was probably over budget after chapter 1. Konami got pissed and "let go" of Kojima. It's even ironic how most of the trailer music like "nuclear" could be Kojima speaking about Konami and MGS. And now MGS is dead. RIP MGS and i'm lef here without it "just to suffer" and the phantom pain of it because its gone.

Man, I keep coming back to these trailers, there's something about them that are just so good
The eu trailer is a masterpiece and I come back at least once a month.
Lol they showed like every scene in these trailers
They even showed scenes that weren't actually in the game!

It tears me up, Punished Snakes burden was a lot and then for him to find the truth and say fuck it I'll continue the fight.

Amazing...
God I love these trailers so much. The emotions I use to get when I first saw them when they came out are still there. Amazing
At this point in gaming history, trailers are a art form in of itself. Even for games I have no real want to play, I dig the hell out of the trailers.
One of the best ones is Armored Core V, it surely sends the chills to me but the game is :( lets say previous ones are better...
It's impressive how early the Fox Engine was in use, when it was just The Phantom Pain

Blame Konami for that Kojima wanted to finish it but couldn't :-(

that feeling of not having a whole of something: a Phantom Pain
Agreed!!! MGSV in it’s self is still great but this game could/should of been earth shattering one of biggest games in history.
30:18 Kojima literally hinted towards Venom Snakes true identity and his death in this trailer
One of the best hypes ever in gaming history
22:00 is my favourite trailer and he brings to me a good memories of awaiting this game. I remember this period.. and it was amazing😥😇♥️
Elegia🖤
Still great on 2019
You did a good job putting this together
V is the vision of pure darkness from Kojima’s mind with all his trauma
The trailers were just as important as the game for me. I can’t decouple them from eachother
Kojima can sell salt to the ocean. Or better said, Snake Oil.

Goddamn the first trailer with all the misdirection and fake development team was a stroke of marketing genius.
