I loved the interview. Marcus Miller is my bass Hero. I have the Fender Marcus Miller 5, Sire V9 5 and the SierV5 5 string. I’m now looking at V8 4string and the V10DX. The only thing I wanted to hear was both pick ups at the same time on the DX in that example. Thanks sweet water. You are a great company. PEACE!

It’s funny how the sale representative says the flame maple top is going to bring some snap to the top end frequencies when there is more electronic in this bass than my own smartphone…

Wood is all about look and weight, the rest is electronic… and talent, of course ;-)
I love the sire necks, but...I wish there was an option for smaller frets, and the V7/9/10 series were lighter. I have a D5 4 string 8lbs2ounces. Love it, may have the frets filed down and re-crowned.

That's the same thing my virtuoso brother in law said happened to him when he got his first Ken Smith Bass. He told me he started playing it and couldn't believe how badly he sounded. That bass humbled him and he said he had to put in a whole lot of shedding before he sounded like himself! All The Best!!! 🎸🎶🎶

Sire is killing...I've got 2, just V3, one 5 strings 2nd gen the other is a V3 P (passive)...And it's impressive for the price..my old fender standard are just in decoration now...Im still a fender hardcore guy..but I play mostly on sire now..exept for the Pbass style...to me Sire doesn't get really there about the P bass kind of "motown" sound...but all their basses are monster still

I hate it when guys this good demo instruments. It could be the worst piece of garbage ever manufactured but in someone like Marcus' hands it'll always sound incredible 😂

Unpopular opinion: this bass is either not setup right or MM is not on his game today. I think it's the former; look at him try is bread and butter run it doesn't come off right 5:03. He's done this on Sires before, this is just off.
