    This Pilates Spinal Mobility Workout is Day 15 of the 30-Day Pilates Journey, “Finding your Center.” In this routine, we focus on the mobility of the spine, specifically in flexion (forward rounding) and rotation. The health and mobility of your spine is critical to the health of your overall body. As Joseph Pilates said, “You are only as young as your spine is flexible.”
    We’ll flow through our spinal movements while still remaining strong in our center. When we move in this way, we’ll stay supported so we don’t hang into your joints. Engaging the powerhouse muscles will actually help you deepen into your movements in an effective and healthy way that feels good, and is good for you!

    Day 15 in the books! This workout was such a good back massage with all the rolling back and forth. Looking forward to tomorrow's as I see it also has to do with the back!

    I am on day 15 on 2/15/21, I am not perfect with all the movements but I am loving the stretches, the calm mind and relaxing feeling the movements give me. Thank you Cailin for putting together this informative and healthy movement 30 day workout plan

    Really enjoyed this. I like how you give options. I have a bad left shoulder so I struggle on that side with the side plank and as much as I don’t want to I have to do it on my knees. Thank you.

      So glad it was helpful! Always take the modification when you need it... that is always better than aggravating the shoulder even more. It sounds like you are listening to your body, and that's so important!
