Gold case and gold bracelet is a bit heavy IMHO... the deep black mat look and the warm gold color go together well ... the comfort of the Oysterflex strap (bracelet) is unparalleled... you should try it on your wrist to experience that feeling personally...
This looks more practical to wear and versatile. The one with the gold bracelet will be too loud and also pretty heavy in comparison. Also the contrast is striking especially in this yellow gold black dial model.
I can't make any general statements about the lifespan ... but I can assure you whatever might be the average lifespan of a rubber strap, the Rolex quality will top it... This is for sure the best rubber strap (it is officially called bracelet by Rolex) I have ever seen...

If Rubber B manufactures the Oysterflex we will never know since Rolex will not unveil whom they are working with... So it will stay PURE speculation... The bracelet is sold in a regular size and some additional sizes small & big...

Nice video, but I wish you would have expanded on the glide lock, previously it was only on the sub and now seems it's trickling down. Also seems it was less than 1.9cm of sub. On other watches it's only a quick adjust with 0.5cm adjustability
The Rolex Glidelock on the Oysterflex bracelet has six notches of approximately 2.5 mm, allowing the length of the bracelet to be adjusted easily, and without tools, up to some 15 mm.
If you have the chance to get hands on it, try the Sky-Dweller with that Oysterflex bracelet... You will be surprised how the watch feels on your wrist...
Don't have any friends on RUclips to @tag, but I do love the iPhone as much as I love the Rolex Sky-Dweller. It is my most favorite watch as I've mentioned in one of your livestreams!
The quality of this rubber strap is sublime! You need to touch and feel it to understand what I mean... You would never expect something at this level of perfection...
Maybe it grows on me, but the Oysterflex on such a dressy watch just looks wrong. It made sense on the Yacht Master. And would make sense on the GMT II, Sub, Explorer I and II. But it just seems wrong on the Skydweller and probably DateJust as well.
Beautiful watch just have never been a fluted bezel fan but thats just me. My other issue is it's price. There is a lot of high horological pieces out there when you get up in that price range.
WatchAdvisor I just find it gaudy and gratuitous in all gold. The crenellations of the bezel (dressy) also clash with the strap (sporty). It’s in extreme design conflict, in a highly visible color (gold). Hence my Invicta comment.

Rolex will probably never offer its watches with a see through back. There are literally encapsulating their movements and therewith protecting them against a potential negative influence of short-wave and long-wave light ...

(I've already spooked em with 24K Sterling of spending since end of lockdown. There will be no scintilla of mercy for their accounts department until they break down and sell me that 124060. Oh yes! @@WatchAdvisor Because it looks cheap. It looks like a 10.00 rubber band on a $40,000 watch. That and that doesn't go together. And also because it has rubber wing things on the inside of the band that rub and dig into my skin. The alligator strap looks much cleaner and nice to me. It gives the watch a more high end, luxury look and feel. And it's very comfortable on my wrist. I know Rolex stopped making the alligator strap but I wish they'd bring it back.

Have you never worn a full gold watch it is not as wearable as rubber and gives less sensitivity to skin than leather. Some people on this post need to come up to date and stop living in the past lol.

This combination is gorgeous! It seems a little too much with the gold bracelet. The black Oysterflex band changes the entire look. IMO

Lovely comfortable ‘rubber’ strap took a look at one on a gold Yachtie recently. Very nice interesting complication from the Maison Rolex.

As far as I know the Sky-Dweller is only sold with the rubber strap… and therefore you will not be able to change it…

I really LOVE the sky dweller. I like this version, maybe more wearable, but I personally prefer the usual bracelet

I could see the rubber strap with a stainless watch, (Or even white gold), but it just looks odd to me on a yellow gold watch 🤔.
