that kick will be my lasting image of YO
Rest in peace. One of my favorite Royals.
From A Toronto Blue Jays fan: I'm sorry to see a player leave the Royals before he died on January 22nd, He was a great player for the Royals before Royals fans were shocked and devastated by the death of Yordano Ventura, He was a great player and he will be sadly missed.
Brennndon Lopez Thanks! I appreciate it. Yea it was so sad when I found out. I was parked in my church's parking lot and got the notification. So sad he passed away at a young age
RIP Ace. The kick, the flare, the passion, the zest, the love for the game - he was one of a kind. :(
I just wanted to take the time to write this post and say thank you and why. Thank you to Jose Fernandez and Yordano Ventura for making baseball so exciting and for being such major factors of the youth movement.
Both Jose and Yordano had an energy about them that was unmatched. But I don’t get it, why did both pitchers have to be taken from us at such young ages.
Both had such promising starts to their careers with the Marlins and Royals respectively. Ventura got to pitch in the World Series with the Kansas City Royals and Fernandez was becoming a dominant pitcher for the Miami Marlins and perhaps the Marlins were building something special.
As I previously stated both were part of the youth movement in baseball and I think they both would have fit right in with where the game is right now. In fact, it was Ventura and the Royals who kind of started this bullpen revolution.
So again I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to Jose Fernandez and Yordano Ventura for everything they did for the game of baseball. You both are greatly missed. #Jose24 #Yordano30 #Ace30 #RIPJose #RIPYordano
Meh... Yordano isn't missed. Good riddance 👏

@@donarthiazi2443 you a weirdo man, just retreat to your slimehole and stay quiet.
Dude's got swagger.
He may not not have been the most liked player, but he brought something to the royals franchise they had lacked in which was fire. There's a little bit of ventura in all of us
I remember watching this live and just being in total awe of how dominant Ventura was. One of the greatest pitching performances I've ever seen. He had some temper issues but it's so sad that he passed so young. Also, very sad and ironic he honored Oscar Traveras this game then ended up dying the same way :(
Rest in peace Yordano. The Royals and the fans love you.
As a Jays fan, We also pray our respects and prayers to Yordano Ventura since he was great man, Jays/KC Royals and the teams love Yordano before it was shocking news for fans, He was a good player and he will be forever missed.
Brennndon Lopez even that I hate the royals cause I like the cardinals we pray our respects to yordano ventura he did incinerate hometown kid david freese with a 102 mph fastball but he is a good pitcher
Zach Kostoff Lol True Zach
Rest In Peace Yordano. Amazing talent and fiery competitor. You will be missed.
Legendary performance. RIP
That was one of the most boss, beast mode, in your face, come and get me, i'm putting my team on my shoulders, Giants who? Performances in the history of baseball. Even though the Royals lost the series that year, i think they literally road that performance the following year right into the WS win. We'll miss you, Forever our Ace, Forever Royal. #ThankYouYordanoVentura
