Currently we've been just showing Facecam. But if the webcam has a 1/4-20 thread for a tripod, it can be mounted and used with the Universal Shroud backplate.
And how do you get rid of the lightwash you get into image of the webcam by the reflection/invation of the light from the screen of the propter into the webcam
That type of glare from lighting needs to be handled by changing how lighting is hitting the screen by moving the light, or applying some sort of light block to prevent lights from landing on the screen. If you are getting glare from the screen itself, it's recommended to set the brightness of Prompter's screen just bright enough to see what you need. Since the glass does send some light through to be picked up from the camera, any excess light from the display will also make its way inside of Prompter. Keeping the screen only as bright as needed will ensure that its not picked up by your camera.
@@ElgatoWorkshop yes, its the light from the prompter screen itself, and even with the brightness at 5% which is now quite hard to read texts from it is getting a bit of a glare. quite anoying. thanks for the response. it could be useful to see videos targeting this issue, as I've seen plenty of forums in reddit having this issue, or selling another accesory to get rid of this. Thanks.
