For the amount of money these manufacturers are asking. These trucks need to come with a lifetime bumper to bumper warranty.
You are on to something there. If these truck companies want to have higher prices, they need to extend the warranties to match the longer financing years. Who wants to have a note on a truck with no powertrain warranty?
🤣🤣😂😂 Now that is funny!!
That’s a fantastic idea! Maybe bumper to bumper 5 yr 60k and powertrain lifetime.
Honda already does it
Agreed prices are off the charts, seriously given the economy inflation etc, you would think the focus would be on making these more economically viable
And a hj
TFL is still the GOAT of first time newly released Truck reviews.
Thank you for watching and your kind words. It means a lot.
TFL is a good mix of entertainment and information when it comes to car reviews
Hum, we can't sell trucks because no one can afford them, let's raise the price even more and still wonder why we can't sell trucks. 😂
They sold a quarter million last year.. 😂 they dont care about you if you dont got 60k for a vehicle. Just the way it is. Buy used
It sounds like your broke😂 i see Zr2s raptors and trxs normally
They are selling tons…
Over 200 days on lots… Let’s see what happens when dealers refuse allocations.
Look ram could sell trucks because they were old. I didn't even look at them because who wants to buy a truck that immediately becomes outdated. The price is ridiculous because you can get a more capable zr2 that money all day long. Unless ram has some nice incentives they are nuts.
I bought a brand new 2020 Ram 1500 crew cab 4WD Lonestar with the night edition over 3 years ago for 38k plus the TTL fees. That same truck (2024 model) is over 60k before fees.
The auto industry has gone mad. Never buying new again.
It isn't the auto industry. It's the economy taking another nose dive thanks to Democrats. Inflation is off the map.
I remember the days when you could find rebels on the lot for 40-50k
If you mean 55K MSRP with 25% off and purchased for 39K, then yes, I was that person in 2019. But a lot has changed apparently.
w/ 70k miles and being a low option model I just picked up a 2020 rebel for 30k. It's a lot of miles to some people but I think it's a lot of truck for the money. Absolutely ecstatic to own one!
@@b3dazzl3 Congrats, it's a great truck.
Everything has gone up.
I bought mine in 2020 for 42k with 6k milles hahah now it’s crazy
“The bones are all still there”. That may be true, but the heart is gone when they took away the v8.
I was thinking the same thing. I can't have a full size pickup with a 6 cylinder. I just won't do it.
Same. Sad, they killed a nice truck. FORD & GM are not that stupid. 4,6,8 have always been an option. Now RAM eliminated them selves.
Andre why didn't you roll the windows down & give it 'the beans' so we could hear that awesome Dyson vacuum sound? 😅
"Give it the beans" has an entirely different meaning in both Russian and Czech.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
What's that? Did you say Andre should roll down the windows because he ate beans?

$83,000 for a Ram Rebel. What a great deal! I’ll take two please.
Sheesh. Making a Silverado ZR2 sound like a deal.
Does anybody remember when the TRX came out and it was $79,000; today that seems like a decent deal
@@DannyO0917 and now its over 100k. more like 120k
I’ll take a Tremor at this point.
@@aladin_koa Tremor what? F150, F250?
I remember when Ram was the best bang for your buck brand. SMH.
This is the high end of the Rebel…there are many many more options that cost less still.
@@TheRealEarlLeeRiserYeah, I’ll take two at 65k😂😂😂😂. Buy used.
@@fritty9927 mine was $47k after rebates not long ago…
@@TheRealEarlLeeRiserI bought the new gen 2019 RAM 1500 in May of 2018 for $48k. The same exact model that I have is now closer to $60k.
It still is. You can get 10 to 15% off MSRP now, and the msrps are comparable with Ford and Chevy
Ford was smart enough to leave the 5.0 V8 as an option for those that’s not interested in a turbo 6.
Gov't mandates forced Ram to change it. Ram should have done this years ago like Ford did.
$80,000 is absurd
80k ok. I don't know where you were looking. But I found 2 rebels in Nampa Idaho for 66k. I don't know what your smoking chief. However, I guarantee you that you'll never pay msrp for one of those trucks, period.
Do they at least kiss you afterwards?
No, you wake up without your watch and wallet.
@@jimjones-pz1tt and a missing kidney....
Yes...on the KEISTER!
In the US, especially with American name brands,, the reason prices are going up is because of a huge inflation (even thought the gov says its not) and auto unions.
I would not trade or even buy a new vehicle right now with the way interest rates are.
Unions didn't raise the price of vehicle. Union labor accounts for an average of 4% of vehicle cost. The greed of auto companies and inflation are causing the price hikes. Ford has recorded record profit, even after us auto workers got our raise and everything else with this strike.
@@christophernoe5367 It's not 4%, that's just a fudgy number the UAW claims. Labor costs are probably several times that. Also, keep in mind that part of Ford's "record" profit goes to you, the autoworkers. That's an average of over $10,000 just in profit-sharing bonuses to wage workers. In reality, more money goes to you than is left on table for the company.
@@christophernoe5367Janet Yellen stated on record their goals not to lower prices. Pay has increased over the past 3 years so the prices we see are the prices we should expect.
As far as automaker profit, they are being forced to meet gov regulations which takes a ton of money on top of being held hostage to the union. They may be making record profits, but they’re also having to invest and pay employees in record amounts.
@@christophernoe5367 UAW talking points.
@@AkioWasRight their "record profit" does not all go to us. With our current formula, we are getting $10,000 before tax. Usually around $6,000 after, depends on hours worked. We get a tiny amount of that profit, it just goes to show the true scope of the unreal profit auto companies turn. Nothing wrong with that, just don't complain to me about getting a raise and being a part of a group who does what's needed to get fair wages, healthcare, and work safety standards. Plenty of industries deserve better wages, they just don't have a union or other entity to assist in the fight to get better wages so they rarely see meaningful wage increases.
You can raise the body height all you want but the rear differential clearance doesn't change. For 83K they could at least put a 35 on it. Which would raise ALL the clearances on the truck.
For 83k I'll still get a AT4X OR ZR2 selectable lockers
They’re $56k. Where you getting that extra $30 k from?
Ram: well, yes, we can certainly sell you the truck! That'll be $83,000, plus tax, title, doc fee, transportation fee, setup fee, detail fee, paint protection, fabric protection, GPS tracking, extended warranty, nitrogen tire fill, bed cover, bed liner and bend you over fee. Which brings your total to $109,000. Would you like the 12 or 15 year financing option?
For a v6 naw
@@ReapThySorrow You're right. Go get ya a V8 that's slower with less power.

And there are thousands of Dodge/Chrysler cars sitting on lots! Jeeps, Grand cherokees, Rams are absolutely pathetic in pricing!! Lotsa people are paying out their A%S & in serious debt & it's starting to catch up to these manufactures!! $83,000 for a Rebel is beyond rediculous!
Manufacturers asking the public to pay this much for a 1500 truck is asinine!
I think Stellantis is making a pretty big mistake by being so aggressive with their price hikes. Their sales numbers have declined annually due to this. Wouldn’t be surprised to see 10% off msrp a few months after it goes on sale. Great stuff as always guys!
There share price has doubled and they are more profit than ever.
Free Vaseline with every purchase.
That decline is due to age in my opinion. The ram design was the oldest with Ford and chevy having made more recent updates.
Why wait? RAM is offering 10% below MSRP right now!
@@philipparana9225 Your English is horrendous.
My mid-level 22 Rebel was 59k….. Now they start at 65k. I’ve heard the I6 has been having issues in the Wagoneers too. I’ve commented this before, but if I had to replace my truck I’d likely be looking at a ZR2
Those Chevy trucks those transmission are confused my buddy now ex wife had a gmc skipped shifts held gears than at 13,000 miles the 5.3 went boom. Personally I don’t trust anyones new trucks damn EPA has everything screwed up

EDIT: saw the new video drop today, why did I ever doubt TFL. Best content on RUclips.
$83k? Absolutely not. I'd rather get a 2500 Tradesman for $50k, lift it, put on some tires, and still have $25k left over. Sure, it won't have luxury, but that doesn't matter to me. Maybe to some people but Christ. That's way too much money.
In 2022 I bought a new F250 XLT, FX4, 6.7L for sticker ($69k). I thought that was crazy expensive. Hell, I got a deal compared to these prices today.
I forsee Ram giving 10% discount plus 10%from dealer 😂 so these can sell too.

53-59k now 😂
Great job, Andrei! You are the KING of trucks, brother
Thank you. Much appreciated!
I wonder if those wheels will fit my 2020 Rebel? They look a lot better than the 5th gen wheels! The prices of these trucks now are getting ridiculous. I’m keeping my V8 with flowmaster FX for as long as I can! Theres nothing like that V8 sound 💪🏼🇺🇸
I love my Flowmaster flow fx muffler on my Ram 2500 4wd Hemi 💯
Of course they’ll fit.

Looks like I’m pushing the 09 f150 another few years with these prices…. I’m sure I’ll have to do the timing components eventually haha
I have an 18 f150 lariat. I bought it in Canada for $50k when it was new. Now they are $80-90k. I’d never pay that for this truck.
Everyone: just give us a basic truck with a V8 that we can afford.

@@zelenizub2036I always thought those new generation Titans were good looking trucks. Didn't know your could get a bench up front though. I might have to go look for one now since I could use a truck.
I wonder how many screen replacements will be needed? On my 2022 I was at 4 in 3 months under warranty until I sold it lol
Have a 2022 warlock classic ceramic edition with a hemi, 392 diff..max tow package ... fully loaded (except leather and sunroof)...live on a mountain in canadian rockies... take this thing on quad trails/mountain roads... goes everywhere... summer and winter, AND I PAID a HELL OF a LOT LESS THAN $80 GRAND CANADIAN FOR IT. (Not u.s.)...I WILL KEEP MY HEMI THANKS.
A lot of comments on truck review videos is about the price of new trucks. They are certainly very expensive, especially in the higher trim levels, but these trucks are far more capable than the trucks of 50 years ago. They didn’t have crew cabs and the payload and capacity were much lower. I had a 1975 F 250, and it was a great truck. I loved it, especially the four speed with the granny gear, but that truck is not even close to the capability of a 2024 F 250. And back then, getting 100,000 miles out of a truck was rare. Today, these trucks are easily going 200,000 to 300,000 miles. And if someone told me in 1975 that a 3/4 ton truck could get over 10 miles per gallon I would have thought that they were crazy. So yes, they’re a lot more expensive, but they are also a whole lot more capable and they last much longer.
😂 at the guy 4:04 mark slamming the left rear wheel into that huge rock.
I was looking to see if someone else noticed this, LOL. Obviously a driver not used to a full size truck
I was looking at getting a Rebel in 2020-2021. You could get the Hemi, without air suspension for 46-48k. Then Stellantis started hiking them to 55-60k. So now they changed the grille, headlights, add the new engine and add another 10k
😂😂🤣😂🤣
It's your (consumer) fault. You switched from economic cars to this unpractical sh!t, and to top it off, you want this to be as luxurious as a Rolls Royce and climb the Everest while getting a massage and your Starbucks.
@@pacocandanothey still make base trim levels that are in the 45k range but nobody buys them because they suck lol
As long as fools buy them they will increase the price, sad thing most people only drive them to WALMART.
@pacocandano Bidenomics inflation played a very large role as well 😂. Fed and state regulations (CA) help increase pricing as well for manufacturers.
Bought this a few weeks back but without some of the camera options and some things that could bump up the price too high. Still has the big screen and whatnot. But ditched some of things like that cooled seats.
Was 65k.
I also have a 2019 ram with a 5.7
The first thing I noticed with this truck was i shocked me at how fast it was. It feels much bigger and it yet feels much lighter (nimble and effortless acceleration).
The 5.7 accelerates nice and all in sounds pretty good, I always liked it. But man this new engine it is a whole different story going on here. It's eerily quiet which can be disconcerting at first. But wow, for a big truck it moves. I think the same guy clocked the 1500 hurricane at around 5.5 seconds to 60 at 1 mi above sea level.
I built a Quad Cab, 4X4, 6'4" box, black Big Horn with the Hurricane SO, Night Edition, 20" wheels, Level 2 Equipment Group, and Trailer Tow Group, and it came to $60,380. It looks pretty bad-ass but I only owe $10,000 on my 2022 V6 Z71 Colorado :) The trailer I am buying is a Apex Nano 191RBS, 22 ft, weighs 3460 unloaded, with a 406 lb. hitch weight. I think I will keep the Colorado for a couple camping trips and see how it likes going over Vail and Loveland passes and then decide if I really need the RAM.
83k…what the hell? I paid 53 for a fully loaded Rebel in ‘19 and this really doesn’t have a whole lot more to offer aside from updated infotainment. Guessing the RHO will easily eclipse 90k.
I just love the TX Hill Country. I love it less in the summertime, but it's still loveable. Thanks for bringing us these reviews before we can buy them!
Forward facing camera with the steering lines is very cool.
Yeah, it really helps with aiming at end oil ensconced asphalt sitting bipeds, right? C'mon dude, how many people are going rock crawling with a RAM anything? These things are nothing more than overpriced grocery getters.
Those prices are nuts...just proves that we have runaway inflation no matter how hard the government is trying to hide that fact. Plus the interest rates!?? These trucks are becoming unreachable for average people.
Ram is also alienating a lot of their loyal buyers and truck people in general. People love their V8s for their reliability (i know the HEMI had issues but this Hurricane is all new and could develop issues, only time will tell) and their longevity, ability to perform unlow low rpm low strain conditions and of course the V8 legacy, many people were brought up being taught that a truck wasnt a real truck unless it had a V8...hopefully it doesnt bite them in the ass too hard. Great video as usual, Andre!
Not true. Some corporations are being greedy and seeing what they can get away with because they know dimwits addicted to fox news will blame the current govt to try to get their own guy elected. I just bought some expensive running shoes and they are the exact same price as they were 5 years ago. The bike industry prices just collapsed because people began refusing to pay the fake prices. Nice race bikes are selling for almost half of what they were a couple months ago.
Its not just inflation. Corporate profits are at all time highs too.
The issue isn't that it's not luxurious enough, it's the damn price!
Nice but I still keep my V8 2017 rebel ❤
It's amazing-as the trucks get more computer-y; I'm on Hemmings looking for something much older and less gimmicky/computer-y. Less in the short run-means more in the long run. I have a Maverick and honestly-I love it. however when I'm done with the mortgage-getting an Older Truck.
Smart move. Nothing beats reaching for a gear shift lever and moving it into drive or reaching for the 4WD lever on the floor instead of asking permission from the computer to power a solenoid through the ECU via a stupid button or knob on the dash.
‘25 rebel i6 SO level 2 equipment and lux leather seats msrp $73k; you can buy for $63k in Arizona. They’re discounted in some places.
Great review but you forgot one of the most important points we wanted, the exhaust note! We gotta hear it! Give us some revs.
What about the drag race?
Was a great truck until the v8 was gone price went through roof and trx is gone. This economy is going to stop dead in its tracks.
No, its not. Almost 250k sold last year, lookin like as much or more this year. The reason they continue is its hugely profitable.
To much money
Wouldn’t know it’s a newer model looking the same and all 😂
Does not appear to be sheet metal change? But the new cleaner grill looks nice without that stupid moustache.
Its a nice truck but it doesnt seem to be any better than the 2019-24 truck, except for a slightly larger screen and slightly more power but the pricing is just ridiculous. The hemi was 395/420 and the new engine is 420/469 thats really not a big deal in the real world and the mpg will probably be the same. Hopefully these trucks will sit on the lots for a long time and dealerships will be forced to sell them at a more reasonable price.
If I spent 80,000 for a truck I would only be able to drive it to work and have it sit in the driveway when I got home…..that’s crazy $$$$
i bet dealer will still try mark ups 😂
Please PLEASE offer this engine in future Jeeps. People are tired of underpowered Jeeps, especially given 75% are modified.

I'm guessing the 2001 dodge ram off road edition I picked up used last year would do the same things for $70K less. The old 5.9 V8 won't have the same hp or mpg as this new one, but I can afford alot of gas for the difference. Problem with discounting the MSRP later, licensing and insurance go off the original price and charge you more than the selling price. Automobile companies better wake up, won't be no bail outs this time around.
16 you get with that 5.9
Beautiful truck. However, it is still a Ram. This means it's not affordable and guaranteed to break in the first 6 months of ownership.
Not sure how the market can support all these $85K+++ trucks. I guess it's a big reason why Americans are so in debt.
I have a 2020 trailboss and I found mine with 33000 miles on it $40k The only way to get a newer truck these days is to buy new. Let someone else pay full price. Also I do not make a ton of money. I make 31000 a year so if you build your credit you can get nice things.
You know it just hit me, a nice truck at 80k+ and now a work truck at 50k+, maybe the manufacturers know these prices will push buyers down market which 10:14 their making way more money on for way less truck this is their plan.
Andre talks about the truck and its features throughout the video and gives the price at the end to let you decide if it is right for you. Nathan would talk about the price through the video and forget to tell us what we are here for. Great job Andre. You can always get 10K off a Ram and usually more. Msrp is the same as other brands but the discounts are much more so the Ram is still a great value if you know how to buy.
Ram trucks are "visually" appealing, no doubt. Enough so, along with a diesel engine option, I purchased a loaded 2022 Laramie. After spending one year with this, I feel I have an accurate and decent perception. The good is the ecodiesel and 33 gallon tank give me a real world 800-900 mile range between fill ups. Its a comfortable truck for long range driving. But after several recalls, and one involving the high pressure fuel pump, plus literally the worst interface on the market, I'm one and done on Ram pickups. My truck had a $70k sticker. My 2015 Ford FX4 with a $50k sticker was simply better in every way but maybe the ride, and that difference was minimal. The diesel gets great mileage, but that option is gone, and probably for it's horrible reliability reputation. So bringing a new engine that likes 91 octane fuel, and little else, will bring few new Ram customers. Ram guys will always love Ram trucks, but the undecided could do better with other manufacturers
The best part the price is U.S. can't wait to see Canadian pricing
Stellantis is losing their minds. Got rid of Dodge essentially, raising prices on everything, getting rid of affordable Jeeps, what are they doing
Going to take down the compation as usual !! , I’ll keep my TRX thanks . Just punch it down the hill as my TRX does and more fun 😂😂😂
Making the screen bigger by replacing hard buttons with digital ones is so dumb. The actual usable screen size is the same as my 12" screen. I'd rather have physical buttons.
And the verdict is......too much bleeping money for a truck that does not have a V8! Or V10. It is a bloody truck! Not an Economy car. It is meant for work. Well, used to be. I reckon if all you want to do now is go mall shopping in it, who needs a V8? But if you want a work horse that powers up and does not over tax itself on long hard hauls/tows for years to come, this is ridiculous. Is it capable? I will trust Andre on that. But I put it to you again, if you want MPG, buy an eco vehicle. Or hybrid or dare I say it, EV. IF one wants a muscle machine, then you are SOL on this deal.
Sorry, that price range is nuts. I don’t think they’re worth that at all.
I'm not convinced that turbo charged engine will last. Car Care Nut did a detailed, mechanic review of a Grand Wagoneer that has the high output version of the "hurricane". He said it was very high strung, like it was straining to pull that big boat of an SUV around. That means it has to be in high boost a lot. Then, you add Stellantis, who has hiked prices big time on all of their cars, is laying off factory workers, and sales are plummeting.
can't wait to see how long all these cameras last along with these turbo engines.
Hell with the camera. Will it be the Toyota Tundra deal. Turbo failure and confused transmission shifts
There's a reason why ram has more trucks and lots that aren't selling. If they really think people are going to pay this for a truck they got another thing coming. If they don't fix something quick, they will not be around much longer. Not to mention the inline. 6. Doesn't give you better fuel mileage like it should.
The manufacturers are going to hang themselves with inventory. My 22 powerwagon msrp was $55k its now $69k same truck.
What's the loading capacity ?
A dachshund and it better not have eaten a bowl of kibble.
Been watching tfl car since 2010 “ish” era and no plans of stoping
If I was interested in a Ram I would get a 2024 with the Hemi.
My local Ram dealer would take one look at this video and scream warranty denied.
So you're saying i could get a well equipped new Land Cruiser / lesser equipped GX ...or... a Ram Rebel?
I think most people that buy a truck like me it’s not the super powerful engine I mean we need the power to pull a light trailer but if the truck doesn’t have that furious V8 sound in my opinion kills the fun
Don’t see any reason to buy this over a ZR2 with the 6.2. I’m a Ram guy but I just don’t see the value… Sure you’ll get a few mpg better, great but not enough.
I seen any reasons, although I'm a Hemi guy I would appreciate the extra $50 to 70 horsepower and the 2 mi per gallon on the highway
6.2 = premium fuel. Thanks, but no thanks.
Hurricane HO also requires premium fuel!
Im glad the used market is still affordable. Some hidden gems still cheap and i will keep that info to myself before people buy them all. I still need more to my collection.
I’m not paying 65k much less 83k!
Idk with the cost of everything else in America right now i think im gonna opt for the power wheel version.
They look nice but too much electronic crap. All I want is a basic truck and a price around $40,000..guess those days are gone .
If I'm spending 80+, Id get a Raptor
Stellantis just doesn’t get it. Increasing prices DOES NOT WORK. Literally chasing full size truck folks to the midsize segment. And stellantis is currently invisible in this segment.
What drives me crazy is that you take away the standard LED tail lamps and put a hybrid incandescent brake light turn sight with led reverse lights . How does a 65k starting truck come with that tail lamp configuration is absurd
$83,000, I think I'll Dodge this!
No security fixes? No PIN start? What are the software guys doing?
I’m really surprised that RAM decided to take away the all LED taillights. Back step IMO
I wanna say the headlights are the only LED lights it has
nah i say thats better. have you seen the price of replacement LED taillights?
Yeah, and there you have it is right. You have a house payment on wheels with Stellantis reliability.
Number one in reliability 3 years in a row for light-duty trucks Google who makes the most reliable like dirty truck
What is the ground clearance without the air suspension??
GM, Ford, RAM... all three ended 2023 with more unsold trucks on dealership lots, than at any other moment in my life. People aren't buying pickup trucks as much as tgey used to, simply because they're too damned expensive. What is RAM thinking by increasing the price of a vehicle that people already can't afford?
Yes, there will always be those who have more money than others, but the bulk of pickup truck buyers are feeling the pinch.
I'm wondering if Stellantis is deliberately trying to kill RAM.
So much tech these days. Miss the old times, everything mechanical and simple.
Yeah the model T was pretty good.

Anyone know what they are going to do with the Hemi 6.2L? I ask cause I wonder what they will do with the Power Wagon.
The 6.2 Hemi as employed in the Hellcats is dead.
The 6.4 as employed in SRT cars and SuVs is dead.
The 6.4 truck engine as employed in the HD trucks soldiers for now.

Huge fan of the channel! Do you know if the Rebel will have the high output engine as an option in the near future?
Another truck they won't be able to sell. Why not just charge an even 100k, why not.
$83,000 for a Ram Rebel with V6 is insane, a true full size pickup truck has to have a V8 and be affordable.
V6s are in the base trucks.
Why would they use incandescent tail lights when they were LED loses value just from that Unbelivable ram dropped the ball…
