Seeing B-M live is like experiencing a music earthquake. Tremors ripple thru the crowd & when B-M come on stage the major quake hits & the shockwaves are non-stop :)
The day after tomorrow, they will deliver a two-hour live stream to the world from 17:50 on May 10th, Japan time. You can spend the same time with them from anywhere in the world. It will be the latest live of nearly 23 songs. If you are interested, there is a link to the ticket on their official web page. Long archive tickets can be viewed with anyone as many times as you like for two weeks. They canceled the audience live twice due to COVIT-19 and decided to do this livestreaming.
"Choose Me" has so many great RnR chops, it's kinda unbelievable. From Saiki's old-school phrasing and cadence; MISA's driving bass, her special riff after Kanami's brilliant, rocking main solo, and her pulls at the end of the song that really funks it up; to Kanami's original composition, off-beat octave stretches during the verses, and her addition of a second uncomplicated yet super tasty solo complete with harmonic pinch; to Akane's unique snare & tom flurry that launches the choruses; and to Miku's octave-down, in & out vocal backup and lyrics... all makes "Choose Me" a throwback rocker that surprised me when I first heard it - and I'll bet most anyone - that they would come up with this western-style, rock 'n roll classic. Of course, after years later, it's not surprising at all coming from this important band of geniuses who are almost single-handedly bringing back the joys and soulfulness of rock for people from all places and ages to hear. Here's a great live MV of "Choose Me" that's not quite as punchy do to the mix, but still good: ruclips.net/video/HcqitbXgigU/видео.html Wearing headphones is highly recommended for all your reactions!!
Yes these 2 songs alternate between my favourite Band-Maid song, I can't pick between them even if one of them is actually saying 'Choose Me' :) It used to be Alone but when I hear some of the live versions of Choose Me the way they change up the intro to the song it is so good. They are definately my top 2.
We need to get Saturday Night Live to book them as the musical guest for an episode. They'll get to play two songs .... and then they would EXPLODE in the U.S. Just got to get them booked. ;-)
Love this song from Band Maid! All these ladies are so talented and skilled! I agree, they should be a world wide phenomenon! Akane is on fire on the drums! As always, Misa, Misa, Misa! Kanami really makes that PRS talk! Saiki and Miku on the vocals, really great! Actually, they are more popular outside of Japan, hard rock not as popular there. Metal or pop seem to be the thing in Japan. More and more people are finding them, and when this COVID thing is behind us and they can go on tour again and get in front of crowds again, this may be their year! Hope so for them, their hard work and determination sure shows!
Saiki's voice always sounds somewhat softer, cuter on mvs for some reason. Fyi, they are not mainstream band in Japan, but they have diehard fans who are more than willing to spend big money to support the band in every possible way. Also, they have assassin bassist, mad genius guitarist, gorilla drummer, the band's brain little pigeon and often overlooked powerful vocal Saiki. They are a package, sisterhood, very special.
I prefer London concert version taken on cell phone. That’s how they are good,. They have a different intro to this song, love it. It has that retro feeling.
American radio stations play bands from all over the world but for Asian bands which is BS...guess they worried cause bands from japan(the female bands) are so much more Talented and Better 🤟
The same goes for the radio stations here in Europe, unfortunately. I also think they are afraid of making their regular artists look bad, which would definitely be the case.
The song Warning is about the west not giving them any major media coverage (Represented by the cars, The Jag for Britain and Cadi for the US ) and they will dominate regardless
If you're basing your music preferences on how many other people like, listen to, or know of a group, you're not actually paying attention to the music, you're just trying to be "cool." It's no different from not listening to an artist because they're not popular enough. "Definition of 'poseur' : a person who pretends to be what he or she is not : an affected or insincere person"
@@stevehall5128 good point, but there's also difference between music made as art and music made as a product that is supposed to be sold. If music is good as art and by the way many people like it it's fine, if music is produced to be popular then it's not worth being called music and sorry to say that but both band-maid and babymetal are products, not art
@@GourangaPL Well I guess I and hundreds of thousands of others are just gonna have to agree to disagree with you about Band-Maid's artistic motivations and value.
Please let me know if you have any non-commercial rock or pop. If it doesn't work because it's not artistic, listen to contemporary music as well. In the first place, such a division is meaningless.
💜 I choose you, too, BAND-MAID. 💚
*BAND-MAID* two for one sale get two *Kanami* solo for the price of one song.
Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. No one ever asks for a refund ;)

It's been four years since I chose them and my life has been sounding much better since then.
I understand that for their live stream concert from earlier this year, people from 67 countries viewed it. So,they are catching on worldwide.

Thank God the Japanese were willing to perform CPR on the rest of the world...especially these ladies!!
Thanks guys!
Choose me and Alone have the best Kanami solo’s! this is a great song and it’s very catchy!
Hiya, Muzicman2112. Long time no see. Hope all's well.

"Choose Me" is one of Band-Maid's more underrated songs. I think it's on par with Domination, Freedom, Warning! and Onset.
Can you imagine having to choose the playlist before a show. There's so many good songs ..... Choose Me is one of my top 5.
Age old question, why isn't BM more popular? They will be there, just too damn awesome :)

I was thinking the same thing 🤔

my favorite song from them is "daydreaming" the official release. it's so good , please give it a reaction when ever you can!
ask if you want to cry listen to " about us " from a live stream feb 2021 - it's fire ! vocals are amazing ! enjoy !
MISA!!! MISA!!! MISA!!!! 🥃🥃🥃 this MV is very good but their Live video is 10 times better 😉🤙🏼
100% agree. I know it won't happen but i'd love it if B-M played "Youth" at the live stream :)

The music industry focuses more on image rather than talent these days unfortunately.
A good dose of Misa, check out YOLO!!
ha amde the 200 full ...yeah they are awesome
Please react to One Ok Rock - Renegades 🔥🔥❤️
band maid is too commercial and mainstream, try something better like lovebites or unlucky morpheus
