This song was played twice in their Yokohama show last November. Saiki played it solo with a piano and the group played a great rendition as they walked around the area. Band-Maid is definitely one of the best bands out today.

My request for another BAND-MAID reaction, if you'd like: "HATE? (LIVE)". Harder, louder, than Choose Me, but you'll love it. It's from their November '23 Tenth Anniversary show, in Yokohama. I got to see them do it live, a little earlier, in the USA. They are amazing. If you want more fun from Japan, I dare you to try Hanabie. I suggest trying "Otaku Lovely Densetsu" or "We Love Sweets". Try them blind.

The Official LIVE version is even better! And not only does BAND-MAID have a few Anime Theme Songs, like 'Shambles, which was commissioned as the season two closing theme for the Netflix anime, Kangan Ashura, and 'Glory' for Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS, but they have an OMV that's in anime format called 'Unleash'.

Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid.

Miku Kobato (Me-Ku) "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, vocals, lyricist, 32 years old. “Koba”, as Saiki calls her, is the Band founder and a firecracker MC & PR SpokesPigeon, po! Her “Magic Spell Time” charm and energy ignite the room. Kuruppo! No, no, no… KURUPPO!!
Kanami Tono (Ka-Na-Me) “Princess” - Lead guitar, keyboards, 32 years old, is a prolific writer of most Band-Maid material. Kanami (translates “Song Wave”) is a possessed riff-slayer who’s so damn adorable it hurts. The only thing you want from Mincho is more!
Akane Hirose (A-Ka-Nay) "Gorilla" - Drums, 33 years old, band energizer & co-clown with MISA. Achi’s talents include massive consumption of noodles and bananas, of course, (even during performance!) while revolutionizing rock drumming with relentless drive, dynamics and the kick. This “DrumZilla” is the Party!
MISA (Me-Sa) "Barefoot Assassin" - Bass, 31 years old. An alluring free spirit driving her 5-string to rapturous low-ends while pulling off surprising counter leads with Kanami, off-stage MISA is the band’s goofball ballerina. You might have noticed that at least the three ladies (Kanami, Misa and Akane) are masters at their instruments. Then there is the lead vocalist Saiki who is perfect for the Band Maid sound. And the last one Miku, you might ask?! Well, Miku is Miku 🎤🎸🧙♀: Our little pigeon 🕊, pure energy, fantastic backing vocals and harmonies with Saiki, some wonderful lead vocal songs and these days very good on rhythm guitar ... she wasn't able to play the guitar in 2013 when she founded the band. Wait until you watched her very special "Omajinai Time" (🪄 magic spell time) during their concerts (they call them "Okyūji" = Serving).

There are two types of BandMaid songs: Upon first listen either "Holy crepe! This is my new favorite BandMaid song!!!!!" OR "Well ok that's pretty good I guess" and then 3 days later upon second listen "What the hell was I thinking? This is great! I have no idea what drug I was on when I heard this the first time. This is my new favorite song!" BANDMAID HAS NO BAD SONGS!
FYI. You can watch their videos for your reactions and never be disappointed, however you will be personally missing out on so so so so so so many awesome songs that don't have videos on their Channel. Just ask anyone here
My request for another BAND-MAID reaction, if you'd like: "HATE? (LIVE)". Harder, louder, than Choose Me, but you'll love it. It's from their November '23 Tenth Anniversary show, in Yokohama. I got to see them do it live, a little earlier, in the USA. They are amazing.
If you want more fun from Japan, I dare you to try Hanabie. I suggest trying "Otaku Lovely Densetsu" or "We Love Sweets". Try them blind.
They're the real deal- amazing musicians and singer. Helping to keep the torch of Rock lit- you should definitely watch Domination next (live version is actually better than the studio version).

The Official LIVE version is even better! And not only does BAND-MAID have a few Anime Theme Songs, like 'Shambles, which was commissioned as the season two closing theme for the Netflix anime, Kangan Ashura, and 'Glory' for Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS, but they have an OMV that's in anime format called 'Unleash'.
Recommend Hate? a live version from their big Yokohama concert.
