    Saiki is #1 a fantastic rock singer! … incidentally, can we all just agree Saiki is the most beautiful woman in the world? 🕊️❄️🍌🥷🎸

    Years ago, watching an early TV interview, I was struck when the host asked SAIKI, “What is your ‘charm point?” SAIKI’s demeanor was rather dark as she replied, “I have no ‘charm point.’” The host protested no, surely she must have a ‘charm point!” SAIKI’s response was a cool, “well, if you see one, please tell me.” Viewing from a country where boasting and self promotion seem essential, I was impressed by her self-effacing modesty. But it’s great to see how she’s blossomed since then.

    1st off I’m the biggest Saiki and BAND-MAID fan on this planet. BAND-MAID writes INCREDIBLE songs. But without Saikis amazing tone and style, the songs would not be the same. Her voice is one of a kind and very distinctive. And beautiful. I absolutely LOVE BAND-MAID. Then5 of them coming together is a miracle that I’m so happy about. 8 billion people on Earth, and these 5 found eachother to make the worlds greatest rock band. I love them all and admire their talent.

    In the bar with her mother, Saiki was just getting trained to be in a band with Misa. Thanks Mom.
    Excellent documentary. I could not imagine Band-Maid without Saiki. Her evolution has been amazing to watch. According to Mincho, Saiki is such an encouraging person. She completed Band-Maid and is now one of the best front person in a band.

    • @artomatt
      @artomatt 11 месяцев назад +4

      "Encouraging person" reminds me that she was very encouraging to Kanami about the songs Kanami composed that were rejected by the production company. I think it's important to note that Saiki, in addition to her other talents and accomplishments, was instrumental in helping Kanami to become one of the greatest rock composers!

    今回も熱い解説をありがとうございます。
    彩姫嬢は喉の手術も転機になったと思いますが、
    何より日頃のトレーニング、体力作りも相当なものでしょう。
    彼女のオリジナリティのある歌声は持って生まれたものではなく、
    自身で作り上げた歌声だと思うと、胸が熱くなります。
    Don't you tell Me の編集もさすがです。
    というか、これができるのはBAND-MAIDだけではないでしょうか。
    彼女達の演奏は、重ね合わせても、切ってつなげても、
    一音もズレることなく繋がります。
    同期音源を使っているので当然ではありますが、
    それでもギターのカッティングからベースやドラムの細かい拍子まで、
    全く違和感なく繋がるのには、やはり驚きます。

    This additional information was necessary to get to know Saiki better and prove that she did not deserve this nickname of Ice Queen that was given to her when it was due to her extreme shyness. Today she simply became Queen Saiki. It was funny to learn that Miku thought they would have trouble getting along at the very beginning. Look at them now. Thanks Ohrenje.

    • @jamesredman1263
      @jamesredman1263 11 месяцев назад +4

      They did have trouble at first. Miku is so extroverted socially, and with Saiki being so quiet and shy, Miku did not know how to relate. There is a video where Saiki was sitting quietly and Miku repeatedly poked her in the face like a bratty child, trying to get a rise out of her. It was said Saiki started kicking at her - I can see why, to keep her from getting close enough to do stuff like that.
      Thankfully they worked through all that and are now close and hang out together. Saiki even goes with her to horse races, where they each have their own strategies for betting.

    ここ数年、特に2022のUSツアーでメンバーみんなも彩ちゃんも新しい何かをつかんだ感じがします。
    アメリカのご主人様お嬢様の反応を見て、自分たちがやってきたことが間違っていないんだ!

    彩ちゃんなんて見た目も立ち居振る舞いも見るからに美しく自信満々に変貌を遂げたし、ボーカルの技術ももはや圧倒的としか言いようがない。

    Saiki is a very interesting character. Don't know if you could squeeze in a couple of recent bits, eg Saiki has a driving licence and in the early days wuld go out for a drive with MISA, also drove the tour van. And her musical evolution with her starting to learn guitar and learning enough piano to play Choose Me in front of thousands of people.

  • @exDemonius
    @exDemonius 11 месяцев назад +8

    My dream has come true. I so wanted remakes of the first four documentaries with the quality of Miku's documentary.
    I got what I wanted! And even more, because in the new version of the documentary, Saiki’s character is truly revealed! I remembered my first thoughts after watching the early BAND-MAID concerts. I always thought that Saiki looked very quiet and shy back then (this does not apply to singing songs - Saiki was always on top in songs). And if you look at her in concert at Yokohama Arena, it seems that she is a completely different person! The documentary told about this transformation of Saiki in detail.
    And what an emotional ending to the video! I almost cried again! :) Ohrenje knows how to make a video emotional!
    I really like the video editing! So cool to see all these old photos and videos!
    And I really like how Ohrenje edited the song "Don't you tell ME". I only realized that this was combining multiple videos while recording from the rehearsal studio. This is a very professional job!
    And I really liked Yuri Takashima's voice. She did an amazing job as a voice actor! Kasper's voice is amazing as always!
    Thank you for this amazing video and for the emotions this video gave!

    ok, I had to watch the first 15 minutes before commenting!😅 But I'm curious about a piece of the puzzle...which is...Miku recruited Kanami who brought in Akane and then Akane brought in Misa..but did Misa and Kanami ever meet each other before Band-Maid??🤔 Also, great info on Saiki's creative journey - she was trying to emulate Namier Amura, right? So I can only imagine how averse she was to the maid outfit...she was probably like "this is some silly gimmick" not a serious opportunity! LOLL...oh boyy...I'm sensing it was Akane and then probably Misa that first encouraged her to try it...hmmm...such an informative and interesting vid Ohrenje!!💥 thank you once again!🤘

    Great, great new version of Sai-chan’s documentary video!!👏👏👏
    It contained some information I didn't know.😲 Thank you!
    Rimi Natsukawa is one of my fav singers. The song Nada Sousou used in this video was the song that made her nationally popular singer. There is a quite interesting story about her and this song, but that's another story (nothing to do with Band-Maid😏)
    Namie Amuro was one of the most popular singers in Japan, particularly for young girls. She is the only female singer who had albums with over a million sales in her 10s, 20s, 30s, and 40s.
    Both Natsukawa and Amuro were born in Okinawa which is my home prefecture.😉

I can only add that, despite her shyness, I someday expect Saiki to walk into a studio to record a solo project. Something with a jazz or blues motif. Such a genre will draw out things from her that are begging to come out. There is more substance to her capabilities than pop or rock can showcase ! Her career trajectory has yet to realize it's height IMO ! ♥️🇯🇵

    I didn't think the documentary could be made any better, but I was obviously wrong. It is possible. So kudos to you and the team war this amzing work. Bit now i´m exited for the upgrades for the other documentary for Misa, Akane and Kanami. The docu for Miku is already perfection^^

    I know the Japanese like their privacy, but I remember a documentary about the lovely group Mutant Monster (two sisters and a friend) where their mother was interviewed and it was very interesting. So I'd like to see Saiki's mother interviewed, but also Miku's, Misa's, Mincho's and Akane's mothers. I don't think that will ever happen (but maybe just their voices or a written note if they don't want to appear on screen?) It would be interesting to know what they thought of their daughter's career choice.

      @@alxvdark it's less a problem than it was before - now, there's many female rock artists married with children who keep on playing (Tamu, Mayu, Miyako, Asami, Yuri, Toki ... ) so let's hope ...

    Ohrenje, cast and crew another glorious documentary. Your story telling is fantastic, warming, entertaining and educating. With every BAND-MAID doc or special that you all do its like another layer of understanding and appreciation for the women of this band is added. Most bands have stories of how they came together and survived their first years, with BAND-MAID it's like a fairy tale. It's just that this fairy tale has 5 Princesses. As for Ohrenje-san, if there was a way to nominate you and your talented cast/crew for an independent documentary award myself and the growing family of BAND-MAID fans around the world would stuff those ballot boxes to the point they were bursting at the seams. Thank You as always. Bravo !!

    Sai-chan being from Yamanashi makes me happy... It's also home to one of my favorite J-Rock bands (Remioromen, who unfortunately are on hiatus). Beautiful and serene place, just like her.
    Saiki has the poise and looks of aristocracy, so it's quite interesting she found her call in life with a band of crazy extroverts. But it's a match made in heaven, I just can't imagine B-M without her.
    I don't call her "Ice Queen" anymore because she's quite a lovely, warm person... ok, it's mere stage persona, but once she shows her full personality you know how awesome she is (a little pigeon push helps, po)😊

    Thanks for the upgrade @ohrenje. It's hard to improve on perfection but, somehow you did it. I found that Saiki always looked a little sad in her earlier pictures. When you put up those two photo's side by side to compare (at 28:08), she looks so much happier and more confident now. Here's to celebrating another 10 years of Saiki and Band-Maid. Cheers!!!!
