But been a lifetime fan of this amazing band with such a diverse sound... just found out Dan MacCafferty died in 2022.. Rest well Dan McCafferty. This song was cranked in my basement bedroom (more times than my mom would have liked) when I was in my formative years learning how to rock (1978ish). Still inspiring after all of these years…your vocal delivery was unparalleled. Still is ❤
What a band, and that voice was incredible. I miss this era of music.
The 70's
That voice always sounded so painful to do. Like he would need a few Throat Lozenges after one song.

With the garbage they call music now we ALL miss this era!
Stay tuned.
These are the ones who started it all…Nazareth, Steppenwolf, Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer, Iron Butterfly…pioneers of Heavy Metal.

Great band! Hair of the Dog was one of the first albums I ever owned. I love every song on it. I really like the big, red, white and blue drums on the video. Good stuff.
Amazing band and vocals! One of the best in rock. Dan's range is outstanding!

For me the best rock band ever dan what a voice from your No 1 fan 65 years old ive been nazareth crazy since the age of 18 you are the pride of dunfermline
I was a southern Georgia boy at 13 when I discovered Nazareth. I had all my friends rocking to them. At 58 now I still know almost all the words to the songs. They were powerful and the greatest band sound. Way ahead of their time. Maybe not.
One of my favorite song by them, amazingly done. Oh man, I'm a bit late as I don't do the news or social media. But been a lifetime fan of this amazing band with such a diverse sound... just found out Dan MacCafferty died in 2022.. Fills me with immense sadness, an amazing voice and songwriter, a fucking legend. R.I.P. Thank you for all the good times.
Listening to this now, after all these years, still gives me a chill up and down my spine.
Such a great one.. So influential.. Will be missed.
RIP Dan McCafferty, thank you for the wonderful music you gave the world!
Heavy Metal before Heavy Metal even existed!!
RIP Dan ...
Heir of the Dog. The best album i've ever owned.
Rest well Dan McCafferty. This song was cranked in my basement bedroom (more times than my mom would have liked) when I was in my formative years learning how to rock (1978ish). Still inspiring after all of these years…your vocal delivery was unparalleled. Still is ❤
