Glad it sold!
It starts! Woohooo! Howboutcha! Nice job Hank and company. 🇺🇸🚜👍
I bet it was parked for that! No one could figure it that it was a ground issue! Great job guys! That exhaust spit up errthang I swear lol
Do whatever it takes and put it back in service, i Love these videos.
I really enjoy watching your videos…. I can see the happiness in your face when you get them started and running
Thanks for taking the time to watch and make the comment. I truly appreciate it! Have a good day.
That old Cat came to life. Love seeing that old iron purring (maybe because I work for that big yellow company). Glad you got it turned over, and to see a simple thing like bad grounding can cause so much issues. The crud that came out of that stack was awesome. Thanks Hank for the entertainment. Jason
You bet! Thanks for watching buddy
All the driving, parts, battery and starter problems were worth the joy of hearing it run.
Great work, loved the rust coming out of pipe.
😁🙂👍
10/10.
Thanks 👍
Hank can fix anything with his adj. wrench, he never leaves home without it.
This is true😂👍
Them good old KY nut rounders is valuable tools lol
Love the exhaust shot
Yeah that was cool!
Epic crazy how much can get down when they sit.
I love your videos containing Autocar. Keep up this type of project work.
Gotta love all the crap flying out of the exhaust! Keep up these great starts!
Lol. It was crazy!
I love your idea, it’s a bit choppy to watch and kinda runs on, but I like it! It’ll get better with time.
Also aero kroil, it’s 1000 times better! liquid wrench is a waste in comparison
That orange can is second to none!
Horn work but does the drive work and God bless yall 😂
Sometimes😂
Way to go guys! Love to old trucks working again!
Thanks for watching 👍
What a infectious laugh you have Hank.
ABSORB what Sonny and Wiley are teaching you, please?!?! These old guys are MASTERS at their craft and are a dying breed.
Sometimes instead of so much starting fluid I have used a rag soaked in gas to thin the mixture, not sure what to do about the starter performance hopefully more amps will help also electrical cleaner could help
👍
Nice!
Thanks buddy 👍
Very cool to see the old beast run...
That's the cutest little vise grips I ever saw I have a real small pair of channel locks I use everywhere one of my favorite tools
Very fascinating boys the work you do well done 👍🇬🇧
Hank said: yell want to, or you want go some where else. 🤣
😂
That was awesome Hank, glad you got the old Autocar cranked up! All it was is a bad ground.
Thanks for watching 👍 it was really cool!!!
This is so cool , and THANK you for hitting the air horn. LoL.. I was hopin you were gonna check it before the video was done.
Right on👍
Been looking forward to this video for a while keep up the good work hank you never fail to impress hope your all keeping good

We appreciate that.
Wow that was so amazing work because that old one just started 😮
Listen to her purr, That old girl wants to get back to work ! ! 👍😎.
Stay tuned. The next one is good 👍👍
Success!!! Glad that you, Mr. Tommy and Mr. Sonny were able to get the old girl started. Really enjoyed all of the excitement at the end when it started. Great job!!!
It was a lot of fun. I appreciate you Terry!
Three men, the right tools and enough knowledge amongst you to be dangerous.😨 and y'all got it fired up!! Love the forest debris blowing out of the stack, too funny. Great episode Hank and your cohorts! And the horn works, double bonus!!
That's right!!! 👍
It blew chunks out the exhaust pipe at start up LOL! :D
You good old boys are just having way too much fun
Lol. For sure. Thanks for watching 👍
Wow my tow truck with a 7.3 idi engine was doing the exact same thing when i tried to turn it on and the positive starter cable was getting to hot it ended up burning the starter so i had to replace the 3 batteries, starter and positive cable now seeing this video i can tell my starter doesnt have a negative ground...
Just got done watching the melon green autocar first start, that was it bad ground, but the greatest part was when it started looked like a woodchipper spitting out last years.meal.i knew thats why you cracked up.was waiting for the reference but it never came.still glad you fellas had fun, just wondering on these adventures do you get alot of ticks.i know when i was stationed at fort picket in Virginia you couldnt walk ten feet in woods without picking up a dozen.cool one guys, snookie pa.
👍
I've always used baking soda (not baking powder) mixed in with water works wonders to get corrosion off battery cables.
yeah good option for sure.
Living in NH I don't think I've ever said "For February it's a little warm at 9:00am" LOL
LOL. Probably not. 😀
For diesel truck * if soo long nut running and difficult to start * check your earth wire @ negative connection ...! regards from kuala lumpur .
I used to have a 55 chevy 3/4 ton. I had parked for a year. When I got it started ,dead mice blew out of the pipe along with a a bag of dog food..
Ground wire on the spring hanger...I’ll have to try that...lol...still don’t see how it made contact....but hey..it started! Hooray!
Sometimes we get lucky
Hola amigos me gustó lindo camión se reniega un rato pero con un poco de amor y conocimiento sale todo bien la risa ata yo me reía que lindo sonaba mi saludo cordial Marcelo de argentina
Great Job Guys !
After driving Cat's for forty years, I'm really surprised you got that cold blooded 3406 running with no ether in February.
Good work on those grounds. I think I need to get myself a set of those wrenches wit the ratchet box ends.
They're nice!
Flex head Gear Wrenches are the best. Harbor Freight sells a cheaper copy.
I love fixing stuff to
Just took a lil bit more elbow grease and more crescent wrenches 🤣👍
Schow de bola .pegou na segunda tentativa sao bom em .chegou sair capim do cano de descarga .😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍🤝🤝
I wish I could come hang out with you guys. I think I would have a lot of fun. It never hurts to have one more supervisor!👍
Lol 😆
What type of engine does it have? Cummins or a Cat? thanks and keep up the fine work.
Man it had good compression it runs great! I loved all that rust and soot that blew out of the stack that was funny.
Thanks for watching!
All those cables are corroded. I remove them and clean them with a cup wire brush in a cordless drill. So many penetrating oils on the market. Good ole P.B. Blaster and Seafoam Deep Creep work well for me. I have used another called Freeze Off that works well, but it is much higher priced. Eating dirt is part of working on trucks. I work on farmers trucks and beg them to at least drive them over a low water crossing or wash them once in a while. Funny how they can afford a 250,000$ tractor but can't afford a 250$ pressure washer.
the next video i want to see all this staf on your farm .
and wen you restor it , and you go out to work with dis fleet .
Привет привет. Интересная тема дерзайте .👍👍👍
Awesome. Gonna search out the next one.
Howboutcha pal, damn I have never seen that amount of crud come from an exhaust 🤣😂👍👍👍🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸
Lol. It was a ton!
That was a good one. Hooking the earth to the spring shackle. ???WTF
The sheer amount of junk that was shooting out the exhaust was crazy!
Yeah it was insane. lol
Привіт пацани ідякую за любов до стареньких авто
Wondering if that thing was supposed to be wired for 24v start
Dude that was awesome! Too bad it was missing tires, that bad boy would have going down that dirt road. It reminds me of something my Momma told me on her death bed. She said son remember these 3 things....
Stay tuned for the next one !!!
Good the exhaust spewed some volcanic ashes.
👍
As my old man used to say *YOU CAN'T KILL A KITTY CAT*
👍👍
Just a bit of tinkering and then smoke and then a wee bit more smoke and then it fired right up and purred like a cat. Gee I did say and a lot didn't I, oh well. Great video bro. All the best
Thanks buddy 👍
Liquid wrench adjustable wrench spanner cleaned up wires good battery. Dam hank your a changed man. Should do a will it star using the adjustable for the nostalgia of the old days.
Lol. I still try to use it as much as possible. 😂
Man i love these videos LOVE ,EM.
Looks like the clutch fan is stuck on. That old cat is sounding good running after setting for years
Thanks for watching!
I think you may have blown half the engine out the exhaust! LOL
It was crazy!!
One thems missing a wire connector just hold the end it pass through them ground it
What a gem.
Thanks for watching 👍
Should have had the jumpers on that for the extra boost
Just goes to show you can get things working with a bit of work lol Cummins and Cat you nailed it lol just something about deeres
Tell it all!!!
It's great to see this video on the auto car

Yeah man, it was awesome. We appreciate you watching 👍
Guess that squirrel living in that exhaust pipe was made as h,./!
Excellent
bravo les enciens
Great video Hank. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for watching 👍
An Autocar? Oh wait, that's exactly what Diesel Creek is working on, however, his truck is 1957 vintage! I really love these old brands vanished long ago! What about White or International, do they still exist? Not as independent brands anymore, I presume, they have met the same fate as Hanomag, Krupp, Kaelble, and Magirus Deutz here in Germany!
Yeah Diesel creek has an awesome one
God blesses us with every new video. Thanks for sharing! ;)
Thanks for watching 👍 we truly appreciate it
Just general old school even in neutral push in clutch pedal. No need to turn tranny gears
Right on 👍
Continue to follow you from the wounded Iraq
If the ground is longer enough to put it under the cab to the frame
Hey guys how you doing!!! Any luck with the museum... I still haven't found any locomotive owners
No luck with museum, but did get in touch with Sterling Rail

Dang thing sounds pretty good!

Call that truck Lazarus.
Lol. For sure!
pretty innovative way to fix that ground wire issue. That's what I like about your channel, Hank, you don't give up.
Thanks! We appreciate you watching 👍
Great job getting that old girl going. Good ground and away she goes
Yep! Thanks for watching 👍
, what's up with Wylie and his hat? It's on backwards 😮
I always find it weird how all the American motors run on 12v with 4 batteries in parallel yet here ours run off 24v with two batteries in series
Been waiting for this video. Thank you for this. That exhaust shot was something else!
Right on. It was cool. Stay tuned for the next one. It's cool!
Heck yea sounds beautiful if it was cabover id want lol
Right on. Thanks for watching.
Great work guys
Thanks much!
great job buddy and great video as always 😎👊🏻👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
@@HamiltonvilleFarm you are welcome buddy cheers 😀
Much bla bla in the beginning, but at least you made it run. Probably for nuts. But it was funny.
Hey Hank, was hoping to see ya throw a tire on the front and move it around a bit. 👍
Stay tuned!
I was afraid it would not start when you all tried to start it near the beginning of the video!
Cave exploring anyone? Into the depths of the beast you crawl!
