- In this episode of The Debrief, former 22 SAS Trooper Big Phil Campion speaks to Andrew 'Sully' Sullivan.
Sully had always had thoughts of a military career in the back of his mind, and the tragic events of 9/11 led him to find a recruiter and take the fight to the enemy as soon as he could. His mind set on being an operator, Sully signed a SEAL contract and completed the arduous training stages to achieve his spot in the coveted SEAL Team Two. 5 Years and 2 tours of Iraq later, Sully wanted to advance into a Tier 1 role, and began the selection process for The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) / DEVGRU. Sully completed 7 active tours of Afghanistan and achieved an impressive array of medals and awards, but this wasn't all he collected from his tours. Sully was shot, and also discovered he had a brain tumour in 2015. Recovering from these incidents, led Sully to retire and start a business of his own.
Sully is the founder of the Community First Project (www.C1p.org), a 501(C)(3) Non-Profit organisation that provides life-saving training that helps train Police Patrol Officers to handle stress and incidents in a more effective way to make communities safer. C1P has raised over $770'000 and trained over 1000 Police Officers.

Delta Force, SAS/SBS, and Seal Team 6 might be the deadliest trio in human history. Thank you Phil for the upload.
Wouldn’t want a knock on the door from any of them! Thanks for your support ⚔️
Catering Corp were the world's deadliest unit.
Do you mean the deadliest quadruple??? SAS and SBS are different regiment/Units just like Delta and Seal team 6.
Hardest course in the Army .... nobody ever passed it.@@snowflakemelter1172
@@snowflakemelter1172your comment is lost on this lot. 😂
Just found your podcast, just outstanding. I'm a former USMC, I have great respect for the special forces. I did bootcamp in july 1980, being trained by drill sergeants with at least three tours in Nam. These men were great examples of what it meant to be a US Marine.
Thank you for watching!
Andrew is a Man that's giving back for the right reasons with no ego . Fairplay "Sully".
Thanks for watching!!
Phil is the man
Thanks for watching!
As a former RM with a stutter, I totally understand his difficulties in the Corps. He's s a nice lad.
Thank you for sharing
Phil, another great interview.
Most of the American personell I came across in my time (1970's) were very yehaaaarr, granted they were not SF as the numbers of thinking specialists then were very limited. It shows how better training now brings forward a more balanced attitude from within.
Thanks for another great insight.
Chris.

I am a serving member of Upper Chittingfold sea cadets, if the Navy SEALs want some real hard core training come to our FOB for a smackdown. ( bring Haribo, you'll need it )
Snowflake Talk is Cheap! BUDS The Seal Teams and Seal Team 6...Get Some! Then make your comments. Meanwhile enjoy your Chitwood Cadets. I am sure it is a super great tier 1 unit and if a part of the Special Boat Service then that is as good as they come! Cheers mate!

If i was a SEAL Instructor? My only words to any new tadpole going through BUDS! Is that your Instructors! Are not trying to harass yous. Even if it feels like it? It's Their job is to get yous out of the BS! That goes through your brain? Under Combat! Like they all have.. Because if you's can't? Then what good are you's! When the time comes, to get you's through the same Combat! They have gone through? Their Experience? Is what you's need to understand, with the respect of their Experiences... does that make sense to all new tadpoles? Because of not? Then it should, outta respect for all those who have served in that level of Combat. That none of you's have gone through yet?
Football is soccer. Does anyone else think he was nervous and over pre-pared?
Not in America. Football is what we call American football.
