leased a 2018 high altitude V6. was so impressed with the jeep that I bought out the lease. The only negative I can think of is that I have to connect my phone with a physical cable to the car to get carplay. There are a few after market products that allow you to do it over bluetooth, but they are poorly designed. The 19 speaker upgrade is well worth it.
I have this same trim and color but the 2018 model. White color really shows the beauty of this vehicle best, IMO. I have the radar at the front with rear cross traffic alert and lane assist package though. Noticed this one didn’t have the radar.
That Jeep Grand Cherokee looks so slick
Jeep really needs to add trims names on the back desperately.
Definitely the best trim . Next to the SRT AND TRACKHAWK..I have the 2018 model.. still the same nothing really changed
Nope... Summit 5.7
@@Hollyrock712 the summit and high altitude basically the same. The summit has the Diamond stitch seat and Crome accents. And the high altitude has regular leather seats and blacked out accents
@@heyitstonywicks6319 and engine
It's a good suv.I like it.I like it's gauge cluster very much
Love that white exterior! Super nice! Stay safe Ben
Great vehicle. Equipment, technology, design and safety. I like the grayed out accents for the trim, badging and wheels
One actually two minor drawbacks but obviously none of them deal breakers.
1. Windshield washer nozzles.......them sticking out of the hood and being the only protrusions kind of disappointingly break up what is other tables very clean, sleek and elegant hood/body lines. Personally I think closer to the windshield and underneath the hood or even the cowl area would regain the sleek look.
Lift Gate! Power is nice but for those with low (older) garage ceiling heights be careful. I am good in my garage but I would like the option of opening the lift gate let’s say 3/4 way with the power. To reduce chances of catching on garage door and scratching th paint use 3/4 with power and manually lift the gate the rest of the way.
Interior design is modern but not over the top. One note and pay attention during purchase. It could be a big deal later.
FCA removed the CD player option sometime around 2011-12-13 ish model year. Due to apparent customer feedback or maybe just to be difficult....they brought the option back....not sure what model year but at least 2020. The problem was the center instrument panel had already been redesigned WITHOUT the CD player. The new location for the CD player was the center console. That so much isn’t the problem but remember that takes about 80% or probably more of the storage space away from the console.....and Jeep allows you the privilege of paying $400 to have LESS storage space.
JGC forums have several how to links on how to remove the CD player and put the normal insert back into the console to regain the storage space. That of course defeats the purpose of
The CD player but not a big deal since there is two USB data (Music) slots and the AUX input. If all those fail. Stream from Bluetooth or in my case use the SIRIUSXM App and stream to the B/T for the channels that the vehicle SIRIUSXM don’t receive.
Configurable instrument cluster is pretty nice.
My dog loves the cargo area. With the rear seats folded down and the cargo cover in place he can stretch out in the cargo area and have shade, water and plenty of room to stretch! He gives gives it four paws and a tail up!
Jeep doesn’t really change much. It looks almost the same as my 2014
Right... i have an '18 altitude, besides the ride heights and terrain drives its the exact same
@@bbear88 I had an 18 altitude and just traded for a 2020 overland and it's much more luxurious the altitude is like a base model compared to the others
nappa leather and adaptive cruise is a must
Love the Grand Cherokee!
Beautiful! 😍 I think I’m going to to buy my Jeep.
The Hemi V8 is a must
I got the limited X v6 for the wife, I have Hemi on my Ram....
you can make a video of the altitude model?
I think overland is better and it's why they have a badge
I have a 2019 of this same Jeep. I wish I could’ve gotten those rims instead of the ones that came for 2019.
Enjoy it !!! Got a 2015 HA
The problem is that it only comes with black interior!
I opted out of the high altitude package for this reason. Overland with the dark sienna brown is pure class, and not seen in many reviews.
Can you review the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon, if it's available?
Mike Perez I can if I can find one!
Good job. Thanks
The high attitude is about same with Summit. I have 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit HEMI V8 but don’t know why the Limited X, High Attitude are looking same feature and nothing different compare the Summit
Summit ours is a 21, has chrome exhaust tips with our Hemi. Also suede like head liner. And no trim can get the Chrome or Platinum 20” Summit wheels. Even high alt. They are black. Unavailable on overland and the rest. Lighted Summit door seals. Etc.
My High Altitude is actually listed as an Overland on the window sticker
The hemi is pretty much 3 grand extra right?
Plus the cost of gas haha. I love v8’s but it’s not worth it with this inflation (for me at least). V6 is totally adequate
what inflation. Bidenomics@@mattbrown942
Does this model work in Florida? Just because of High Altitude and all. 😁
Hey, Ben. I really enjoy your review videos. I’m in the market for a new vehicle (I have a ‘07 Tahoe). Initially I was sold on a 1/2 ton pickup. I REALLY like the Ram 1500 Laramie, but also interested in the Toyota Tundra and Chevy Silverado. Before my Tahoe I drove a Laredo, which I really enjoyed. I will say, compared to your other review, you didn’t really seem like you enjoyed the Cherokee. If you had a choice, would you go with the Ram or the Cherokee?
Hey Ben could u review a 2020 Ford chassis cab like u did with the ram
Nicolas Calandro I’ll see what I can find!
Love it!
What is the stock window tint % on the driver and passenger side windows?
I love your videos and your details with the vehicles but the one thing that I please ask you to do is slow down you’re talking really fast and you’re moving from one thing to another really quickly it’s hard to see anything just saw your voice down and slow down your movements it would really help those of us that are trying to look at things keep up the good work and I hope you don’t mind advice
If anything happens to my girl I’d sure as hell would miss it, it’s one hella ride pretty sports car look alike
Summit trim a step higher and it’s nicer too….also gives wood on steering wheel…high altitude doesnt
This or the overland
Has Jeep released grand wagoneer??
AreFin Siddique not yet
did I miss it..no mention of the Harman Kardon sound system? oops I did.
OMG BRUHHHH......I just looked inside my magic underwear and I SWEAR Joseph Smith told me to tell you to SPEAK SLOWWWWWWERRRRRR........
Can someone tell me which of all of the models would be the "best" or the most packed Grand cherokee besides the trackhawk and srt ?
Summit
can you go back to the pov driving?
Love it
Whats the difference between this model and the limited X ?
Air suspension, Harmon kardon sound system, seat design..the limited x has the nice srt hood tho!
55G is this in Canada?
Are the Laredo x 2021 good Im sorry idk none about car but I been looking at it
$55K with no hitch. That’s an sUv
The hitch is hidden behind a panel in the rear lower
@@markdarnell2792 ok. I’m an idiot
@@johnviera3884 no your not, only the top models have the panel that comes off with 2 turn clips to access the trailer hitch and wiring. I only knew because our Summit is that way.
@@markdarnell2792 that’s awesome. I stumbled on this video while researching to buy a WK2. I bought a 2017 Limited with 26K miles. I love it so far. And of course, Im installing a hitch myself as we speak. Lol
Defiantly need to get the hemi
Eh...my ex has a 17 Summit. It's ok but dated a bit. I've got the RAM 1500...the JGC needs my display 😳
Apple car play?
No paddle shifters?
For paddle shifters you need to go with the Limited X package.
Horrible review! Talk about the ride quality is different than the other trims because it has AIR SUSPENSION, the high altitude has a lot of features you didn’t speak on, like the folding mirrors, adaptive cruise, etc.
#jeepforever
Dude take a breath once in a while
V6 though. Pshhh
Jeep Grand Cherokee or Range Rover?
Grand Cherokee easily
@@oklol9 I KNOW DAYS RIGHT!
Careful with your "Hill descent" pronunciation! Sounds like you say "He'll descent"! 😂
Tour too fast dude.
No time to waste 👌🏽
V6, no thanks, reminds me of fords v6 ecoboost trucks. The only Jeep worth buying now is the 3.0 Turbo Diesel, other than that, good luck with mpg, i dont care what they claim. Sorry, IM OUT!
Boring car
