    I had a 2015 Limited for 4 yrs. Was looking to get a Limited X cuz it looks so sporty and aggressive. Ended up getting a High Altitude and I love my Jeep❤ it’s so beautiful!!

    The air suspension makes a huge difference. I had a 2014 Altitude, just got a 2020 High Altitude. It feels much more substantial, much more quiet, and much more comfortable. As with anything you get what you pay for, being the high altitude is better.

    Absolutely no doubt . The 2019/2020 limited X looks absolutely phenomenal . It’s a testament to just how successful the grand Cherokee has been for Chrysler /fiat . It’s a shame that you can’t gets those awesome exteriors components on the Hight Altitude or Summit models . I personally think it’s a farewell thank you from Jeep to its fans giving them the option to make the middle of the road version Grand Cherokee X the nicest looking version of the whole lineup .🙂👍

    Both are really attractive models. Though the interior imo on the high altitude, along w options are better. I was in the market for the limited x but went in a different direction because in all reliability is an issue for me. That said they are nice and Jeep should give different interior color options to choose from which was a gripe for me.

    The cheapest trim level that you can get the air suspension is the Trailhawk. As far the differences go between the two, I would say the differences are more or less in the interior as I don’t like the seat design in the Limited X. The Limited X’s seat appearance is based off the early to mid 90’s Grand Cherokee Laredo seats.

      I own a 2015 Grand Cherokee Overland and love it. No extra options on top of the Overland trim level. I wish when Jeep redesigns the Grand Cherokee that they simplify the lineup as there are way too many redundant trim levels

    I have a 2011 black Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited luxury group. What the Overland’s have I have everything that the Overland’s have just not the Air suspension witch I didn’t care to have cause it drives so damn good all the time! I have the 5.7 in mine. 20 inch rims of course;) but I changed my stock intake to K&N cold air intake and I changed my stock exhaust to Corsa/Sport and it sounds damn nice! I get mush more better MPG and more Horse power and torque!!! Changing stock stuff to ur own stuff is what makes the difference in how it looks and drives and what u get from your engine! The one thing that I’ve done to my Jeep was I put White LED lights inside my grill shinning up so all u see is a grill all lighted up at night! 2 eyes and a mouth coming at you! But now these days getting all the bells and whistles ur going through packages to package to that package just to get what h want now. Then when I got my Jeep it was already there in a Limited! Overland is in my limited!

    Great video! I had a limited 75th anniversary edition. I traded it in for something else. I missed Jeep so I went back and got a Altitude. After I got it I saw the limited X and loved it. I kept the Altitude for a little while then went back a week ago Saturday to compare the high altitude and limited X. I ended up getting the limited X. I didn’t like the lane keep assist which I had on my previous highlander. I was also worried about the air suspension failing in the future. I chose a leftover X without a sunroof and was able to get it for 39. I never used my sunroof on my Altitude so I was willing to give it up for the discount.

    Air bags are prone to freezing in all FCA products in cold weather climates. You will need to go into settings and turn OFF your air suspension in the winter. The system vents air to remove moisture in humid locations. In cold locations the system will eventually freeze a blow the 40 amp fuse that controls this system.. so buy a bunch of fuses if you don’t have a heated garage in the northlands.

I had to get an SUV because my 2 year old is growing up and my 2017 mustang GT is not ideal daily drive for us anymore ( trust me i was heartbroken to let go of my muscle car 😞😭😞 ). I guess, for me, it feels weird with the constant change of suspension height depends on the MPH. I wish it could of stay in one height and just change it whenever i feel like it. ( i came from 3 generation of mustang ). But other than that i love it.

    Went from a 2017 GC Limited 5.7 V8 (yes, the V8 was available back then for the limited trim level) to a 2020 GC High Altitude with V8, air suspension, 19 speaker stereo…I love driving it. If you are in traffic, it’s easy to drive and powerful. If you get in the mood to drive a sports car, push the Sport button and the suspension firms up and drops down, the transmission recalibrates to shift very quickly and the steering firms up. It’s an amazing vehicle, particularly with the V8. And, runs on regular unleaded. Now, I am trying to decide if I want to get the new body style…

      I've owned by 4x4 Limited X for about 7 months now and I love it so much. I personally went with the X because I had the Altitude package and wanted something slightly different. Haven't really experienced a whole lot of rain with this car but I've had no problems with it so far. The panorama moon roof is so worth it. If you don't live in a place where you need air suspension it's really unnecessary. They're far more expensive to fix in the long term as well. I was very torn between the 2 models when I was shopping but I personally love the look of the limited X. The hood and rims add a very nice touch to it.

    Good review quick comparison video between the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X and the Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude. From exterior there are couple minor differences between the two trim levels. There are few more differences found on the interior between the two trims. My trim level of choice between these two would be the High Altitude due to having more standard features and a more upscale interior look. For that trim level I would've gotten it nicely equipped with the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine. I'm on agreeable terms with you that overall the current generation Jeep Grand Cherokee feels dated. From 2011 until now a new design is well over due. Since that time until now I think either one or two mid cycle refresh designs took place, but it's time for a new generation rise to surface though. Despite the dated look each year that comes by the Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles are doing well in sales. I don't know how Jeep did it, but overall sales are pretty good for this soon to be outgoing generation Jeep Grand Cherokee. The upcoming new generation 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee will be unveiled/released this coming year in 2021 as the 2022 model year. Initially, the new generation should've gotten released in one of the fall months this year in 2020 as the 2021 model year, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic things got pushed back one year. So, this coming year 2021 we should all see the new generation 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee. I think in either May or June it'll get unveiled at a Conference. Then, maybe couple or few months later it'll be available for purchase at dealerships. I currently have the 3rd generation Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Limited trim. That body style is from 2005 to 2010. I have intentions on getting the upcoming 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee. I will not get the first year of the new generation though. The first year is the 2022 model year, so for me I'll wait and get either the 2023 or the 2024 model year. Based on info I got from couple sources, the new generation Jeep Grand Cherokee will have few more advanced safety features on top of what's currently available in the current generation 4th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee. In addition to new advanced safety features, other new features will include a model offering 3rd row seating (this will be the first time ever a Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicle will have that), surround view/360° view camera, HUD (Heads Up Display), rotary dial shifter, foot activated lift gate, power folding rear seats and etc. The third generation Jeep Grand Cherokee I have is in the Limited trim with a 4.7 liter V8 engine. At the time I wanted to get it with the 5.7 liter HEMI V8, but it wasn't available. The 4.7 liter V8 engine got discontinued when 2011 came around. When I get the new generation Jeep Grand Cherokee I'll get it in the Overland trim level with the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 and 3rd row seating (a model with the usual 2 rows of seats will still be available). The current 5.7 liter HEMI V8 produces 360 horsepower with 390 pound feet of torque. Expect those two numbers to increase when the new 5.7 liter HEMI V8 becomes available for the new Jeep Grand Cherokee. Depending on how things might go in terms of pricing differences, I might get the new generation Jeep Grand Cherokee in the SRT trim. That'll be a nice powerhouse there. I would have to see how things go when the time comes. 2021 should be a good year for Jeep.

      @@JB_WhoWork You're welcome. Anytime. When the time comes for me to get the 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee either for the 2023 or the 2024 model year, I'll still keep the 3rd generation one I currently have. I'll just use it as a secondary or emergency vehicle and the new one will be my daily driver. In addition to the new features I mentioned in my general post, another thing that'll be new for the upcoming 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee from a mechanical standpoint is that transmission will have an e-torque mechanism. I'm not sure about the details of how this mechanism works, but I'm sure it's to make improvements somewhere some how. The new generation RAM 1500 pickup trucks have this e-torque mechanism on the transmissions. One more thing that'll be new for the new Jeep Grand Cherokee is a 10.1 inch infotainment screen. Certain trim levels or packages will get that screen size because the 8.4 inch screen will still be available. I'm not sure if you remember the Jeep Wagoneer from years ago. If you do, well Jeep will be bringing it back. Currently in the Jeep lineup they have couple sub compact SUVs, a compact SUV and a midsize SUV, but no full size SUV. Well, this coming year 2021 that will change. They will have a full size SUV in their lineup next year. Their full size SUV line will be the Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer. These two vehicles will compete well with the Lincoln Navigator/Navigator L, Cadillac Escalade/Escalade ESV, Infiniti QX80, BMW X7, Mercedes Benz GLS, Ford Expedition/Expedition Max, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL. The Wagoneer will compete with the regular full size SUVs while the Grand Wagoneer will compete with the luxury brand full size SUVs. Should be good.

      Only the Summit, SRT8, and Trackhawk have them now.
      If you look at their website the picture shows headlight washers but the physical vehicles don't have them.
      Oh well, I guess it doesn't make a huge difference.

    "...lipstick on a pig." I have to agree 100%. Their cars look great, but most of FCA's lineup is a decade old, Grand Cherokee, Challenger, Charger, Durango, etc. Either their designers are too lazy or they are playing the margin game just like Apple who keeps polishing up old tech and marking up the prices. I've been waiting on a Challenger redesign for a while now. I may just have to pick up the upcoming 2021 Grand Cherokee instead, not waiting on the Challenger anymore.

    • @JB_WhoWork
      @JB_WhoWork  4 года назад +1

      Yea it sucks as I think with everything going on, no one is going to launch a new model right now so it could be a couple more years before we start hearing about a new Challenger.... Grand Cherokee should be here soon but it’s being held off probably late 2021 2022.
      I would pick up a charger but that interior is really hard to look past even with my discounts...

    • @JB_WhoWork
      @JB_WhoWork  4 года назад +1

      Probably not much different than on the Highlander. As I mentioned in the video I had 3 JGC and had absolutely no problems. I would avoid the air suspension if you are really concerned because thats probably the only thing that could give issues in high mileage.

    Jeep out did themselves with the WK2 since its initial launch in 2010 and it has improved almost 100% since then. A new design is always welcomed, but I can't see anything better than this. Lipstick on a pig as it may be - if it aint broke dont fix it.
