I ran against a dodge charger srt with my ‘16 overland 5.7 hemi with no problems. Granted on a longer run he would’ve smoked me, but knowing that i have a mid sized suv that can match race cars on my platform and still have off-road capability is mind blowing. Plus it’s comfortable and stylish! I’m proud to be a Jeep owner!
Good Video! Just something I would like to see , is if you are doing a review on something that is missing an option. Maybe you could explain what the blank spaces are. EX. where the air ride suspension buttons would be were blank on this jeep. Keep it up! I like your stuff.
i just traded in my 2015 srt for An S limited V8...srt great but hard seats and not relevant for city use unless you want to crash into a shopping centre!
Truck is so bad ass I’m getting mine in April next year. I have the 17 white on black Ram 1500 night Edition. My truck is fast but this has got to be much faster it’s prob a 1,000 pounds lighter 😈
Never heard of this model but damn this is bad ass...The real question is how comfortable are the front seats. I didn't like the SRT because it was very cramped feeling, is this a little roomier?
Ben, I'm looking at two Jeeps back home (NJ), the V6 Slate Blue, or a Black V8. Both 4x4, Limited X... Great review, but I haven't seen any of them in pictures
Why would they put the srt/trackhawk hood on this? This hood should be srt only and a demon style hood for the trackhawk to set them apart. No wonder trackhawks are just sitting on dealer lots
That was the initial hype. Lots of suckers paid msrp or above to be “first” with trackhawk. Now they are discounted 10k or more and still sitting on dealer lots. They need to add some design elements to the go fast bits and they would move a lot more than the initial interest
Microtransactions my point is it’s dumb to have the same appearance package on a 30-40k limited x as their top of the line beast trackhawk. That’s why they are selling like shit
@@michaelthompson4178 my 2019 Limited 3.6 is very quick for a V6. I am surprised at how much it is able to get up and go for being nearly 5000lbs. It hangs onto gears a little long though if that makes sense and could be a bit more responsive. Sport mode helps a bit.
The difference is the adjustable air suspension. I’ve had my Overland for 5 years and I’ve used that $5,000 option once and that was when I decided to drive up a curb so I can see how it works. Love these jeeps but who needs to raise their already raised SUV 2 inches constantly
I just picked this up for my wife, we had an 11 overland and I agree the only time I adjusted the suspension was in the driveway when I bought it so love this model, saved a bunch and still got a nice sporty hemi GC.
yeah.. because girls definitely know what an SRT is , let alone a trackhawk, haha. The reality is most people dont know the difference between a 100k trackhawk vs a 30k laredo. Only car guys can appreciate the SRT/TH. I'm glad to see this SRT trim available in the limited though. Might trade my SRT for the Limited-X

Wow the 5.7 sounds great. I wasn’t expecting the stock exhaust on this Limited X to sound that good.
Picking my 2021 X up tomorrow. Yee haw! V6 though. Can't find one with a 5.7.
So Limited X in USA = S-Limited in australia good to know thanks chrysler couldn’t you just use the same nameplate
Nice looking SUV if only had updated their surround sound in this Particular model
Nothing on the road messing with the durango and grand. I hope they dont screw up the next gen.
and they did 😂
@@bluehunnids887 styling wise..
So many different trims for this SUV. This is clearly a sales gimmick now LOL!!!
It's like $30-40k cheaper and still has a v8. Not bad if you don't need all that power.

Also scratched when you opened trunk.
Honestly these things have hardly changed in years. May as well buy low mile used
If you go with a used one it’s not new.

$ 5,000 more for a different hood? Makes sense!
Michael Vatter and extra 3 grand for the v8 engine

Yes It's Me Seating room is the same, but seat bolsters are a little less aggressive.
@@BenHardyCars Well, unfortunately, it is a No from me then, I don't like a vehicle that size and feels cramped mentally makes no sense to me lol.
1:31 very satisfying 😂😂
I got the altitude but almost got the limited x. They just didn’t have it in the color I wanted.
Are you from Canada?
onextoronto no from the US
@@reginaalear The reason I asked because there are very less colors and no 4*2 in Canada
reginaalear what color did you get it in??
This is the model of Jeep that I was looking for; Have you seen the Slate Blue anywhere outside a dealership or online?
Jason Leck I have not!

@@Manjason08 Thank you I really appreciate it and like I said in my review, I would go for the hemi!

They're sitting on lots because of the price🤣😂
Because it's just appearance you still need to pony up the 100k to get that 707 hp

GS300 Rich 30 to 40k where u getting those numbers my Jeep limited x with hemi was 55k
We have the 2019 grand Cherokee altitude V6, it has a ton of power, but this looks like something I’d lease, big fan of the hemi!
Sir Eminence once you go hemi, it’s hard to go back
Tons of power??? I have a 2016 75th Anniversary with the V6, thing is slow as shit. Like driving a big brick. Looks mean but that's about it.

Whats the difference betweeb S and X trim?
Are these more reliable then the srt 6.4?
Anyone seen the Slate Blue in person. Saw a few pictures looked different In a good way
Maximum Steel Metallic was the best Blue offered by Jeep. 2015-16 seasons only. True Blue is ugly. Slate blue is so-so!
Nice video. Maybe keep your hands on the wheel and move your watch when you’re stopped.
James Cockriel thank you and broke that watch, so nothing to fidget with now😂
I like the burble
The only thing I wanna see keep step up with this car is the safety. This truck performed the worst I've seen during a crash test
Are the seats comfortable? The limited seats are kinda hard
kckrol85 they were fine to me, but I’m only 21
Literally just bought the same model and
Why would i get a limited x v8? I would go high altitude if i were going v8.
SRT Hood, better looking rims, $5K cheaper
Jesse Kolchagov I prefer everything on the high altitude but that’s just me lol.

twenty nine jeep
How tall are you
So an SRT for people who don’t want any of the fun of an SRT motor, got it.
Nick Droege 🤔😂
It's still a 5.7 hemi, but 20k cheaper.
What model is this truck based off
G STAR Grand Cherokee limited
Really? It's the (LIMITED) x smh
How much does a car like this go for?@BenHardy
Hudson Luessenhop mid 50s before discounts.
Ben Hardy with discounts would it possibly go in the high 40s?
Hudson Luessenhop Yes there are several including that black one that are at that price.
