I just got a 2023 as well - I have had a Jeep Grand Cherokee since 2005, then 2008, Jeep Cherokee Limited 2022 and upgraded to the Jeep Grand Cherokee L Laredo 2023.
I traded my scat for a limited x last week because I always had people checking it out. Kinda like a peace of mind now and don’t have to worry about airtagging and sketchy people around it.
I have an 80th anniversary all decked out. I love the trim already has the LEDs, tow package for the better brakes and larger gas tank. sun and sound system love the alpines. I still get 18 MPG on average to about 21. Already had the rims I wanted and 20s on it. Just ran it in the snow and cold no issues put some michelin crossclimate 2 on it and they are so much better than the tires that came with it.
Love my 2020 Altitude with the V6. I luckily got the HEMI lust out of my system with my last car, an R/T Charger. It keeps me out of trouble having a 6 cylinder lol
I have a 2017 Grand Cherokee SRT and I absolutely love it. Had it for over 2 years now and it has not lost its novelty. Nothing compares to that 6.4L V8 Hemi. Had a tranny issue where the torque converter contaminated the tranny with metal shards at 72k miles (supposedly a known issue for these GCs?), so that was a nice chunk of change out of pocket. Next to go are probably the brakes. Torn on whether I should keep it or not. The high cost of parts is really what's tough to deal with. Hard to let it go! Anything from here is a downgrade.
This is the only channel I am subscribed to! I love my 2020 Limited X 5.7 - With many bolt ons and a custom tune, it's a baby SRT. (also getting around 19 MPG around town when I am chill)
Actually I had a Grand Cherokee x red velvet upgraded Hood. Panoramic roof leather power seats 84 screen nicer rims with parolee tires dual exhaust and trailer hitch. With a 3.6 l great vehicle.🇺🇲
I have a 2011 Jeep grade Cherokee overland 5.7L Himie I’ve changed damn near everything on it within a year and not by choice either just this past Christmas I had to spend 1600 bucks to put it in the shop and get a oil leak fixed which was coming from the rear main seal and pan gasket 🤦♂️ now I’m thinking about trading it for the SRT THATS WHY IM HERE BRO😊
Great information.. I have a 2021 grand Cherokee Laredo X freedom edition, all blacked out, performance like no other ... probably holding on to it till the 2025"
2011 Grand Cherokee with 188K and YES since 2015 we have spent a buttload on repairs, maintenance, and just keeping from buying ANYTHING else. After we get it back from its numerous bouts with dealerships, it has been "cheaper" than a car loan. This list would be several paragraphs.
I own a Trackhawk. If you don’t have money to blow, don’t buy one. I bought it brand new in February 2022. I no have 40k miles. I have to get new tires once a year, brake pads every 6 months, and brake pads and rotors every 6 months after that. Tires $2800 Brakes and rotors $4000 Gas, I get 9 mpg
Saying that you can not tow with 3.6 and 300 horse powers is bad! I know that Americans don't care about mileage, but for example in my country in Europe, with the minimum salary per hour you can buy 1.85 litres of petrol and with the minimum USA salary per hour you can buy 7.18 litres. This means that in the purer country the gas/petrol is higher price than the country with much higher lifestyle. As far as I understand in USA the petrol 95 is around 1$ and in Germany is almost 2$ which is almost twice the price.
Thanks man, actually I picked up the Laredo 4x4 I’m not going off road need a decent family daily SUV it’s still 4 wheel drive and also more power but I’m coming from the 8th Gen civic guys this is a god damn world changer for me lol. On my path to the wagoneer I love it. My lease ends in 36 months it’s crazy expensive but hopefully the market calms down soon. I will say, so far I love this experience. I really do. Just started blacking out all the chrome so it’s the altitude appearance package, same platform. I just didn’t spend $6000 extra lol One more thing I do see a lot of hate in the road form other jeep grand Cherokee’s how does the community see the new WL platform? I love it! I think it’s really modern and sleek. But wow they really hate on this vehicle
I just bought my 2018 Grand Cherokee Lerado 6 months ago. For the price it really does come with a lot of great features. I also installed the K&N cold air intake. I was wondering if you have any recommendations for headlights that are LEDs, but not bulbs like I want a complete enclosure to be LEDs.
Nice!! There’s a couple different brands that have them but I don’t want to recommend anything I haven’t seen myself - I do know it’s a big process when I looked into it
Option one to improve your standard halogen headlights is to hit up your junkyards for '14-'16 Xenon OEM Jeep Grand Cherokee headlights. (These will have the cool "paperclip" or "switchback" LED DRL). Just be aware that if you buy these, you'll need to be sure that you get the module boxes AND wiring harnesses along with them. Installation will also be a pretty big chore to switch them over. This option, even if self-installed, will cost you between $800 and $1,200 - as the stock used Xenon's in good condition are going for between $400 and $600 each from everywhere. AVOID the OEM lights with AFS (the ones that turn in sync with steering)...I've heard they're nothing but trouble and a complete nightmare to install. The second, (and best option in my opinion), for complete enclosure LED's is the Morimoto XB headlight set. Model # is LF278. They're abso-f'ing-lutely amazing!! But, they're also $1,800 msrp. However, they do offer $150 trade-in on your old halogens. For that $1,800 (or $1,650), you get: Plug & Play Wiring. Fitment for ALL '14-'22 Grand Cherokee WK2's. A DRL paperclip/switchback that changes to yellow on top to double as your turn signal, THREE bi-led capsules in each light, a WICKED startup sequence, ~5x lux brightness over stock halogens, a 5-year warranty, and free shipping. So...all things considered...if I had $1,200 to buy up a pristine set of OEM Xenon's, I'd wait for Morimoto to run a sale on their LF278's instead. There's no way I'm personally paying $1,800...or even $1,650 for them...but if they get them down closer to the $1k to $1,200 mark, I'll probably bite. If your pockets are deep enough though...please...STILL wait for a sale!! A huge cause of inflation is that people keep buying expensive luxuries they don't need, regardless of the price.
In fact, it is no more difficult to maintain it than toyota 4runner original spare parts go and serve for a long time! Do not forget this is an SUV and many operate them outside the asphalt in the mountains and so on, in fact it is a truck and in control like a tank! Let 's take the time-tested technologies of the beginning of 2000. This is not an electronic toy like a Mercedes or a BMV!! This is a utilitarian truck!! i know jeep grand cherokee 3.6 2013 now 567.000 km on it and all ok, relieble suv

I current have a 2021 Limited X 5.7 but I was looking for an SRT which I couldn't find at a reputable dealer in NY 10 months ago. Just found a used Trackhawk with the same mileage as my 5.7 and I'm thinking about trading. Thoughts?
@BJP LIFESTYLE Cool. I'm going to go check it out tomorrow. Gotta be honest though, I'm nervous about a used SRT or Trackhawk because you can never be certain whether it was abused by the previous owner as far constant pulls or burnouts..... boys will be boys with a fast car. Lol
@@neva4selfthey’re built for that, be all good bro ha! Ones driven harder actually dyno higher than ones that were babies. It’s actually worse to drive it slow than fast, carbon build up
@@moosestanggangI hear you but there's a difference between driving it fast and beating it up. I'd go as far as saying that at least half of the people who drive fast cars don't break it in properly. Even if it means your breaking it in hard to seat the piston rings properly, most people won't heat cycle the engine correctly. Even after break in, just mashing the gas pedal all day is not the way lol. I ended up buying a 2021 JGC SRT with 5K miles on it. So far so good, I like the upgrade and I'm not disappointed at all.
OMG, so much verbiage with hardly any content. I’m looking for someone going through all the trims and saying what they come with as standard features “yada yada”. Anyway, we just put a deposit on an Altitude after comparing it to Limited X … it’s just crazy how many trims and mixed packages you need to compare to figure it all out - so we gave up upgraded 500W stereo for having LED headlights like SRT. Also it only had 7k miles on a 2020😉
I have a 2020 Limited X 5.7L, and while I'm supper happy with the hood, it unfortunately DOES NOT come with the SRT front bumper. It really should, though. Would save me some money, because I swear she needs that front bumper. Because BETH (Baby-Engined TrackHawk) deserves the BEST!!! She's White, has an exhaust and intake, and 295/45-ZR20's on older SRT wheels. Plus the [HOONIGAN] decals catch some attention. Mostly my PD / LEO Buddies in Blue. 😁
While I love most aspects of my WK2, I found out that the WORST part about the newer Grand Cherokees is the fact that the standard 4x4 is actually an AWD system; while the true, locking-differential 4x4 options are only commonly found within the higher trims. If you're buying used, finding a Base/Laredo that was factory-custom optioned (specially ordered) with the locking Quadra-Trac II or Quadra-Drive II 4x4 system is a rarity. Instead, you'll most likely have step up and pay extra for a Limited, Overland or Summit trim package which was standard-equipped with one of the locking 4x4 systems. The problem?? Most people who actually want to take their WK's off-road and have fun don't necessarily want all the bells & whistles options on the higher trim levels - while at the same time, the people who DO want all that posh crap will probably NEVER take their Grand Cherokee on a trail or off-road in its lifetime. Luckily, I found a '14 Limited with the Quadra-Trac II that had some dings and scratches on the doors for a great price - so, in the end, those imperfections more than offset the price of all those unnecessary gizmos. Plus, with it already having a few body blemishes from the original owner, I wasn't hesitant to take it off-roading. 👍 While I realize this bass-ackwards trim-package tiering scheme of the 4x4 systems was a designed financial play from Chrysler/Stellantis/Jeep's accounting division (aka "bean counters") to make even more money on their net Grand Cherokee sales, the Jeep community should have balked at the '14-'22 WK2's.
You are just like me in this aspect. However, Jeeps are kind of like pistols. You want a pistol to be reliable, concealable, great for personal defense, and also target shooting, but less than $500. I can tell you, you may get two out of three of those (which, Meatloaf was right, that ain't bad), but there's no one pistol for every occasion. That's why you get multiples! And you BUILD what you want in a Jeep because, let's face it, there's no actual Jeep application that honestly allows you to build what you want from the factory! My '77 CJ7 with a 360 punched 0.030" over with headers and cam and 650CFM Holley Double Pumper isn't exactly what my 2004 GC Limited was, and nothing like my 2020 Limited X 5.7L is. I say NEVER make the perfect Jeep. Just own the perfect Jeep Collection! 😉
@@heavenst.murgatroyd3128 Your "pistol" analogy was my point to a degree, but not quite. It's nothing but a pure marketing scheme by Jeep to commonly equip (if not standard-equip) the "fancy" grocery-getter JGC trim levels with the bona-fide locking differential 4x4 systems, while making it an option-order-only for the base trims. Doing this forces those who just want a good, rugged, dependable, semi-basic 4x4 SUV to also buy things they don't want, will rarely use, make the vehicle much heavier, more fragile, and more expensive to repair. In reference to your gun analogy, it would be more like Ruger giving you the option to either buy a simple, black-nitride .38spl snub-nose revolver WITHOUT any cylinder included...OR, if you want a complete, working pistol WITH a cylinder, making you buy it in a "range/gear package" with a bright chrome finish, picatinny rails installed all over it, a 5-25x50 FFP rifle scope on top, a bipod underneath, Oakley range glasses, a heated leather jacket, hand warmers, a special edition i-Pod with Harman-Kardon earmuffs, and a 50" Pelican case with keyless biometric entry and an electric-opening lid to hold it all. Jeep needs to offer a "Purist's Package" on all their vehicles. Give it the top-tier 4x4 system, upgraded trans/diffs/axles with a 5-6spd manual option, BFG tires, steel wheels, A/C, vinyl floors & mats, steel bumpers and/or guards, ACTUAL skid plates, water resistant and stain proof poly seats, a radio and 4 speakers standard. DONE. Everything else is optional if you want to add it.

@@BJPLIFESTYLE funny thing I was doing oil changes every 3000 miles, maybe go with the time ? Guess is the time the engine has been running in between oil changes. The only suggestion I can give is not let the engine idle for to long periods of time. I believe oil won't reach the lifters below 1000 revolutions per minute, and this is what happened to me.

Don’t know if you’re still looking but look for 4x4 jeep in the trailhawk, overland, summit, and high altitude trims. Altitude, Laredo and limited can have 4x4 but will not have the air suspension.
I am sorry, but I didn't find the video Content to be particularly relevant to the video's Title, "Why You Should AVOID These Jeep Grand Cherokees". Thank you. ~ Jeremy ~
@BJP LIFESTYLE It happens. No disrespect was meant. I was only pointing out that this video didn't resonate with me. The title lead me to believe that there would be specific YEARS and SUB-MODELS named and specific problems that they are prone to. Usually, it is the first 1-3 years of a model after a major restyling of the vehicle that presents the most problems to the buyer and it takes to manufacturer a few years to sort out and correct the problems. Thank you. ~ Jeremy ~

2018 jeep summit with 34k miles and they want 31k . Is that bad deal ???
You’ll have to check your area & test drive it to see!
Idk 🤷♂️ I found a 19 5.7 limited with 60k for 24k 😅seems like a big difference
.iFound a 21 with 42k for 24 v8 5.7
While I realize this bass-ackwards trim-package tiering scheme of the 4x4 systems was a designed financial play from Chrysler/Stellantis/Jeep's accounting division (aka "bean counters") to make even more money on their net Grand Cherokee sales, the Jeep community should have balked at the '14-'22 WK2's.
I have a 2000 jeep grand chorekee 4.7 v8 limited with the Quadra drive thing so I can lock and unlock

Jeep
This is too weird cause I’m actually looking at the same two cars. Trying to decide what to buy tomorrow. What did you end your doing if you see this lol
Camry is slow, stinger has a useless back seat. Jeep is the Best Buy to me anyways

2014 Jeep srt lifters @80,000miles/ 9k@the dealer
I’m not gonna do any maintenance anymore and see what happens 🤣
@@BJPLIFESTYLE funny thing I was doing oil changes every 3000 miles, maybe go with the time ? Guess is the time the engine has been running in between oil changes. The only suggestion I can give is not let the engine idle for to long periods of time. I believe oil won't reach the lifters below 1000 revolutions per minute, and this is what happened to me.
I have an 18 Altitude and love it. It has everything I wanted.
Nice! I loved mine as well
Really would like to watch episode about all trim levels 🙏
Bro you still pushing srt
I own a 14 Laredo what do you suggest as to lower or lift it I don't go off Road but I do have all 4 seasons of weather where I live and she loves the snow now lol I'll send pics it has the 3.6 and the 8speed auto with stationary shifter lol no trans dipstick tube all side and top fill
Put air suspension on it. You can lower or lift the damn thing at will. 🍿
you should try the all new jeep grand cherokee!
I haveThe 2021 grand Cherokee L limited love it
Nice!!
Limited x doesnt have the srt front bumper

Looking to get a v8 Hemi don’t really care for what trim but definately looking for Quadra drive , how can you tell if it it has QDll if buying a used grand Cherokee?
Don’t know if you’re still looking but look for 4x4 jeep in the trailhawk, overland, summit, and high altitude trims. Altitude, Laredo and limited can have 4x4 but will not have the air suspension.
Great video vato loco
Appreciate you bro!
I am sorry, but I didn't find the video Content to be particularly relevant to the video's Title, "Why You Should AVOID These Jeep Grand Cherokees".
Thank you.
~ Jeremy ~
Sorry you felt that way boss 💪🏻
@BJP LIFESTYLE
It happens.
Thank you.

yes avoid so i can buy in the future!!! lmao cant wait seriouly

I really like the look of the Grand Cherokee.........but with Soooo many problems, Who in their Right Mind would want to own one?
I unsubscribed, the last few videos I have watched is all fluff with clickbait topics... it is like you churn out videos just for views with intentionally no real content...
Idk which videos you watched, but you do you gang 🤙🏻
you wouldn't even have a RUclips channel if it wasn't for Jeep Cherokees 🤣
