👍🏽❤ I do both. Finger and brush. I finger detangle most of the time starting on dry hair and missy of the time. I use the brush maybe once a month.

So pretty - you really don't need makeup at all. 😊
Appreciate those tips from both detangling videos.

My hair is thriving washing every 2 weeks, but if I go longer, especially if I wear it out.. THE TANGLE IS SO REAL !!😩 I'm hi-po, 3b/c and WL when wet/ or blown out. Light protein has helped, but I cannot do the everyday wash and go lifestyle. It's mostly up in a PS.

Great tips!😊I have high porosity hair and have started incorporating finger detangling because it’s easy on my hair.

I do some finger detangling to remove the shed hairs before I use my wet brush and conditioner in the shower. My hair doesn't tangle very much, because I keep it stretched. The shower water and the wet brush slide through my conditioned hair like butter.

Nice! I know some people who do both as well and their hair is flourishing and they retain length. Keep doing what's working best for you

@@NowIAmNappy I can detangle my hair with just water. it goes straight under the water, but I like brushing the conditioner through it.

Thank you Michelle for taking time to do this video are usually finger to tango, but I’ve been doing it all wrong. I take all of my fingers from the top and go straight through instead of starting from the bottom. And I’m like you with the leave in conditioners I can’t decide which one I like best because they both work so great on my find strands.

@@NowIAmNappy thank you 😊 I hope & pray 🙏🏿 it works bc my follicles grow & then they start miniaturizing again & go back way - way under the scalp & then I have to start all over again. I’m going to have to find something that works & stick to that & give up watching all these videos once I do lol 😝

I started only finger detangling and retained more length. Now I do both because I’m lazy lol

I feel you, it does take a little more time than a comb but great for length retention.
