Elden Ring pvp: Smithscript Greathammer invasions (sacred infused)

Unfortunately all the clips in this video are out of date. These invasions all happened just the day before the most recent patch gutted all the smithscript weapons. I already had the video done by then and didn't want all this footage to go to waste though so here it is. I was planning to mention the actual best thing about the smithscript hammer and the other smithscript weapons in general but now I'd say to just don't bother with any of them now. I want a refund on my ancient dragon stones Miyazaki. Oh well at least I landed a surprising amount of R2s in this video I guess.

I’m glad that FromSoft was pretty quick to fix/tweak stuff like Nanaya’s Torch and the Fire Knight Greatsword, but what they did to the Smithscript weapons is just tragic…

Yeah and the erdsteel dagger was untouched even though its """bugged""" in the same way. I mean can they at least make the smithscript R2s actually do damage if nothing else?

Due to its natural fth scaling, giving it fth related infusions adds a hefty chunk of physical damage on top of the holy damage. It can basically reach straightsword level damage but on a dagger with the right setup and infusion. The smithscript weapons worked the exact same way, except they have natural fth and int scaling so sacred, flame art, magic, and cold infusions were double dipping into your fth and int stats leading to huge damage.

@@pitshoster401I knew something had to be up with erdsteel daggers. Even at 70 fth those things are outpacing my flame art infused fire knights daggers by a lot. Super disappointed since I wanted to use them on my pyromancer but they’re the objectively worse choice damage wise.

Don’t complain about the nerf. If you were using elements you were doing it wrong anyways. Your set up WILL be 80 STRENGTH, two hand talisman, Heavy affinity lions claw, crucible knight hammer helm. That’s it coward.
