Just beat the last boss yesterday after a week plus. Souls games are truly something special, so few things even outside of video games give me such blissful triumph. Amazing game, amazing experience.
Agreed, im on my 2nd playthrough of the dlc and man its something special. From my experience the dlc is about adapting to overcome a problem. Everyone is going in with these glass cannon builds and getting obliterated. Relanna and Radahn are the best in dlc imo. Both excellent fights, thou most of the rememberence boss are pretty high up there.
Messmer was the best fight, just a fair, balanced and fun 1v1. Rellana was a close second. I enjoyed soloing every boss in the dlc except Radahn, I can't believe he took me over 7 hours, on the 4 hour mark he was still pulling out new moves I had never seen before in second phase. And I don't like shield and tanky builds, I've seen streamers like Asmon beat Radahn by tanking everything and its lame, if I did that I wouldnt be able to use his remembrance without shame. I feel good using boss remembrance because I took them down in an epic 1v1 fight. Plus I can say my elden ring lore is that my tarnished defeated everything by himself
I find that the biggest problem with most players in souls games is that they don’t learn the boss and panic roll a lot and the biggest factor is they are impatient making rash and deadly decisions there is no restriction on what you can use to fight him and you can take your time but there is no need to rush through

I watched a lot of streamers play the DLC before I sat down to play it and was fully prepared for a hard battle with every single enemy and a lot of rage quitting. Dancing Lion I beat first try, Rellana I beat first try so far and I'm a noob compared to these guys. Elden Ring is only as hard as you make it, and rushing this game makes it way way harder imo

Its not that difficult to understand that other people doesn't think/act the same way as you or anyone you know. The streamers here are either playing it up/ genuinely upset and confused/ or is pressured to make a progress for their audience.
