Those Privacy options are not available on High Sierra. I'm using a late 2009 iMac that I refurbished myself. Should I upgrade the OS?

I just checked, and macOSX 10.13.6 is the highest OS I can upgrade to on this machine. If there's some other way to change the video capture permissions in High Sierra that I'm missing, I'daappreciate if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks for the info.

I like your video. Sadly, this did not fix my webcam issue on my desktop Mac. I am getting a display capture, but my video capture device is still showing a black screen. It was working for a while, but then it stopped. It might have something to do with the fact that I changed something to deal with seeing multiple screens in the display window. I have checked in settings under camera and OBS is selected. I do not know what else to try. You seem very knowledgeable and I hope you can help me.

In the main OBS window, click the + sign under Sources (near the bottom, next to Scene), add a video source, such as Display, and that should do it.
