I have a similar capture card but when I connect it all up follow set up instructions I get Not supported on screen on OBS ,is it something I am doing or what is happening 🤷🏼♀️
ok first off. This 100% works, every single time. Here is where you may be going wrong. 1) Check to make sure you have your console's video output set to 1080p 60fps. I don't care if your console CAN do 4k, you are not capturing in 4k. So the capture card can only support resolutions up to 1080p 60 fps. Unless the capture card can support above that. Which I STILL WOULDN'T DO! Because you can't stream in 4k on Twitch. 2) Make sure that you have HDCP DISABLED in PlayStation Settings. Go to SETTINGS > SYSTEM > HDMI > Make sure HDCP is disabled. After this it should 100% work.
You realise when you said "Put the HDMI Cable in the Output Slot" U put the cable in the input slot. I don't know if you mean't to say input, I was just making sure you was aware.
I am wondering about mic and headphones, do i connect my headphones to my controller, but then i cant here the pc/ stream or do i plug it into the capture card. My mic is connected to my audio mixer so i cant plug my mic into the capture card
"do i connect my headphones to my controller" No. Your audio mixer will likely have a headphone OUT port. Plug your headphones into the mixer then on the streaming computer, set your audio output to the audio mixer. That way all the audio from the game will be heard through your headphone that are plugged into the mixer. And you will also be able to monitor your voice audio.

Can i record video with it?
Hello, Step #1 you mention taking the USB out of the monitor or tv and putting it into the input on the capture card but your inserting it into the output. Step#2 your taking another HDMI and inserting it into the input HDMI and step #4 putting it back into the tv. You don't cover the first HDMI cable to where that goes as a destination? Does that go back into the PS5? I have tried both variations but to no avail. I am not getting a picture from the Ps5 on my laptop or my monitor so I must be missing something. Please let me know what you think and appreciate your content man. Keep up the great work!
I just noticed I am using the normal 4k Ultra video capture card and not the 3.0 USB. Would this make a difference? Thanks!
Hmm... I felt like the video is quite clear if you listen to the instructions.
in your case:
PlayStation 5 --> HDMI Input on Capture Card --> 2nd HDMI cable plugged into HDMI Output on capture card --> Other end of 2nd HDMI cable into TV or monitor.
USB cable into your PC or Mac from Capture card.
Thanks so much it was late and I wasn’t comprehending the instructions. Thank you for the help!

Me to
Did it work
ok first off.
@@FornaTRONyea but it won’t let me play my games when I turn that off

I am wondering about mic and headphones, do i connect my headphones to my controller, but then i cant here the pc/ stream or do i plug it into the capture card. My mic is connected to my audio mixer so i cant plug my mic into the capture card
"do i connect my headphones to my controller" No. Your audio mixer will likely have a headphone OUT port. Plug your headphones into the mixer then on the streaming computer, set your audio output to the audio mixer. That way all the audio from the game will be heard through your headphone that are plugged into the mixer. And you will also be able to monitor your voice audio.
i have this exact same capture card but when playing games it only hears the voices of characters within the games it doesn’t pick up any other gameplay sounds of the environment such as music, explosions, or anything like that. is there a way to fix that?
Reseat the HDMI cable coming from your console to the capture card. Or replace it.

If you have a high refresh rate monitor (anything about 60hz) Don't use the HDMI output from the capture card to plug into your monitor.
Go from GPU > Monitor
then use the HDMI from your GPU > Capture card
Treat the capture card like a 2nd monitor. And install OBS on your PC and setup a "Display Capture" in sources, choose your main monitor. Then have it mirror out to the capture card.
If none of that made sense, you should not be trying to play in High Refresh rate while streaming or recording.

What also seems to help is first connecting the capture card, and after that opening OBS. It will automatically activate. If you have usb device on and video record device on. You can find video record or capture device ( not sure how it is called in English) under + in the OBS interface. And then it is the option at the very bottom.
