Hi, Thanks for the video. Looking for some help for a similar generic capture card. I have connected a MediaCom karaoke system's console (HDMI out put) to the capture card's HDMI-In. And the USB port of capture card connected to my Laptop's USB port. I can see the console screen on my laptop within OBS. But that's it, it freezes there. It does not detect the clicks of the remote control of the Karaoke system. Any idea how the clicks of remote control of a source device gets transferred through capture card? Any specific settings in OBS, I need to change?
@@banana_soul I fixed it a bit ago. I just had to go to settings and System > Sound > All sound devices, and I had to manually go to my capture card and click allow for my windows to allow my pc to use my capture card for audio
Enjoyable video, thanks! Would have been nice if you had played a few seconds of the game so I could see if its truly capturing in 60fps. Menu looked a bit stuttery, like it was possibly only 30. Well the lens flair effect seemed pretty smooth though, so maybe its fine. Just gotta be super careful with these cheap ones. They can show as 60fps in software, but they're really just doing a deceptive frame doubling trick.

If you capture at 1080 x 60 it's actually doing 30fps. You can check this by playing back in VLC and pressing the E button to advance frame by frame and you'll see frames are just doubled.
@@drunkulasretrofuntertainme4746 I did a test today and yes you are right. 720P seems to be at 60 but still it’s not as smooth anyway as you see it on the TV. Maybe it means it’s skipping frames? It could just be the quality of this capture card.

@@drunkulasretrofuntertainme4746 yea this is false advertising!! I heard If you do 720P it records in 60 frames but I have not tried it.
It does capture 60fps at 720. I've also got another cheap capture card that does 720 x 60 but it isn't as good at fine detail as this card.@@AlexGesse
@@drunkulasretrofuntertainme4746 I did a test today and yes you are right. 720P seems to be at 60 but still it’s not as smooth anyway as you see it on the TV. Maybe it means it’s skipping frames? It could just be the quality of this capture card.
I hooked it up but i’m getting static sound. Any help?
My screen went black when I said this up. Is there any way to fix that
i have the same exact capture card however my computer is not detecting it even though the input and output are working. I have made sure that the usb parts are 3.0 however it is stlll not working.
Same issue here have u fixed it ?
So, can someone explain why nothing pops up in obs? All it has is the integrated webcam and i have everything plugged in
Nevermind, i got it
How did u fix it
Just got mine, unfortunately the HDMI between my Switch Dock and the Capture Card isn't working. Not sure if it's the card or the dock to blame (HDMI works).
Did you ever find a solution I’m having the same problem
I got this and ran okay for like an hour of streaming. I was streaming Dead Space for an hour, this capture card overheated and now my hdmi input outlet isnt working anymore. I just bought elgato. Buy it nice or buy it twice.
Can you take screen shots with it?
Hey guys I'm using OBS studio and trying to get it set up but no display I'm trying to connect to my tv so I can watch and record
It just shows the colorful line screen for me when I turn my switch on...
can you record tv screen on laptop? mine doesnt work
Why everytime I plug in this capture card. I get directx error for origin games?
Got this for $27, and was good enough to stream our Xbox One S at 720p
So if you don’t have the 3.0 usb it won’t work
Hey, can we record pc screen output in android phone by capture card
Not sure if you ever found an answer to your question...I have been recording videos lately on an android device...there are some quirks to it but it does work...I am planning on putting together a pc running android for better quality...may have to upgrade to the item in the video to streamline things...hope this helps...
It works but there is a delay between the controller and what is displayed. Solutions ?
if a capture card has a hdmi cable with it, you can plug that into another device (tv or monitor or just anything that can use it) and then it will appear on there with no delay. i think
Does this work for the wiiu and xbox 360?
i got my game audio to work but i cant get my party or gamechat audio to pick up, does anyone know how to fix this, i have a elgato chat link but that dosent work either and my capture card looks the same as the one here.
How'd you get your game audio to work?
Hola: Esta cap. usa el MS2109 como microprocesador. Gracias

ima having problems getting game audio
did you notice any lag between the switch controller and the gameplay while using this device?
Thank you so much for this video it helped me so so much 😃
Has anybody noticed that their sound recorded sounds tinny?
Yes. I've tried everything, the sound is terrible. It's like it's straining to get through. I've tried everything but it's still the same. I only got it yesterday but I'll probably send it back and get a more expensive one. The picture quality is still great on this tho.
You can amplify it in obs
@@AdrianGam3show ?
