Thank you sir for show this. Looking to get into recording and streaming nintendo switch and looking forward to stream the next Zelda game coming in a few months.
I just liked and subscribed... This is the only video that has given me hope... I use Panasonic Lumix fz300 and I learned it is not streaming stuff. So I bought this Capture Card. But still, it hasn't come yet. But the way your video has given me hope is that on OBS my device appeared as a "USB Video" just like yours, however, on other videos this capture card appeared as "USB 3.0 HD Capture Card" so I got scared. Thanks for sharing this video.. I am still looking for ways to make my Lumix fz 300 camera stream live. Thanks man.
Thank you! The main thing I needed was the audio to work from the switch. There is a micro second delay with the sound from the video but its bearable :)
For some reason, Im only getting a display when i change the Resolution type to custom, and set it to 800x600 and the FPS to 30! I have the exact same Capture card, any advice on a remedy?
Will you show the actual video that was captured? Did it record your audio commentary? Trying to find out if I need to buy a microphone. Will a headset with microphone work?
Just ordered on Amazon today! I'm gonna use another adapter from RCA to HDMI to capture and finally record some VHS tapes I have here, I think it'll work perfectly! About the audio delay, that's pretty simple actually (also also not that uncommon on any card actually), nothing to condemn the capture card.
I know no one can speak to all models of these pass through type. But do they typically send the hdmi sound into it so when I record I can use the hdmi sound input? Thanks.
I got this recently but it doesn't seem to capture audio from my Virgin Media (TiVo) box. There's nothing wrong with the card because it captures everything fine from a bluray player.
Super interesting, it's true that this type of box is everywhere on the Internet, in every computer and high-tech equipment shop, but it's never the same brand! I've bought one, but it's not branded, it's cheap, and it doesn't work! What's more, the blue cable is USB 2, not 3.0! 4 contacts instead of 9. The blue color now means nothing at all!
Enjoyable video, thanks! Would have been nice if you had played a few seconds of the game so I could see if its truly capturing in 60fps. Menu looked a bit stuttery, like it was possibly only 30. Well the lens flair effect seemed pretty smooth though, so maybe its fine. Just gotta be super careful with these cheap ones. They can show as 60fps in software, but they're really just doing a deceptive frame doubling trick.
@@disgomusic-vj3hx Switch supports 30 fps only? Do you mean this device only supports 30 fps on Switch? Because the Switch definitely supports 60 fps. Either way, not good, ha.
I have same issue with this kinda capture card (zasluke) On my capture card i experience audio delay when i stream and video starts stuttering after being online for 2-3 hours. Probably because the way the way it heats up
I actually just want to play on my PC monitor while listening to my friends on Discord via the same headset. Do I really need obs? or can I just connect and start playing by listening to the discord channel and the game?
there is probably a significant delay, there should be less delay on a monitor or tv screen if you hook it up to the hdmi output of the capture card, because the hdmi output bypasses the capture and takes the image straight from your console and into your display.
its great for switch and other consoles with HDMI but if you use an adapter to use HDMI it just won't work. However, I may just be ignorant and doing something wrong because there may be extra steps or something.
One caveat, it does not block usb hum from the computer. I'm getting hum from my usb backfed into my hdmi to connected monitors. Tried a usb hum block. That worked but as soon as I ran OBS Studio on computer, I then had a ratcheting noise. This will likely vary from one setup to another. Just too many variables.

So i tried doing what you suggested for the audio but selected CA-989UP UAC instead ( since there is no HDMI USB 3.0 audio option) and I still can't get any audio. I also tried plugging in some headphones to the audio jack in the capture card, and I can't get audio from there either.

Thanks for this video. I have a question though. My computer has 2 red USB ports in the front. I know that the 3.0 USB s are supposed to be blue. But I checked the specs on my computer and it says they are 3.1 USB ports. Think the card would work?
Red, yellow, teal, and orange usb ports are all 3.2 superchargers. They also go both ways as far as data transfer. It should work very well. In fact, if you DL an app called "charge meter z it's green with a speedometer at the top and a heart at the bottom" that will tell you how fast your phone will charge. You'll also need a cable that's one of those colors too, but you'll never charge your phone faster when using those ports and that specific cable. Id use that cable on the card too btw as that's the best you can get for both. GL
