Hello. I have watched your video and I'm having personal trouble with it. I have used Elgato HD60S Game Capture and connected them to my xbox, computer, and television. The problem that I see on my laptop is that after I have selected video capture device, for some reason the device list only shows me camera devices for my laptop but not showing me my Elgato Game Capture Device. Is there a way to resolve this problem? Let me know if you have received this message.
With this exact setup, i got 2 questions. 1. The webcam will be connected to the laptop right? So how can we add the webcam to obs? 2. You talked about the audio being on obs so the viewers can hear the audio (i expect that this wont have any latency) but what if i want to use a headset while gaming and be able to hear party chat and game chat, how can i ensure that i can hear the audio and my viewers aswell.
Yup! You'd add a Video Capture Device Source inside OBS :D It shouldn't have latency, you might need an elgato chat link cable if you're not able to hear everything through the actual headset port. If you message elgato support then they can give you more specifics on that :D

Just a quick question, I’m hoping to set this up tonight and have my first stream. However I’m just wondering if it will pick up audio from the PlayStation party chat as well as the game. It would be cool to be able to hear me and my friends all together at once while playing and hearing the game also.
Not 100% sure for the PS5 but I know you can set the Xbox audio to come out of both your headset and speakers in the audio settings which usually works

Hello! I play PC games and somehow I can't get my OBS streams (or even recordings) to look smooth like 60 fps. It looks more like a 15 - 20 fps video or stream, despite having OBS set to record 60 fps only (my in-game FPS are usually capped at 160 fps). The resulting video footage shows 60 fps in file properties. The stream information show no lost or skipped frames and also states 60 fps as target). I use a single pc without a capture card and alse had OBS preview window disabled during streaming and/or recording. I've tried many video encoder settings and combinations (software/hardware/NVENC, etc.), but all without result. Minimizing OBS or even setting its priority to Above normal or High doesn't do anything. I'm completely at loss here. What could be causing this madness? 😞
