I can't wait until we have some ryzen embedded v2516 and v2718 mini PCs like this. I definitely want to see more videos on this thing. Maybe putting on some better thermal compound and opening up some more ventilation on the top for a tad more air flow and then using that ryzen software you mention to boost the clocks up. With really good ventilation, it might lower any sound it puts out.
This is a fantastic little box and great introduction video. From what I can tell, this is the smallest somewhat proper gaming pc ever built! I’ve personally been playing some older games on mine…Borderlands Enhanced, Black Ops 2, Shadow of War, Batman Arkam Origins. All playable at 900p/1080p med/low settings. I’ve increased the tdp to 35w, increased boost intervals, removed many ram consuming functions of W10 to conserve as much for gaming as possible. When can we expect a follow up video?
If you just need a basic pc for light coding,browsing and typing go for the the raspberry pi400. Its only a 100bucks at the max and can dip as low as 80bucks.
I think with the virtual pinball craze going through the retro arcade community right now, putting pinball fx3 at 1080p would be something people would be interested in. Tons of people are looking for a cheap pc able to run that.

I wonder if you could undervolt this, which may make it run cooler to yield better performance by not throttling the CPU.
I really want to see how good the new ryzen v3000 embedded cpus will be. Based off zen 3 / rdna 2, similar to the 6800u. Should be little beasts due out later this year.
I wish you tried other esports titles like League of Legends, Rocket League, Valorant/CSGO for these types of mini-pc's since they're not meant for super hard games like Cyberpunk. GtaV and genshin was a nice surprise tho!

Not yet; the Udoo Bolt V8 has V1605B embedded Vega GPU, albeit more customization, but it runs $459.00. This thing has the V1650B GPU w Ryzen 4Core/8Thread...8Gb RAM soldered... I'm guessing fairly close....(?) Maybe more.....or less...(?) …I have no idea.......
Their website is marketing it for high demand digital signage, casino games, etc... If that's the case, I would think it would be competitively priced. Udoo knows they are selling to a niche market & their products are priced accordingly....
$459 can get a much better miniPC spec, so I was thinking this could be slightly higher price than a Larkbox. But if the price of miniPCs with the same Ryzen CPU already that expensive, this will be DOA.

I don't want to stick any usb drive every time when I need extra space, 64 or 128 gb are nothing these days, my phone got more space than this device. If I need to see some 4k video then is already dead for me, a single file is around 70-80 gb.
He's thinking of pushing it even further with the next video on emulation. I would rather he just run the thing as is out of the box to gauge the emulation performance instead of pushing it to the limit and cut the lifespan by 3/4.
Careful, people. The only Amazon parcels I have ever returned in the past 10 years have all been mini-pc's. Two this year of some brand called Minisforum. The problem with these items is that those custom boards ship with faults too often. And not just for me. I get it, testing is expensive and I am sure I have been unlucky but I am done with these no-name branded junk mini pc's and ended spending about 50% more on a NUC.
Although the size of pc is ultra small and its specs are also aren't thaf much good ,but it's performance on high end games like cyberpunk and gta V is very impressive.
I must add to the chorus of 'What's the price?' Other than potentially being too expensive (no idea, not seen a AMD system this size), the biggest drawback is the non-upgradeable storage, 128GB is functional, but tight for running Windows and a game or two.
Can you do a emulation test on a surface pro 5 by chance only reason ask is picked one up sub $200 and seen them fairly priced under $400 normally. Plus no one has really tested these Seen a few S4 tested but no one does emulation testing like you. Great content as always 👍

This might be very versatile as it can be both a thin client and a tiny server node and such, but emmc 128gb is too limiting considering this could actually run games natively without issue, they really need to have user accessable M.2 in there because relying on USB 3.0 is not a very elegant solution to add an SSD to it.
Based on benchmarks, this is as fast as my i5-8250u laptop with dedicated MX150 (25w). Super impressive. The only downside is the non upgradable eMMC storage. Can’t compete with an SSD esp. nVMe.

Didn't know ECS was still around. My first computer build back in the day was a Pentium 4 with a purple (PCB) ECS motherboard.
